In recent weeks, I have started following the sex scandals of Vince MacMahon and studied some of the related scandals of the industry (Paige, Lita, etc). This led me down a rabbit hole where I examined the WWE from a storyline/production angle. All the shenanigans that people got away with backstage. And this got me to thinking: what if we existed in a world where Vince McMahon would not have to hold back for fear of the product not meeting a PG-13 rating?

So! I'm looking for a wrestling character. Wrestler from the indie scene, probably even a champ, who gets the chance to join the big time. This will be a WWE expy, where the sleazy businessmen, the musclebound powerhouses, the nimble luchadors and the sexy siren athletes come together to thrill the crowd.

Female: She comes in wide-eyed, but finds there to be a toxic patriarchal fratboy culture in the locker room which she has to navigate. This will take the form of degrading storylines, being used for eye candy, trading sexual favors for increased exposure, and so on.

Male: He's been in the scene a couple years (or longer), exploits the females and jostles for space on the card. Yes, your character is a misogynistic asshole, and if you want to play anything but, this is the wrong thread.

Kinks explored:
NC / Dub-con Rarely full-on violent Viking-style rape. It's usually more of coercion and extortion. Casual unsolicited groping. There might be hazing, being taken advantage of while intoxicated, things like that.
Public humiliation Sexual taunts, sex tapes, degrading sex acts in the locker room, overly exposed attire.

Requirements:
It's useful to know a bit of wrestling terminology and have even just a spectator's understanding of the business. Even better if you've read a couple pro wrestling biographies. If you're actually part of the industry, you might be overqualified for this position. 

There'll be a lot of sex going on as part of the environment. The workers are on the road a lot and opportunities for sex don't just come from fellow wrestlers - there's referees, janitors, security and so on. That said...

Don't expect to be writing pages of sex. There'll be smut, but I have very little patience for long drawn-out sex scenes that don't really contribute to the plot. Especially if we're not posting replies every single day.

I will GM this one. The environment and NPCs are mine to control. You will focus on only your character. I've encountered players who don't fully understand this concept (though honestly I don't think it's particularly complicated) so be warned that this is a big one. I will absolutely respect your control over your intellectual property; kindly return the courtesy.

Plot points can, and should, be discussed. I don't just want to spring stuff on you and I hate surprises.

Just to answer some questions that have come my way so far, and clarify a few points.

This is not one of those games where we say "what if pro-wrestling was real"?
No, in this game, pro wrestling is still "fake". Match outcomes are still scripted. Think of pro wrestling as an episodic soap opera. There's the stuff that goes on in front of live audiences, which is the show and there's the stuff that happens backstage which the paying audience are not privy to. Such as the politics, the sordid affairs, the "real" stuff.

Some wrestlers have a separate rating for their Tag Team and themselves. This shows what they are rated as a team, and as a singles competitor. It's possible to have a 2-star team that is made up of two 4-star wrestlers, especially if it's just two wrestlers that have been randomly thrown together. Conversely, you can have a 5-star team whose wrestlers are only 2 stars, which would mean that they're not into singles competition and only really function as a unit.

What the moves mean
The character you create would probably know a lot more than 5 or 10 moves. his or her star rating, however, will limit the moves they're allowed to actually perform in the ring. That's because the Marketing department does not want too many people to use the same move, and potentially dilute their brands. Thus, a wrestler, while on paper knows about 5 signature moves, could actually know three times that number.

Universal moves
A punch or a kick is certainly a move, but they're so commonplace that they would never qualify as a "signature". These can be used by any wrestler. Examples of these include:
- dropkick
- bodyslam
- clothesline
- vertical suplex
- back suplex
- back bodydrop
- snapmare
- elbow drop

The only time any of these could be counted as a Signature move, is if there was a special variant. Examples:
- dropkick (springboard dropkick, missile dropkick)
- bodyslam (hammerlock scoop slam)
- clothesline (diving clothesline, flying clothesline)
- vertical suplex (snap vertical suplex, superplex)
- back suplex (super back suplex, slingshot back suplex)
- snapmare (jumping snapmare)
- elbow drop (diving elbow drop)

Or if they were chained. Examples:
- dropkick (dropkick into corner followed by German Suplex)
- bodyslam (scoop slam followed by fist drop)
- clothesline (clothesline followed by elbow drop)
- snapmare (snapmare followed by Sleeper Hold)

Multiple variations
In the wrestling bios above, you might have seen things like "multiple Armbar variations" and things like that. These count as one move.

For example, a wrestler might know how to apply a rolling armbar, an elevated armbar and a seated armbar. Instead of listing them as separate moves, they count as one move under "multiple Armbar variations".

The wrestler needs to know three or more variations in order for this to count. Universal moves can count as one of the moves. Examples:
- multiple bodyslam variations (bodyslam, hammerlock scoop slam, military press)
- multiple dropkick variations (dropkick, missile dropkick, baseball slide dropkick)
- multiple vertical suplex variations (vertical suplex, rolling vertical suplex, superplex)

These are the awards (championships included) that wrestlers can win, which are part of the record books.

King of the World
This is a yearly tournament between four male wrestlers - the King of Oceania, King of America, King of Asia, King of Africa and King of Europe. The King of whichever region the current World Champion participates in, is ineligible.  The winner gets a shot at the Men's World Championship.

Queen of the World
This is a yearly tournament between four female wrestlers - the Queen of Oceania, Queen of America, Queen of Asia, Queen of Africa and Queen of Europe. The Queen of whichever region the current World Champion participates in, is ineligible. The winner gets a shot at the Women's World Championship.

King of America/Asia/Africa/Europe/Oceanian
This is a yearly tournament comprising of male wrestlers from that continental sub-division. The winner is eligible to participate in the King of the World tournament.

Queen of America/Asia/Africa/Europe/Oceanian
This is a yearly tournament comprising of female wrestlers from that continental sub-division. The winner is eligible to participate in the Queen of the World tournament.

Men's Tag Team Championship
All men's tag teams are eligible to challenge for this title.

Women's Tag Team Championship
All women's tag teams are eligible to challenge for this title.

Men's World Championship
All male wrestlers are eligible to challenge for this title. If the wrestler is the current American/Asian/African/European Champion, that title must be dropped after winning the Men's World Championship.

Women's World Championship
All female wrestlers are eligible to challenge for this title. If the wrestler is the current American/Asian/African/European Champion, that title must be dropped after winning the Women's World Championship.

Men's American/Asian/African/European/Oceanian Championship
All male wrestlers from that regional sub-division are eligible to challenge for this title.

Women's American/Asian/African/European/Oceanian Championship
All female wrestlers from that regional sub-division are eligible to challenge for this title.

American/Asian/African/European/Oceanian Wrestling Personality of the Year
All wrestling personalities (wrestlers, managers, ring announcers, etc) from that regional sub-division are eligible for this yearly title that is bestowed from Management.

Viewer's Choice of the Year
All wrestling personalities (wrestlers, managers, ring announcers, etc) are eligible for this yearly title that is bestowed from viewer's polls. It is a Top 10 List, and inclusion at either Number 1 or Number 10 is the same honor.

Tag Team of the Year
All tag teams are eligible for this yearly title that is bestowed from viewer's polls.

Memorials
One-time tournament held for active wrestlers who died while under WIN employ, an unspecified number of years after date of death. Proceeds are given to surviving estate, or to charity.

Silver Jubilees
One-time tournament held to honor active wrestlers who have been in the company for 25 years. Proceeds are given to wrestler.

Ruby Jubilees
One-time tournament held to honor active wrestlers who have been in the company for 40 years. Proceeds are given to wrestler.

A quick pitch: Jennifer Wiley, a young star in a small regional promotion (playing in church/community halls and small "no bleachers" arenas across western Ontario from Windsor to Hamilton) is picked up as Enhancement/Training talent. (I'm building her as "two stars" talent). Her local fame earns her a single line mention in a "Breacher Report" talent update, but to most fans it was a meaningless name.

Jenn had a gimmick, a glasses-wearing gamer girl whose hard-core finish was smashing a computer keyboard over the opponent's back, the Hack Attack. But the e-mails from development made it clear that WIN was interested in the talent, but the gimmick would have to stay behind.

With a tearful farewell to her wrestling fiance, she packed her things into her aging hand-me-down Honda Civic and headed south...

Move naming conventions:
I'm certainly no expert on this, but this is the stand taken as far as move names are concerned.

Some moves have a real-life person's name appended to them, eg
- Romero Special
- Buff Blockbuster
- Labelle Lock

Some moves have a gimmick attached to them, e.g
- Tombstone
- Pedigree
- Helluva Kick
- Yes Lock
- Sharpshooter
- Styles Clash

In most cases, I prefer to use the technical name of the move, to disassociate this game from any wrestling promotion.
- Hangman Neckbreaker instead of Rude Awakening
- Butterfly Facedriver instead of Pedigree
- Belly-to-belly Kneeldown Piledriver instead of Tombstone
- Double Leg Grapevine instead of Sharpshooter or Scorpion Deathlock
- Flying Body Press instead of Supafly Leap

Exceptions occur when the moves were (to my limited knowledge) actually innovated from those people themselves, eg
