Post counting...

How is the post count calculated? The count under my avatar (at the time of posting this) says 24, but if i go into my profile and look up my statistics, it says I have 86 posts... Is there some forums that don't count post-wise, or is there some other limit or something?

Posts in the socializing / forum games boards aren't counted : )
