« on: February 18, 2010, 05:12:49 AM »

I not sure if this should go here forgive me if in the wrong place.

I am trying to figure out what program can be used that will allow me to make a floorplan room style layout that can be uploaded into E .

 Anyone have any suggestions  ?

I've found a number of free sites for that kind of thing:

But that seems to be the nicest and best one I've found thus far.

Oh that's fun to use.
But, I'm either blind or there aren't options to create round rooms? o.O

Personally, I prefer using Google Sketchup as my CAD program.  As a cad program, it's incredibly user friendly (relatively speaking), and it also lets you be very precise. You can use it to make anything (theoretically), but I've only used it to design structures and vehicles so far.

It doesn't have any easy sharing abilities from what I've seen, but It's easy enough to make pics (or vids, with the right software) using it.
