M for F - A Series of Plot Trysts

Greetings one and all,

There are a few narratives I'd like to explore further that I've been throwing around that require somebody to start bouncing some ideas around with.

Gun for Hire

MC is former private security forces, retiring on the back of a short but successful career as a contractor with a large amount of money and absolutely no desire to reveal exactly how much or where it came from. Whilst initially living a rather extravagant life, he starts to feel heightening unease and concern that his past is catching up with him. Wary of everyone he meets, it's impossible to know exactly how he's going to react when somebody new walks into his life he can't figure out. Could this encounter be the moment he's pushed over the edge, and what will he become if it is?

A Game for Two

MC is a recently promoted executive to the board of directors of a rocketing hedge fund. He's confident, charming and out to make a name for himself. He has basically everything he wants - a job, a family, an active social life; what he lacks is anything that challenges him. For some, he's an inspiration - a testament to working hard and achieving your goals. To others, he's an over-achiever that causes more than a little resentment. For YC, he's the perfect prey.

Mass Effect

Set in the world of Mass Effect but not involving any canon characters (except as part of world-building or driving narrative, but not MC or YC), explore the galaxy with two characters caught up in the great struggle, but powerless to help anyone but each other.

Power Play

MC thinks he's god's gift - he's arrogant and aggressive and assumes he can have whatever he wants. Until he meets YC, who has actual powers. YC will go to great lengths to put MC firmly in his place and teach him the humility he's been lacking.
