Hockey Night In Canada [Seeking M Character]

The story would center around a young man who goes back to visit his hometown. He’s now a made man in the NHL, and while most of his graduating high school year friends have moved on and away, he meets up with a young woman who always had a crush on him since high school. He brushed her off way back then, politely. However, now, she’s not the ugly and awkward duckling she used to be in grade eleven. Instead, she blossomed into a striking woman and over the years, has gained confidence making her more attractive, and remains single.  Would she still be interested in him after all these years?

I’m seeking a partner (of any gender) who has insight to Hockey, the culture around it, and likewise is familiar with Canadian culture, and with either Ontario or Quebec or Atlantic Canada. I’d appreciate a partner who is willing to discuss story arcs, characters, and ideas.
Please be aware that this would be a slower paced game because of my work schedule and health conditions.
