The Pitch

It's a Magical Girl RP! Dressed in lace and frills and armed with magic, a select few Magical Girls battle the supernatural evil spirits that rampage unseen by most mortals. When I think of Magical Girls I do think anime and I do imagine a japanese high school as the setting of the RP. Whether the magical girl transforms in the real world, or steps into an alternative dimension or spiritual plane, our magical girl may come into conflict with spirits, demons, witches, and perhaps, ill-intentioned humans.

I do find NC an effective, and deliciously kinky alternative to death as consequence for failure, so would love to include it. NC: Exotic, to be particular, to accommodate monsters, demons, and tentacles, though I won't object to NC: Human if it comes down to it. Other kinks might include (but shall not be limited to): fantasy combat, fantasy violence, humiliation, abuse, corruption, gangbangs, clothing damage, and death and "respawn." I'm not into extreme graphic violence and gore, though I will not shy away from blood in combat or gore in non-sexual contexts.

GM's: We can use a system or go freeform, whatever the GM prefers.

Post Length
Consider two to three solid paragraphs minimum. Longer is appreciated when you feel so inspired and I will generally match what I'm given.

Post Rate
These days I'm a little inconsistent in this area, so I've become just as flexible. I can sometimes keep up to a daily pace, while other times I won't be able to return to E between 6-12ish days. My ideal partner would feel comfortable, life permitting, to respond to most posts within 14 days or less. If you expect much more than that it may or may not prove to be a dealbreaker, depending on other factors. Please let me know what you are anticipating up front.

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!
I absolutely require a pictures in every post! Character portraits minimum, but maps, scenery, and sexy positions are sometimes appropriate. I know this requirement will limit interest but images really do a lot for me. I am happy to share my relatively organized databases on pinterest, or offer some images as needed to fit certain characters as they come up.

Character rosters in the first post for reference are doubly appreciated.

Misadventures and NC content
I'm going to be insisting on NC content here - with a variety ranging from mild to more extreme. Sometimes our heroine will emerge from danger unscathed, and on rare occasion she may be beaten down, captured, and abused for days. The exact details of our kinks will absolutely be discussed beforehand.

I also like to pay attention to clothing destruction, management, and salvage~

Romance
Though not necessary here, should it come up I typically prefer FxF - but not exclusively. The occasional male character will interest me, but I'd very much prefer to discover that in-game rather than plan a FxM romance ahead of time.

Our Heroine
Strong: someone who struggles to the bitter end and doesn't give up after a few failures.
Innocent: someone who doesn't treat sex casually and typically begins the RP a virgin.
Attractive: someone who is probably a little young and naive.
Corruptible?: someone who may gradually succumb to desire the more she is forced to surrender to it.

World-building
I'm happy to help as much or as little in the world-building as you like. I'll offer thoughts and ideas as they come to me, and will otherwise follow your lead here.

Non-minimalistic PM's
I much prefer shorter frequency and higher productivity per message, particularly as we plan things out prior to the beginning of the RP. It's a real turn-off to put a lot of work into a PM trying to build a world and get a one-liner response, or any response that doesn't progress the planning of the game with any thoughts for me to respond to in my expected reply. As I see it, little engagement in planning foreshadows little engagement in RP.

Setting and Lore
Below you'll find my ideas on how a magical girl setting might work. Feel free to use any of it you find useful and toss out any aspects of it you're not particularly fond of.

Setting
Japanese High School.
Modern Day, Supernatural.
The realm of the living is influenced and affected by an unseen adjacent realm of spirits, magic, and demons.

The Spirit Realm
The Spirit Realm appears as a place of eternal night and a blood red moon. It is closely linked to the realm of the living, otherwise known as the Mortal Realm, taking on its physical appearance and landscapes. Though most mortals cannot perceive spirits in the Spirit Realm, spirits perceive the Souls of mortals as small blue flames. When experiencing strong emotions, Souls produce positive or negative energy that nourish the spirits of the Spirit Realm.

With few exceptions, neither Soul nor spirit can be truly destroyed, merely weakened or transformed.

Lesser Spirits
Lesser Spirits are spirits who exist only to scavenge the small traces of energy more powerful spirits leave behind. They are simple-minded creatures, but they will slowly grow into something more as they consume energy. Time slips by quickly for these spirits, who often take hundreds to thousands of years to consume enough energy to acquire intelligence.

Guardian Spirits
Spirits that consume positive energy become Guardian Spirits. They often become protectors of individual living souls, but few instead take up a greater cause to maintain balance between the two realms. Their powers are limited, but they are essential to the stability of both realms.

Evil Spirits
Spirits that consume negative energy become Evil Spirits. These spirits gain both greater power and hunger in equal measure. In order to sate this hunger they actively seek to influence the mortal realm to farm more and more negative energy. Evidence of their activities often are reported by mortals as the work of ghosts, but spirits take many different forms and seek to feed on negative energy in as many different ways.

Yokai
The only being that upsets the balance more than a rampaging Evil Spirit is that of a Yokai. When an Evil Spirit consumes a Soul they become a Yokai. When a Soul is filled with hopelessness or despair, they become vulnerable. A vulnerable soul can be possessed by spirits, and a dying vulnerable soul can be consumed by Evil Spirits powerful enough to withstand the Souls flames. Once they transform into a Yokai they gain a physical body and the means of entering the Mortal Realm to create and harvest more and more negative energy. Their physical form also makes them immunte to a Magical Girl's purification abilities, though, unlike Evil Spirits, they can be killed instead.

Magical Girls
One of the most effective ways for Guardian Spirits to maintain balance is to recruit Magical Girls to fight out of control Evil Spirits on their behalf. There are a number of factors that influence any living souls candidacy, but the purity of their Soul is chief among them. Once a mortal agrees to forge a bond with a Guardian Spirit, they gain the ability to disconnect their Soul from their body. By doing so, they step into the spirit realm in a new transformed body they can use to restore balance between the two realms.

Transformation
In the Spirit Realm, a Magical Girl's Soul takes on a physical form with new dress, enhanced physical abilities, and access to a single elemental magic of fire, ice, water, lightning, wind, or earth. This form has the vitality of the Magical Girls Soul, completely separate from that of their original physical form. Injury, or any loss of physical virginity, sustained in the Magical Girl form does not transfer to the original body and recovers naturally when not in use. When a Magical Girl is defeated, their Soul is weakened, returning to its original physical body to recover.

Witches
When a Magical Girl embraces darkness, their purity is corrupted and their bond with their Guardian Spirit is forever broken. They lose their Magical Girls abilities, but they gain the ability to harness dark magic, to turn negative energy into magical strength. Though they can still maintain their original bodies to return to the mortal world, many instead make permanent residence in the Spirit Realm.
