!! Pirates (Historical)

MC, a young nobleman / Prince on the run to escape an arranged marriage is captured by pirates led by YC, a notorious captain to be held to ransom. He is made to work on the ship to earn his keep while they wait, but slowly develops a love of both life on the sea, and the ship’s fearsome captain. He no longer wants to be ransomed, and sent back to his old life. Meanwhile his unwanted betrothed hunts down his runaway groom.


!! The Courtship (Fantasy)

Human x Humanoid

A young man finds himself the recipient of an aggressive courtship of a large, ferocious non-human whether he likes it or not. (Would love an orc or something similar for this one!)

MC is a member of a small village at the foot of the mountains, working as a herbalist, and occasionally in the local tavern for a little extra coin. The village is mostly human, though some other races live within their walls. They are on good terms with an encampment of orcs (or other burly humanoid) outside of the village, often trading grain and other goods for the spoils of the orcs’ hunt.

YC is a member of the non-human tribe, and since setting eyes on MC has decided that this is his mate, and nothing can sway him otherwise. He begins an aggressive courtship of MC, determined to have him for his own, unwilling to let any other stand in his way.


The Alliance (Fantasy / Historical)

Two warring countries form an uneasy alliance against a greater threat, but in order to assure cooperation, each country sends a member of their royal family to live in the other country’s household. Referred to as an ambassador, but in truth an insurance policy and a hostage. MC, the foreign Prince, struggles with being away from home, surrounded by strangers and enemies, and with confusing feelings for YC, a member of his people’s enemy’s household.


The Hostage (Fantasy / Historical)

An unhappy noble meticulously plans his own fake kidnapping to get away from his family, only to end up kidnapped for real by chance. They want to ransom him, he doesn’t want to go back.


The Beast (Fantasy)

Human x Humanoid

Something has been lurking around the town for years; picking off livestock, scaring away travellers, and spreading the rumour that the town is cursed. Hunters have been sent into the woods, offerings left to appease the Gods and answer their prayers. Finally, the high cleric declares that a sacrifice must be made - the human kind. MC drew the short straw, and finds himself tied to a post, awaiting certain death. Only, the truth of the Beast (YC) is something he could never have expected.
