unable to get into messages

Hi,

if someone already has a post regarding this issue my apologies for dumping a second one.

I know I have messages in my inbox but when I click on them, it just keeps saying - loading.
Nothing else happens. 

I can access the messages via email but am then unable to respond.
Not sure if it is a site wide thing or just a me thing.
