can't upload picture

I keep trying to upload a picture to the galleries, but I keep getting 'incompatable file extension' messages. It's a .jpg, by the way. What's up with this?

It might be having trouble trying to make a thumbnail of it if it's not a 'proper' .jpg

I'm guessing that a .bmp made with MS Paint and renamed into .jpg won't work then?

How could I make it work?

Err, no ^_^  I thought coppermine supported bmps, but they're rather large anyway.  You really should get a converter program to save it under .jpg or .png
