Miss Eleanora

Here is my work in progress sheet as well!

Character Name: Adelia
Race: Human
Nickname: (None at present)
Gender: Female
Primary Sexual Characteristic: NA
Age: 19

Class(es): Ecclesitheurge Cleric
Level: 1
Rank: Wood
Sheet: https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=2395174

Personality: Adelia is genuinely good hearted and unfortunately a bit on the naïve side. She is passionate about helping others and serving the faith, bringing healing, light, and protection to those who struggle against the monsters outside civilization's borders. Her naivety tends to manifest in her belief that people of the civilized races are inherently good, since the monstrous races that inhabit the world are uniformly inherently evil. It's an understandable, if erroneous view. She is very upbeat, cheerful and a positive minded companion who tries to avoid letting anything get her down. How well that will hold up once she witnesses scenes of torture and twisted evil, who can say.
Alignment: Neutral Good
History: Adelia was born to and raised by a family prominent in the priesthood of the Goddess Ellea. She was brought up in the faith and her formative years were full of stories of the great heroes of the faithful, who had gone forth to help and protect those in the outlying villages and towns more distant from the holy city. Despite being warned regarding the dangers, particularly given her own talents were less than impressive at martial combat, Adelia has been determined to take after those storied heroes of the faith, and has gone forth as an adventurer. She will heal and support and bring the light to those who struggle in the darkness. It is after all her calling!

Adelia's aunt, her mother's elder sister, is the High Priestess of Ellea and the religious and secular ruler of the holy city. Adelia has some connections as a result.

God's Name: Ellea

I think you might have missed my questions and post in your reply. '^^
Ah yeah, sorry about that! Those domains and the goddess behind it definitely work! I like what you have so far for your character.

Character Name: Lucile Aethera (Last name is drawn from the Aetherius Monastery she grew up in)
Race: Elf (Half high elf half drow)
Nickname: None yet
Gender: Female
Age:21

Class(es): Unchained Monk
Level: 1
Rank:Wood
Sheet: Mythweavers sheet

Personality: Reserved, guarded and sometimes even plain distrustful to strangers, immaculate appearance with deep passion hidden within. Only friends and longtime companions get to see her wild side. To the world, she shows only the facade, the role of the perfect and perfectly disciplined disciple. Free spirited and headstrong, but careful about creating an opinion and trying to be free of prejudice. Impulsive, especially under pressure. A little bit of a dramaqueen.
Alignment: Lawful Good
History: A living, breathing contradicting, Lucile is the offspring of a highelven mother and a darkelven father. Born in secret and left on the stairs of a monastery, she grew up in incredible discipline and strict rules, learning the way of the fist from the monks who eschewed killing and avoided fighting wherever possible, she was more than just a troublemaker to the monks, a real distraction for them because of her strong emotions and impulsive behavior which meant that her having a crush on someone would rarely go unnoticed and end just as seldom without a scene. Thus it was propably understandable that the monks were relieved when she announced on her twentyfirst birthday that she would leave the monastery and become an adventurer. She could follow the longing in her heart.

Yay! :D This seems like it will be a lot of fun. I also included some tidbits, thinking that given Ellea's portfolio and role as a big good goddess that there is a holy city dedicated to her that is the center of her faith. That happens to be the city Adelia comes from. If anything I wrote doesn't work for you, please let me know?

Good morning!

I fell asleep before i could express interest last night.  This game looks great.  Let me clean up from breakfast and I'll make an application.  :)  (Maybe an alchemist?)

Oh!  Do characters have names in this setting?  Or is it like Goblin Slayer where everyone is known by their occupation or a title once they distinguish themselves?

Edit: Never mind, found it.  :)

I look forward to it! And yeah, you will have names just to make it easier/less awkward to RP with, but you will get "title names" along the lines of Goblin Slayer.

Woo! A quick question. Can we use backgrounds or are those something we are not using?

If not, then Adelia's sheet should be all set!

Also there are no divine fighting techniques for staves. Which is awkward given that's her divine favored weapon. :(

Petrus02

I'd love background skills. Craft, profession and such are things one never sees actually being taken unless background skills are in effect^^
Would actually like for Lucile to be a mason but... skillpoints XD

Silim

Know what, good point! Let's add to the houserules: We're using Background skills and classes with 2+int skill ranks get 4+int skill ranks.

FoxgirlJay

Updated my sheet with Background skills change, and finally picked my FC bonus. Think I'm all ready to go now.

Alrighty. I added in the additional skill points, noted Adelia had cleric as her favored class. Went with giving her a bonus skill point. :) Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the full sheet, and hope she can make the game!

Muse

I have two concepts, and I'd love feedback on which you'd prefer--or would fit better, or would fit the concept better.

Character Name: Akari (Subject to change with race.)
Race: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Halfing, Half-Elf?
Nickname: Firebug.  Transcendental Girl Akari
Gender: Female
Primary Sexual Characteristic: Female
Age: 19

Class(es): (Transcendental) Alchemist 1
Level: 1
Rank:  Wood
Sheet:

Personality: Ogenki desu.  Akari is cheerful and perky and likes to make people smile.  She's become an adventurer for a lot of reason.  She wants to be a hero and believes in heroic things--protecting the innocent avenging injustice.
She's also a thrill seeker, even an adrenaline junky.  She really gets off on battle, on refining volatile chemicals right up to their purest point, knowing one more drop might make it explode.  Climbing rocks, clinging to the backs of fast horses, tinkering with unknown magical items.
She also adventures for science!  She worships a minor benevolent goddess of magic and artifice who teaches humanity that through learning and ingenuity we can make life better in all ways--especially in fighting the monsters!
Alignment:   Chaotic Good
History:         Akari Taefaeli (Elven for Leaf Shadow) is a high elf born in the city of Arakiir.  Emphatic, compassionate, and fun loving, Akari learned early on that different people aged at different rates.  Akari kept the courage to love even when so many of her friends grew up and went away or even died in a few scant decades.  Akari also learned that the best way to deal with the sorrow of  almost friend was to make a new friend.  The best way to make friends, she found, was to smile.  Be cheerful and happy.  Show interest in the things people did and--if they made you happy--let them know.  As a result Akari has cultivated an unquenchable good cheer that occasionally borders on--if not insanity--at least parody.

Intelligent, curious, and whimsical, Akari could be annoying to adults who had work to do.  One day saw a fireworks display and pleaded with the illumination to show her how he did it.  He was a gnome named Ahvalor T. Tabernacle, a Transcendental Alchemist retired from adventuring.  After a couple of minutes of questions, the gnome held up a hand and said, “Wait.”

Somewhat to his surprise, the talkative child obediently held still and quiet for almost fifteen minutes as he prepared a delicate preparation.  Once the sky flower was finished, he turned on his stool and looked down at the child.  “Fetch a stool and sit with me, child.  Akari Leafshadow, right?”

When she'd done this, he said, “You have three questions.  If they interest me, I will answer them all to your satisfaction and give you a chain of firecrackers.  If they're boring to me, I will give you three short and honest answers and then you will leave me in peace.  Do you understand?”

The little elf's eyes widened, but she nodded.  Then she thought intensely for over a minute before asking her questions...

A week later Akari was Ahvalor's favorite apprentice.  It was he who introduced her to the philosophy of the goddess Tamago.

Today, Akari is 110 years old, an elf just come of age.  For the reasons discussed above, she had decided long ago to become an adventurer.  In fact, she'd tried twice in the last three years to get in early by lying about her age.

Character Name: Quintessa
Race: Elf
Nickname: Prima Dona
Gender: Female
Primary Sexual Characteristic:
Age: 111
Class(es): Psion (Kineticist)
Level: 1
Rank: Wood
Sheet: Forthcoming

Personality: Tessa's mother Natasha had a bit of a troublesome youth.  She tapped into little understood psionic powers with voice and emotions.  After getting a grip on these powers, she spent a few years as an elven adventurer, but eventually traveled to the big city to pursue a vocation in human music.
Tasha's daughter was raised in the opera house.  Sometimes Tessa was saddened at how quickly her friend's grew up and even died, but she had her music and she had friend's who understood her.  She got to play many rolls in her childhood and adolescence, from princesses to peasants to priestesses, adventuring girls to love sick farm girls.  She studied swordsmanship--both with her mother and under human fencing instructors--and learned both to perform with the blade and actually fight.
Tessa shared her mother's gifts with psionics as well as music.  With her mother's instruction and some guidance from adventurer's she gained a more intellectual understanding of her powers.  She learned greater variety, more quickly. Like her mother, she learned to use music not just as an art, but also as a weapon.
Now that she has reached her 111th birthday, Tessa has joined the adventurer's guild to live some of the heroic legends she's sung over the years.  She's going to truly be a hero.  The moment she declared herself at the adventurer's guild--a petite elven maiden in a black dress and lace gloves--even with a great deal of dubiousness in the eyes behind the desk, she knew what she was...
And who she was.  "Quintessa of the Globe Opera House.  I have coem to join the adventurer's guild.  I am a first level kitenticist.  You may call me Prima Dona."
Alignment: Chaotic Good.  As Prima Dona's name implies, she can be a bit self absorbed and see herself as the hero of the show, but this does not change the goals of a hero.  Nor does this change the fact that she is a genuinely compassionate person who wants to make the world a better place.
History:  See above.

I really like the sheets and characters we got so far from everyone.

pdragon, I'm going to warn you that the Holy Gun Archetype is actually incredibly bad and doesn't even work RAW (you can't use Smiting Shot at all until you actually get Grit...), so if you want to play a nun with a gun, you might have to look at other ways, like taking one to five Gunslinger levels and going into Paladin then.

Muse, both of your characters could be interesting! Really it comes down to if you'd rather be a more hyper member of the group, or not, and I personally like both classes. Still, I think for my personal preference, Akari wins out.

Well then.

I have like four different characters I'm considering but right now the one I'm leaning most towards is a Hangover/Reach cleric.

Well, you get 1 grit from the gunslinger feat, but it is still balls that you dont get more (outside of feats) until 11th.

Planting a flag, gonna roll stats and figure out sheet when I get home from shopping.

It was brought to my attention that you rerolled your first set of stats despite them being PB17 equivalent. You'll have to use those, as you only get your reroll if you're below PB 17.

Ok I think I've made some pretty good progress on this!  Still a few details on the character sheet I need to figure out though.  I hope her slightly odd way of communicating doesn't feel like it's too disruptive, I think it sounds like a fun challenge but I'm happy to rework things.  I also wasn't sure if there was a specific art-style we are aiming for, I don't mind finding a different image.

I'm totally open if anyone wants to establish some previous connection between our characters!

Character Description

Character Name: Tahl
Race: Half-elf
Nickname: Whisper
Gender: Female
Primary Sexual Characteristic: Female
Age: 20

Class(es): Psion (Telepath)
Level: 1
Rank: Wood
Sheet: (Nearly done) Mythweavers id = 2395164

Personality: Tahl, due to the nature of her communication, is very reserved.  Since she is unable to speak out loud she communicates mainly with her Mind Link ability to one individual at a time.  It is restrictive but she hopes that more experience will broaden her options.  Preferring to step back and observe silently, Tahl has to carefully choose her words and to whom she directs them.  She can feel isolated and detached in large groups, but is loyal to individuals whom she trusts.
Alignment: True Neutral
History: Tahl's family runs a small inn and tavern located near one of the old and untamed forest in the north. Throughout her childhood the shadowy depths winding through the enormous trees provided a constant backdrop.  Workers at a number of logging camps would often frequent the establishment, and they brought with them stories of strange things found deep in the woods.  To an 8 year old Tahl the allure of these mysteries proved too strong.  Sneaking away one day she ventured too deep and became lost in the forest's grip.  The next morning she was found wandering dazed out of the tree line and since that day she has never spoken a word.  Whatever took her voice also stimulated an inclination towards communicating through Psionics however, taking her down a path that has now led to finding work with the Adventurer's guild.

Quoted for truth. Art always ends up at least a bit clashy because everyone has some different images for characters. :) I like the sheet btw!

Haha, it does sometimes feel like race to set the tone.  Thank you!  I like yours too, if we both go with Psions I think I saw that Telepathy has a power for cooperative manifesting.

Ohhh, I see that now.  I didn't notice that you were quoting someone else!  o_o;  I definitely like yours too though, (I stole your formatting work when I started putting my post together) it's a clever way to mix in some naivety in a setting with such grim tones.
