Yorokonde

An Introduction
Hello there and welcome to my little corner of this website. My name is Yorokonde. I'm not much of a visual artist so I hope you don't mind this page looking rather utilitarian while I figure this website out.
I'm not new to roleplaying or writing, though I am new to Elliquiy. I've been writing on and off, with and without partners, for just about twenty years now. I won't go so far as to say that I'm a great writer, but I do at least know my way around the pen.
So with that I'll get right into the real reason you're all here.

What to Expect from My Writing

  • You can find my short list of Ons and Offs over there.
  • I plan to do my best to write long, descriptive responses. Which means three to six paragraphs of four or five sentences each. Naturally introductions will be a bit, or a lot, longer because I really enjoy my world building.
  • I will attempt to post at least twice a week. My work schedule is a 9 to 5 (EST) affair but I have to commute and often run errands on my way home. So as much as I would like to post daily, I might not always have the brain power for it. That doesn't mean daily posts won't happen. They just won't be the norm.
  • My job requires me to travel for weeks at a time on occasion. While that doesn't mean that I'll be totally out of contact during those times, it does mean that my posting schedule may become more erratic while I'm on a job site. I will send a Private Message when one of these trips is approaching to offer fair warning.
  • My preference would be to post our writing on this forum in the appropriate spots. I don't have anything against writing on Discord as well if that is your preference, though I find the character limitation to be a hinderance.
  • I prefer to write in the third person, but I have no desired tense. I will write in first person if it suits the purposes of the story. Second person perspective has always confused me, so I don't desire to write in it no matter what story I'm trying to write.
  • I have no problem writing side characters or even introducing secondary characters to the story. I find it a lot of fun in some situations.

What I Expect from Your Writing

  • I would like my writing partner to respond well to the length of my posts. While I do know that some situations require shorter responses, constantly receiving only a few sentences for my effort is demoralizing long term.
  • Don't be afraid to throw small twists and turns into the story to keep me guessing. I would still want for us to talk about major changes or changes to the story tone, but I like creative partners who are as interested in driving the story as I am.
  • Communication is key. Always. If either of us write something that makes the other uncomfortable or includes erroneous details, I would like to hope that we can simply talk about how to alter the scene to keep moving forwards.
  • On that note, please don't ghost me. I understand attention, desires, and hormones rise and fall with the passing of time. If you find you're no longer having fun with a story, just let me know before you stop responding. I will always respect your decision. The same goes for if you need to take a break or miss a week or two because of real life obligations. I completely understand that real life needs to come first, because it does. Just drop me a note when you can if something comes up.
  • I would prefer one post a week from my writing partner as a minimum.

Story Ideas, Prompts, and Visual Aids
Below I've included a number of prompts I would be interested in finding a partner for. They are by no means the only ones I'm interested in doing, so if you're got an idea to pitch me feel free to send me a message. I'll be sure to get back with you as soon as I can.
Unless specifically stated, I am always looking to play the Male role of any prompt posted below.

A Knight to Remember
Setting: Medieval Fantasy
Tags: Romance, Knights, Monsters, Duty before Desire, Slow Burn, Political Intrigue
Story/Lewd Ratio: 90%/10%
Male Character: As a Duke and Minister in charge of the kingdom's southern trade routes, he often spends his days behind a desk rather than strutting about the countryside on a horse. He is a soft man, but a kind one that is well liked by all those on his lands. He knows his duty and does everything he can to make decisions that would cause both the kingdom as a whole as well as his own lands to prosper. He is noble in a quiet way that is rare to see during this era. Most of all, he is honorable to a fault. He is unmarried despite him being comfortably into his thirties, a true rarity in these times, but he seems unhurried to accept and of the propositions from the minor nobles on his lands. Without a wife, he has few people he can confide in openly. So over the years he has taken to discussing what is on his mind with his Knight. Which has turned into a friendship over time that both conceal from the others of the estate to prevent the appearance of impropriety.
Female Character: One of the few female knights in the kingdom that are not servicing directly under the King. She serves as the Duke's personal bodyguard and head of his security. In fact, she is one of only three bodyguards the Duke keeps on staff. Threats to the Duke's life have been rare, so he has rarely seen the need to have more despite her continued insistence that a larger force would make him even safer. Quiet, reserved, and professional in any public setting where her actions would reflect upon her Duke. Lethal in a way that only professional, trained killers can be. During private moments with the Duke a more casual relationship between the two shows itself. She has been his bodyguard for years at this point and so often spends the mornings having tea with him and discussing whatever is on their minds. But once the business of the day starts intruding she is professional once again.
Plot Points: The current king is a young man on the throne only because his father got drunk and slipped from a high wall. He is a hedonist uninterested in his own kingdom aside from what fleshly delights it can bring him. So the actual ruling of the kingdom has fallen to a small group of nobles, all of them bitter, petty men more interested in settling old grudges with their new power rather than running the kingdom properly. One of them has taken issue with the honorable reputation the Duke has garnered for himself. Apparently a number of lesser nobles have started to wonder why such a clever and upstanding man wasn't more involved in running the kingdom. And suddenly the goblins have begun raiding the southern trade routes. So a command the Duke cannot ignore comes from the King, demanding he take charge of the force sent to repel the goblins personally. Something all involved know the Duke is ill equipped to handle. Their lives in danger from more than just goblins, The Duke and The Knight discover that they can no longer ignore the feelings that have been growing between them any longer. But neither can they set aside their duty for the pleasures of the flesh.

A Long, Cold Night
Setting: Modern Post-Apocalypse
Tags: Antro-Female/Human Male, Survival, Exploration, More Questions Than Answers, Dangerous Wildlife
Story/Lewd Ratio: 60%/40% (roughly, this one I'm a little less certain of the ratio)
Male Character: A pilot who was flying a small plan when the electrical change took place. He crashed up in the mountains and spent the last two days struggling down from them in clothing that really wasn't suited for hiking through snowstorms. He's practical, courageous, and not afraid of hard work. He also tends to be blunt to the point of being rude. And he's a little dim when it comes to catching "hints" that women are into him. But he tries his best to be a good guy.
Female Character: Tall, well muscled, anthropomorphic wolf woman (leaning more furry than not) who has always been something of a loner. A natural survivalist who has been living off the land for a few years now after growing disgusted with how most people treated her in human civilization. Doesn't get along with the wild wolves of the area. Has heat cycles where her hormones start hammering on her hard, which can sometimes be set off early by males in her vicinity. Which is part of why she's alone in the woods.
Plot Points: Set in a situation similar to the video game, The Long Dark. A massive and sudden change in the electrosphere of the Earth has resulted in basically all electronics going dead. Along with dramatic changes in weather that seem to start and stop in the matter of moments and wildlife becoming much more aggressive. The Male Character would stumble onto the Female Character's cabin, where she has been bunkering down while she tries to figure out what's going on with the weather and wolves. Basically the two characters would spend a lot of time just trying to survive in the northern reaches of fictional Canada during the winter. Without contact to the outside world, there's no telling if there even is anyone else left. And there's not a lot to do during those long, cold nights or hour long snowstorms. Not much besides the obvious.

Don't Get Caught!
Setting: Modern Day, Slice of Life
Tags: Exhibitionism, Risky Sex, Bold and Daring, Catching Feelings, Making A Mess
Story/Lewd Ratio: 25%/75%
Male Character: A young man, mid 20s, who is heading back home from college after graduating. He has no real plans for his life at the moment and is feeling a little lost about that. Doesn't have a lot of experience with women, but isn't a virgin either, and has seen enough of the internet to know what he's doing. He has a wild side that he's always been to shy to actual indulge in.
Female Character: A young woman, mid 20s, who rides the bus between towns looking for young guys to tease and fluster. A total exhibitionist who gets off on being watched, but not so much that she wants to expose herself to the world. Enjoys seeing just how far she can push boundaries. A total tease who loves breaking guys out of their shells and getting them to indulge with her. Willing to try just about anything, the bolder the better.
Plot Points: They are are the only two passengers on the afternoon bus. Despite this, she chooses to sit in the seat right next to him. For a little while he just ignores her and looks out the window. But eventually he looks over and discovers that not only is she not wearing any pants, but she's rather openly fingering herself. Rather than get embarrassed at being caught, his eyes just encourage her to keep going. She taunts him a little while he tries to resist, not wanting to get caught, but eventually she teases (or perhaps more forcefully) drags him into joining her. They get pretty damned bold in that back row of the bus seat. Afterward he asks for her number so they can do this again sometime. She's caught a little off guard because none of the other guys she's teased have wanted to see her again. From there the two get into steadily more risky escapades. Back rows of movie theaters, dressing rooms at the mall, secluded clearings of hiking trails... that kind of stuff. Places where they could be caught and are risky, but both of them don't actually want to get caught. After a few such "dates", they come to discover that they actually want to spent time with each other that isn't all about sex. So the story starts to have some more slice of life moments.
Note: This one is more self-indulgent than my other plot ideas, but I don't want it to be a one-shot scene.
Note2: A story like this could be incorporated into a completely different, more overarching plot if you have one in mind.

Mr. Johnson's Bad Day *NEW*
Setting: Cyberpunk (Possibly Fantasy Cyberpunk ala Shadowrun)
Tags: Lots of Action, Adrenaline Fueled Sex, Frienemies
Story/Lewd Ratio: 80/20
Male Character: A Johnson is the middle manager of the black market. If it exists, they can find a way to get it for you provided you have enough money. If you need something illegal done, you talk to a Johnson and they can make it happen. Again, for a price. Johnsons are not always male but they all use the same name to protect themselves. Which is no mean feat in the age of information. This one is cool, calm, collected, and always dressed like he's ready for a funeral. Lots of black with highlights of crimson. There's something about the way that he moves that suggests he's got a lot of chrome under the hood, but he paid enough for it not to be obvious at a glance. He's a dangerous man in his own right but he's gotten used to being the one in control rather than on the front lines. Don't call him soft though. The old saying about wise men fearing a peaceful man gone to war applies to this guy in spades.
Female Character: Unlike the other story ideas, this one has lots of wiggle room when it comes to the female character. She should be take-charge and willing to plant a book in the MC's ass to get him moving. Stubborn enough to argue with him but not enough that she doesn't listen to common sense. But other than that the female character could be lots of things. A tech savvy individual who controls drones and vehicles like she's got oil in her veins. A chromed up mercenary with a gun in each hand who solves problems by hitting or shooting them. Or possibly a thief and hacker who knows her way around even high tech security systems. Or, if we go with the fantasy cyberpunk version, a city shaman who communes with rats, crows, trash spirits, and can throw a wicked lightning bolt given a battery and a moment to ask for help from the electricity demons.
Plot Points: This one is rougher and could certain do with some polish, so don't be afraid to message me with your own thoughts. It starts with the two chatting in the back corner of a bar. She is dropping off an item she "acquired" for him just the other night. She's pissed because it cost her a colleague, not a friend but someone she was used to working with on gigs, and is demanding more compensation. He's annoyed because she made so much noise getting out with the item that there are a lot of people looking for her. And him. Which is why neither one of them are exactly surprised when the front door gets kicked in and a squad of corporate killers starts firing in their direction. Turns out that what they stole was important enough to someone that they're willing to spend a lot of bullets to get it back. The two characters are forced to work together, despite him not really liking her and her not knowing all that much about him, just to survive. When they finally have a moment, they discover the true worth of what they stole and realize just how large a hole they've dug themselves into. So now they've got to come up with some way to settle all this without getting a bullet in their brains in the process.
Note: Please have at least a basic knowledge of the Cyberpunk genre for this one. I don't ever mind answering questions, but I don't want to write all the worldbuilding either.

A Stone Heart Still Bleeds Red *Taken*
Setting: Medieval Fantasy
Tags: Dark Romance, Claws and Fangs in Bed, Redemption, Monstress and Knight
Story/Lewd Ratio: 70/30
Male Character: A knight who failed in his oath to defend his lord until his dying breath. He watched his lord fall in battle and fought on, expecting (hoping) every moment to be his last. Except, when the fighting was all done he was still standing. He stares around shocked by the realization he was now an oath-breaker and grievously wounded. In his dazed state he simply starts walking. Part of him hopes to find another enemy to fight, despite being unable to lift his sword anymore, so he can die salvage some scrap of his honor. But he doesn't. So he keep walking.
Female Character: A gargoyle with all that entails. Wings and a long, thick, powerful tail combined with skin the color of veined marble that can be as hard and cold as stone or as soft and supple as living flesh at her desire. She is lovely, but in a slightly inhuman kind of way, as if it is impossible for her to escape her nature as a monster even with a beautiful form. She was once the guardian of a church and protected the fledgling religion as those who worshipped inside saw to her needs. But she was slowly and steadily corrupted as the monks descended into squabbling for power and control. She never knew the reason but the effects on her were noticeable. Her thoughts became darker, passions rose within her, and she began to hunger for more than the fruit and venison offered to her as the church descended into heresy. In the end, one of the monks spilled the blood of another and that was the final step to her downfall. She slaughtered and ate the rest of the monks. Lacking anywhere else to go in the world, she stayed and did what she could to tend to the church. Those who sought shelter in its walls were judged, for a small kernel of her soul still desperately hoped to find a spark of goodness in the world. But each time she was disappointed and ate the one who asked for her protection. In the end, the church was forgotten.
Plot Points: This story would begin with the Knight wandering into the courtyard of the church, which was seen several hundred years of neglect at this point, and collapsing at the base of the statue. The Gargoyle would listen to him bemoan the fact that he had broken his oath and wished for nothing more than the chance to offer up his life in place of his lord's. At that point she would reveal herself, thinking that perhaps she had finally found a good man in an evil age, and tend to his wounds. She wouldn't know any magic, so herbs and time would have to suffice for the Knight's recovery. The two would talk almost as soon as the Knight was capable of doing so. The Gargoyle would insistently, almost dominatingly so, take care of his needs while conversing with him. While she would seem outwardly friendly enough the whole time she is judging him and trying to decide if he was a good man or her next meal. At some point when the Knight starts to feel better she would feel her desire to eat him becoming harder and harder to control, even though he is proving to be just as kind and decent a man as he seems to be. This would lead into some blood drinking and perhaps trying to sate her desires in other ways as well.
There's lots of places the story can go from there. She could follow him into the outside world as he attempts to find a way to restore his honor, acting as his guardian even as he shows her the world isn't as bad as it seems. It could end up being a tragedy as the Knight catches some infection or disease that the Gargoyle cannot cure and she has to watch the one decent man she has known wither away an inch at a time. Or perhaps the Knight helps the Gargoyle rebuild the church from its nearly ruined state, discovering that her corruption eases away a bit at a time as he restores the building. Lots of options and I'm very open to brainstorming with this one.

Inspired By
This section contains pictures, music, and idea blurbs that tickle my muse and make me want to turn them into a story.
However, for one reason or another the ideas aren't as fleshed out as those above. So feel free to message me your takes, ideas, or inspirations based on what you find below. Brainstorm away!

They Tried To Hold Us Down
Based on the song "Give and Take" by Poor Man's Poison and the attached image.
A pretty open ended desire to play two people in the midst of a revolution they started but lost control of. Or perhaps starting earlier and going through the events that pushed them to the breaking point where they would want to kick off a revolt of some kind or another. Ideally this would be some kind of Cyberpunk, Steampunk, or similar Sci-Fi future/near-future setting. Or even a fantasy setting. I just really don't want to play this as a modern day scenario. I'd be really happy to brainstorm with someone about this and see what direction we can take it.

Who Needs A Thieves' Guild?
Based on this image.
Your character would be the sassy, take-charge goblin woman who has trained a host of the crows and cats in a fair sized city to bring her shiny jewelry, dropped coins, and even whole coin purses in exchange for attention, a warm place to sleep, and food. My character could be any one of a number of possible ideas. Perhaps a town guard that catches her in the act and exchanges a sexual favor in exchange for his silence, only for her to come running back to him for protection when the town's actual thieves' guild starts sending thugs after her for horning in on their take. Maybe there's a nobleman who knows her secrets and is extorting a certain amount of her profits each week in exchange for not sending the guards after her. Other ideas are encouraged, so long as the setting remains medieval fantasy.

Containment Breach
Inspired by SCP and Control.
A pretty simple idea just waiting to be expanded on in a big way. I'm interested in playing a monster (or monsters) of the creepy, unusual, inhuman, eldritch kind interacting with a female researcher. Or we can flip the roles if you're interested and I'll play a male researcher interacting with a bunch of more feminine monsters. While I'm fine with this leaning more heavily into the smut than most ideas, I would at least like a little bit of story building and character to go into it as well. I'd be okay with making it a more "episodic" affair too. Where each "episode" is the researcher interacting with a different monster rather than having one bit overarching story. Of course, there's always the chance of a containment breach where the researcher runs into the monster(s) in a less controlled setting too.

Hunting The Haunted *NEW*
Inspired by this image.
There exists a world not to different from our own. There are cell phones, television, bills to pay, and far too many people interested in their small lives. But there is also a darkness underneath it all that feeds on the worst emotions of the human soul. Most people only experience the faintest touch of these "spirits" as cold spots or moments of irrational emotions. Most people. Those blessed, or cursed, with a kind of sixth sense are able to interact with these spots of darkness. Unfortunately, far too few people understand the dangers in "listening" to these "spirits" and end up becoming monsters of one fashion or another. Hunters are not bound by any organization, governments deny that they exist, and fewer even know what they truly are. Most people just think they're crazy people or cosplayers carrying around archaic weapons. But they're the ones standing between humanity and its worst fears.

This one just kind of poured out of me in a stream of consciousness. I know there's a lot of anime and manga based off this kind of idea, but I'd like to do something more adult. Less "A Kiss for a Canine Princess" and more "Imawabi No Dakini". Basically the monsters will be real Cryptid style, sanity damaging beasts mixed together with more psychological horror 'The darkness was mankind all along' style darkness. I don't want it to be a story completely focused on death and despair though. Humanity struggling against the darkness, adrenaline fueled sex sometimes, and ultimately the Hunters coming out ahead in the end.

Darkest Dungeon-verse OC Plot *NEW*
Female Character based off by this image.
So I've always had a soft spot for the Darkest Dungeon universe. As dreary and dark as it is, I feel like it could be used to tell some really captivating stories. This one would start traditionally enough. The Male Character would be the scion of the Estate who was arriving in town to reclaim it from the darkness inhabiting it and the surrounding countryside. But he doesn't come with a broken down paladin and a disreputable rogue tagging along. They were killed by the bandits while they were trying to reach town. The only reason he didn't die along with them is that he knows his way around a dark incantation or two and a dagger. When he arrives in town, he sets out trying to recruit the local adventurers to his cause. The promise of treasure draws the Female Character, a musketwoman with a background to be determined. But she likes the look of him, his promises of treasure, and volunteers. However the first foray into the grounds goes poorly. The two end up limping back to the hamlet without the other three they brought in with them. They tend to each other, which requires some pretty intimate contact at times, and one thing leads to another. After all, when you nearly die, doing something life affirming feels really necessary. What happens from there? Do they both die horribly? Do they manage to cleanse the evil from the land? I'd be really happy to discuss and brainstorm with you if you're interested.

For this one I would appreciate some familiarity with the Darkest Dungeon universe. I don't expect you to know all the ins and out and I'd certainly rather deviate from the "classes" and characters from the game for this one. In fact, I would love to sprinkle some OC ideas and/or "classes" into the mix. But an idea of the general thrust and tone of the universe would be a true asset.

Swimming With Sharks *NEW*
Based off this image and a previous roleplay done off site.
In a world where monster girls of all stripes exist, it's not exactly a surprise for a snorkeler to run into one while exploring a beach and cove he just discovered. It's a little bit more of a surprise to discover the shark girl is friendly and chipper when all the rest of her ilk are content to troll the deeper waters of the ocean alone. Unlike the picture, the shark girl would be nude because, seriously, what does a mermaid need with clothing anyways? She could also lean a bit more towards the monster side of the monster girl equation with a less human face and sharp shark teeth. This story should start off more friendly than amorous, despite her undressed state, with the snorkeler spending an hour or two exploring the cove with her. She quickly proves to be a little unfamiliar with humans and the two exchange some facts of life. Like she offers to share a fresh fish she just caught and seems a bit shocked to discover most humans don't like raw, bloody fish. Or perhaps he gets his foot caught in some rocks and she wonders why he's panicking before she remembers he needs to breath air. Which would lead to a fun moment where she clamps her mouth over his and breathes for him for a moment.
This would be a slow burn kind of romance. Maybe there would be a few hot and heavy moments early on for one reason or another, but I have it in my head she's more eager for affection than just sex. There's this scene in my head where he comes back with scuba gear so they can swim around for a lot longer. Later, when he goes to leave, she convinces him to stay and watch the sunset with her and the two cuddle (him on top of her obviously because of the size difference) while they watch the sun go down. Maybe they make love under the stars or maybe they just fall asleep together, half in the water and half out of it.
I know it's a pretty slice of life story, but if you have some ideas on how to spice it up, or are okay with slice of life, hit me up and we can talk about it some more.
