Hi everyone, welcome to my roleplay search!

About me:

▢ 30 years old
▢ Hilarious
▢ She/Her
▢ Upwards of 15 years of experience
▢ Advanced Lit grammar
▢ Open to Discord and Google Docs for OOC and Roleplay
▢ Contact via PMs

Looking for:

A 25+ Writer I'm not comfortable roleplaying with anyone younger than this.
Who has a Semi to Adv-Lit Writing Style. The occasional spelling mistake or grammatical slip is fine.
Writes an average 2 - 4 paragraphs per post. Totally ok with 1 paragraph posts here and there when the scene requires it.
Is willing to play "M" in a "M x F" pairing. Please note that I'm currently looking to play the F lead, but I'm happy to double and play other genders for additional pairings. Your RL gender is irrelevant to me.
Is active. If you can post daily, or once every other day, that would be amazing.
Comfortable with a mature setting. Open to discuss, but generally I like GoT type worlds.
Enjoys longterm plots.
And prefers Story over Smut. Smut is great, we all love smut, but if the roleplay is 100% sex scenes, I'll get bored.

Not Looking For:

Bestiality. Thanks, but nope! My "monster" character from the second plot "A Night To Remember" appears human most of the time, and I'm not looking to write smut scenes in her transformed state.

Craving:

QuotePrincess x Knight (or non-royal) Looking for someone to play the knight (or non-royal). This is a forbidden romance/political intrigue plot.

Setting: A Mountain Kingdom in a semi-tropical fantasy setting known for its aggressive foreign policy, imperial ambitions, and expansive emerald, gold and salt mines. Members of the royal family have unusual emerald-colored eyes (of varying hues), a (now genetically transmitted) side-effect of their sustained contact with the rare and enchanted emerald encrusted in the royal pendant (used to crown monarchs). Rumour has it that when a new monarch takes the throne, this mysterious jewel allows them to commune with the mountain. Others say it contains an evil spirit, that possesses and corrupts them. The truth is probably somewhere in-between.

My Character: Kiratama, or Kira, is the niece of King Huazaque (she's his younger sister's daughter.) Her parents are dead, so she and her brother Xue, along with Huazaque's own children all live in the palace. Because the crown passes to the eldest child of the eldest daughter to be born to the royal line (matrilineal succession), Xue, who is five years Kira's senior, is heir to their Uncle's Kingdom. Nonetheless, it is Kira, and not the impetuous Xue, who is most suited to the throne, as she excels at languages and diplomacy. Although she is aware of this fact, Kira appears outwardly resigned to the reality that she is destined to play a supporting role to her brother's kingdom, probably by making a politically advantageous marriage (her eldest child would be Xue's successor.) Peep behind her obedient expression, however, and it's a very different story.

Note on Titles: King Huazaque's wife is a Lady, not a Queen, and their children are Lords and Ladies rather than Princes and Princesses. Before he was King, Huazaque was a Prince, that is to say, he was a child of the eldest daughter to be born to the royal line. Huazaque's sister (Xue and Kira's mother), Medutama was also a Princess for this reason. Xue and Kira, as the children of Princess Medutama, are also known as Prince and Princess respectively. If, in the future, Xue has children, they will be Lords and Ladies. On the other hand, if Kira has children, they will be Princes and Princesses. And so on. Children of all genders can inherit the throne, so long as they are the eldest child of the eldest daughter to be born to the royal line. If the eldest child of the eldest daughter dies, it passes to the next child, and so on and so forth. If all the children of the eldest daughter die, it passes to the children of the next oldest sister.

Note on The Mountain (Optional): Although it has the appearance of a mountain, it is in fact the calcified and overgrown corpse of some massive and ancient creature (dragon?) that died many thousands of years ago. The special "emerald" in the royal pendant, is not an emerald at all but a crystalized drop of that gargantuan creature's blood. By carrying it with them over several hundred generations, the royal family have entered into a strange symbiotic relationship with this relic. On the one hand, the emerald appears to be gaining sentience from its exposure to the royals (it communicates with them in thoughts and feelings) while on the other, the royals appear to be changing. It's not just their abnormally bright emerald eyes (the brightest of which yet seen are on Kiratama) or the fact that they seem to know where the next mine shaft should go. Rumour has it, it's changing them in deeper, more insidious ways, elongating their bones, hardening their skin...

QuotePairing Option One: Monster x Hunter Looking for someone to play the hunter (loosely Witcher inspired).

Plot: Your character is part of an organization that hunts the things that go bump in the night. After reports of mounting casualties around the country, your character is commissioned to hunt (capture/kill) mine (who looks exactly like a human woman). What begins as a routine mission quickly descends into chaos when your character realizes just how many other hunters and creatures are after my character. In order to survive the night, your character and mine team up.

Pairing Option Two: Monster x Monster

Plot: Your character encounters what he thinks is a wounded human woman and takes her into his home in order to save her life. That night, the house comes under attack from monsters your character has only ever heard of in horror stories. To your character's surprise, the young woman responds by biting her wrist and forcing your character to drink her blood (or taking your character's wrist and biting it, thus injecting some kind of chemical? I haven't decided. Let's discuss). The exchange triggers a monstrous (and probably deeply disturbing) transformation in your character, who goes on a half-conscious rampage against the intruders. In the morning light, our characters sit in shock among the destruction and ponder their new situation.

QuoteMy Character: Looks human, and can transform into something more monstrous at will, though she seldom (if ever) does, since she has almost the same strength and speed in her human form, and it's a lot easier on the eyes (as you can see, even monsters can internalize human beauty standards).

Her species functions like a bee-hive (but they neither resemble bees or act like bees in any other manner): there is a Queen, various 'Virgin' Queens, and Drones. The old Queen (who was probably many, many centuries old) is dead and my character is embroiled in a fight to the death with her sisters for control of the hive. This conflict is fueled by a 'killing instinct' that kicks in between the younger Queens when the Queen Mother dies. The difference between "Queens" and "Virgin Queens" is that a Queen of the species is able to convert humans into "loyal" (but not mindless, stupid or uncomplicated) drones, who are then able to take on a monstrous, supernaturally fast and strong form. This ability to transform others appears at around the 125 age mark, which my character is either just short of, or has just reached. For this reason, my character is either alone or is travelling with only one drone. When your character finds her, she is in hiding/running from her sisters and their drones (as well as the drones belonging to her mother who sided with her elder siblings), all of whom are out to kill her.

Please note: instincts are not destiny. The Queens may feel the urge to kill each other, but that doesn't mean they can't withhold from doing so if they really want to. In the same way, a drone may feel an intense desire to be loyal to their Queen, but that doesn't mean they can't act against this instinct (with effort and willpower). Additionally, my character's "hive" is not the only one in existence, it's just the only one in the area (which might be as large as a continent.) Think Vampire covens.

I feel pretty and witty and bright...}
