Depends are you using the Advanced Format (I prefer that) or the Traditional Format (likely won't play in this case) before I commit to playing.

We use the TCG rules, the rules that is played in most tourneys.
1-4 star monsters - no sacrifice
5-6 star monsters - 1 sacrifice
7+ - 2 sacrifices

So its the ADVANCED FORMAT the rules used at all UDE Sanctioned Events? Or not? There are huge differences in power level since the Advanced Rules restrict most of the most powerful and abuseable cards.

As for tribute rules for monsters there are ways around that.  ;)
