Shadows over the Twin Cities

A V20 system based game (roll light) with the setting of Minneapolis and St. Paul in Minnesota.  Divided by the Mississippi river they are also different territories with Minneapolis referred to as the “Mini Apple” controlled by the feudal domain of Prince Cassandra Galanis with the backing of the primogen council and her own right to domain.  Across is the more democratic and less structured group of Anarchs that hold St. Paul and have a Baron elected as their voice in matters but unable to lord power over them without major consequences.  The years have passed by with a terse peace between them but with the new discovery of the Harpy Frederica Callion, of the Camarilla, put into torpor in the middle of the downtown streets and then murdered while awaiting retrieval in the city’s morgue there seems to many eyes on those across the river.  What will be done?  Will there be war finally or are there other powerful players in the shadows looking to make a move when both sides are too busy staring at one another?  Come take part in the chronicle and help shape the future of the Twin Cities under such exciting times in a kindred society that had felt so stagnant under recent decades.   

The game will start with a Camarilla centric lean with other options such as independents and Anarchs opening with expansion.  There will be an Age system in effect for character creation and scaling for those that wish to insert themselves into the meat of the political structure of the Camarilla out of the gate.  This will come with some explanation and background reasoning to fit into the setting but the STs will communicate and try to find a place for those experienced players that want to try their hand at being something above an up and coming neonate.  There is still plenty of place for the neonate trying to find their way in the new life of nights only for eternity.  There will be no playable elders but a scale from newly embraced to ancilla present in the game.  Players will help dictate the tone of this game ranging anywhere from mystery to sprawling dystopian nightmare based on their decisions and their interests.

I do have a character in mind that I've been wanting to play, and I think she'd fit in here rather well.  She wouldn't quite be a neonate, but she would still be trying to find her way somewhat, and I do like the idea of delving into mysteries.  :)

Thanks for the interest, if we gain enough we plan to drop the character sheet, creation rules, and age guide with a recruitment thread.  If you need a picture or face claim I am sure there is someone who could help around here, even myself in a pinch.
