Looking for M, F, Doms, Subs, Switch, Lords, Ladies, Lieges and everything else!
Right now the crew is very female. It would be nice to have some guys around.

I am looking to see if there is any interest in a Star Trek themed game. No, this won't be just a sex romp in space (although that isn't out of the question) but there will be an actual plot and story as well.

The game setting will take place shortly after the original series. Although the setting is mostly Trek, there will be no Canon characters. By keeping it original we will have the freedom to let the game progress naturally.

The Federation has survived the Klingon War and the Man-Kzin wars. However all is not peaceful. There is no formal treaty with the Klingons.  Orion pirates and slavers prey upon the space lanes. Kzinti raiders have been attacking remote outposts and settlements.

You have been tasked with returning a cargo of rescued slaves to the Orions and the Kzinti. There you will pick up delegates from each Empire to deliver them to a peace conference in Klingon territory.  Since no one is on particulary friendly terms with the Federation,  the various factions are allowing the Federation to be impartial mediators.

There are those in each faction that do not want peace. Even in the Federation there are those that cannot forgive what happened in the war. Even before you leave the Starbase an act of sabotage damages the ship's transporters causing an accident that can cripple the crew before the mission even begins (potential for some body swap fun).

There is room in this game for many types of characters. In addition to the Starfleet crew. Diplomats from the Orion Syndicate  and an Kzinti Ambassador would be welcome. There are more than enough openings available so I will allow players to run more than one character if they prefer.

Closer to the Prime timeline with the Orion updates elements from Star Trek Continues as well. (Male Orions have overthrown the woman Orions in a civil war and have now actually enslaved the woman.)

Hey, just thought I’d throw down a few thoughts I had on what I’d like to play out in the hopes that this might also play into other peoples ons.

I am liking the idea of duality here. A nature vs nurture, mind vs biology. Against the utopian ideal that is the federation this could be interesting. Sorry rambling. Anyways the notion that the characters minds rule their actions vs their bodies seems key here. Hence the dynamic of any switch.

The Andorian yeomen Polny will be on medical security - training to be in medical (a nurse - but not a nurse -;)). As an Andorian he is typically aggressive and authoritarian. Probably not the best pick for star fleet in general and security in particular. And the medical angle might give things a “one flew over the cuckoos nest” vibe. Maybe he got into star-fleet through underhanded means. But he is there.

The federation would be unaware of Trill symbiotes and symbiosis at this time. There would be a paired Trill in the transporter accident. And Polny would become a Trill - a tadpole-like, quivering, pulsating brain slug thing. And it would have been bonded and need to pair again within 96 hours or die. No trills in this part of the galaxy of course … well …unless…

Either the trill would be paired in a body (think the woman with two brains - two players trying to control one female body? Could work or be a train wreck) or there would be another female Trill on ship. The other Trill would be a nymphomaniac of some historic renown with her urges firmly controlled by medication and pursuing a successful career as a helmswoman. The symbiotic pairing would however over ride the meds and the usual usual hoisting on one’s own petard would ensue.

I might be interested, I'd like to play a Betazoid, either as a first officer or a CMO, either way, she'd be recently promoted to the position, an excellent record, but still a little unsure of herself in her new role.

Sounds like we are getting enough players. I would still like a couple more dominant males to take the roles of the Ambassadors.

Regarding the Trill, I will need some help narratively with that. I don't know enough about them.

There was a Trill symbiote - Dax - in DS9. The symbiotes are long lived and it’s an honour for a Trill to be a host.

Right now it looks like we have three, including myself. I am still willing to move forward on this, but I won't be able to handle all the npc's myself. I can cover most the characters, but For example, if I am running two characters that end up in the same scene, I don't want to play against myself. I would need someone to step up in those cases and play the needed role.

If we can agree to that, I am willing to move forward and start with a character thread.

Yup. I've used a pic of M'Ress after she was transported to the post-DS9 era, I think to the Excaliber. She looks amazing in a real uniform. :)

I don't mind running NPC's for you, or pick up one or two Male roles until we have players to fill them. Though it might lead to scenes of me arguing with myself.

I would like to avoid that situation as well. It may mean that some players will have to share some npc's to avoid that happening.
