A Touch of Magic

Dr. Stephen Strange was a man that prided his work, as both an accomplished surgeon, and now, as the Sorcerer Supreme. The task he has been given is monumental, and one that has helped in deflating the ego some others had said had inflated with such a choice (Wong particularly). However, Stephen takes the task of keeping the Sanctum Santorum safe from those who would use it, and what was kept within, from harms way. All he’s known is the Sanctum, taking time for himself to go out into the city when he could, and yet, at night when he drifted to sleep, something poked and prodded at his mind.

A dream, one that kept repeating each night.

A dark force, a presence unlike something he had encountered, slithering it’s way into the deepest tresses of his mind. It wanted something, something that only he knew the answer to, and yet, every moment he would prepare to strike, the nightmare dissipated in a rough awakening of sweat and heavy breaths. What was it that was plaguing his mind, what was the presence that was so desperately attaching itself to him, and why did he always see an unknown figure within it all, calling his name?

Hello! This is a rough idea for a Dr. Strange type one shot idea with another writer! I’m actually looking for someone to help play Stephen Strange, as well as bounce ideas off with, and shape the story into something that we could both enjoy plotting and writing together!

Basics of the story would revolve around Strange encountering this nightmare each night, looking into possible magical oddities or sources to bring about the answer of what is trying to enchant his mind. The idea can be discussed with more ideas and plots, as I’m open to chatting and discussing!

I would like to play a character that I would create for the story, and with accepting, I would love to discuss ideas as to what we could do with character ideas, and where the plot would go! I would love to play some form of a female sorcerer that could either help Strange through the process, or maybe even be a part of what is happening that could help aid him in his journey to find the source of the nightmares!

Other Notes

-Can help play NPCs and other notable characters if needed! I’d expect this of my writing partner as well!

-Story could be romantic if we wanted, open up for discussion!

-OC would be female preferably.

-Prefer writing partner to be literate and to write at least two paragraphs per reply! I am a literate writer and take great pride in my writing, and I would only expect the same of the partners I write with!
