The Healer's Savior F 4 M (hurt/comfort - high fantasy)

Hey there I'm Star, and I'm currently craving a storyline/game that's a bit different. I don't know if many are aware of the infamous light novel/anime 'Redo of Healer', but basically it's a rape and revenge story where the main character takes back the trajectory of his own story and takes revenge against the tyrants that abused him daily for nearly four years. It's... not for everyone. However, the concept did make me think. Was there truly, no one, and I mean, no one that was put off or even disgusted by his treatment? Did he really have to go off the deep end and become an, arguably, bigger monster than the people that victimized him?

What if there was someone that cared, maybe someone that was just as fed up after witnessing his torture? What if someone intervened/ran away with him and helped him heal? A healer for the healer, so to speak. Ahem.

To keep this brief - I would love to play out a similar storyline, where a captured magician or healer type character is finally rescued from his misery and slowly heals from his trauma with the aid of my female knight/fighter or defensive mage-type character. We can start from the very beginner, where she's hired as a mercenary within his band and straight away notices something's up with how he's treated and does not give into pressure as far as abusing him even further/was forced to, which gives them both a shared, horrible experience that inspires her to steal a horse in the middle of the night and free after what felt like forever. How would that first taste of freedom feel?

As he slowly grows within his own abilities and begins to trust her, will he be able to shake that anger and hate towards his/their tormentors and live an actual life again, or will he be too hell bent on making them pay? And more importantly, just how deep will this bond between the moralistic fighter and the man who's life she saved, really is?
