Spyro the Dragon...born? (Seeking Storyteller/GM)

To head off the immediate jokes: no, this is not a Spyro/Skyrim (Skyro?) pitch.

I always liked the idea of Spyro becoming a wandering adventurer once he reached adulthood. After taking down three archvillains, how could Spyro settle for a different life?

Currently, I am seeking a writing partner for either a freeform or system game involving Spyro going off on adventures outside of the Dragonlands. My initial leaning is toward D&D 5th edition, but I'm also somewhat familiar with 3.5e as well as Pathfinder 1e and 2e. I am open to trying new system such as Mutants and Masterminds, but I would need serious assistance with building a character.
