But What the Heck is a Blog?? ... What is the purpose for it and if so how do you use it ?  :-[

Think of it like an online diary that you choose to share with people. You post your thoughts on a topic, and people can reply with comments. If you have a look at the blogs on here you should get an idea of the format.

There are other purposes as well.  For example, in Metamorphic Bibliography (see link below), I've been putting together an annotated bibliography of shape-shifter literature, encyclopedias, and scholarly criticism.  Someone else I know recently started doing something similar with steampunk materials.
