Hello, and thank you for checking out this idea thread! The concept is rather simple, ultimately, and is something that can be filled in on through discussion. At its core the idea boils down to creating a new, separate, magical kingdom. The reasons behind this can be anything from a people that are fleeing an oppressive regime (a kingdom that hates magical people/magical beasts, such as werewolves/sorcerers/dragons, etc, and we've decided to say fuck it and leave to make our own kingdom with blackjack and hookers?), to a post-apoc world where most of the landmasses are shattered or scorched, to our old kingdom has fallen to undead/demons/betrayal and we're seeking sanctuary to prepare to take it back, to anything we can possibly come up with.

A little about me before I continue with the idea; I'm looking for M/M writers to play opposite, and I only write top/dom characters. That said I'm looking to play something a little off-normal in this case, in that the character I play would probably be younger/shorter than yours. I'm looking to write a sort of 'Boy King' scenario, wherein my character (16/17ish?) takes up the crown and decides to create a place safe for every walk of life, even those usually viewed as too dangerous or normally viewed as less than human because of their beastly nature, blood, etc.

The logistics of it all can be worked on, as obviously we'd need to figure out how people hear about it, who is with him to begin with, how it all works... Perhaps he stumbles upon ancient ruins of a kingdom and does a figurative 'pulling the sword from the stone' sort of thing, or is even blessed by a deity figure. That's without talking about say, layout of the city, structure of education/sewage/government, magical wards, etc etc, which could all be discussed ahead of time or figured out 'in character'.

I'd encourage you to take this opportunity to bring out your beastly characters, your werewolves or minotaurs or dragons or even just tired and cynical types or those with magic considered 'dark'--the types society might cast out, or want to see removed. I'm thinking my character is more going to be the determined, optimistic (if ruthless when needed) sort who truly believes in what he's creating.

It's a rough idea with a lot of potential for enemies within and without, intrigue, sex, and drama. While I'm willing to play a bunch of NPCs I'm hopeful to find someone that has an interest in sharing in that and the world creation, with your 'main' character likely playing the King's 'second' (or eventual consort, or some such). I'm thinking this as high fantasy, so the sky is sort of the limit when it comes to magic and the kingdom. We could even bring in ancient 'technology' or something if we wanted. ;D

Regardless, that's the base idea. Please feel free to look over my O/O's and reach out if you have any questions!

Bump. Played this once and had a blast, but the game didn't last long. Looking to give it another shot!
