The tweaked Usagijin Skeleton Key template that I made/used was 61 points; her final point tally is 96.

Yes, both Koro and Praetorian are 96 point characters; I believe that's what Muse is building towards, as well.

Edit: Listening to my Koro soundtrack, and now I'm more keen than ever to play her. Here's hoping we find a GM soon who wants to pick up the game we've suggested here.

So looks like I will be bringing to the table a Gate Guardian/Tech genius from the world of Imago. I am thinking they have done some watching of the gate  in the popular vr game Ikarion. This Gate Leads to Ikarus.

Someone expressed interest in running this, but is unfortunately unable to commit to it. So we're still searching!

At this time, TheHangedMan and myself are running through our backstory as a solo RP, but that's just so that our character histories and experiences together are a little more fleshed out. Once we're concluded, or even before we are, we will hopefully have a GM ready to run the game properly.

In older editions of BESM, only the highest cost weapon atribute costs full price.  Each aditonal weapon atribute cost 1/2 that.  is that still a thing?

Malkavian, Hanged Man, do either of you ever run? I know M.R. does.  Maybe we could do a trade?  I can try and run this (if you'll be patient with me!)  Can one of you three run something I can be the player in in exchange?  I love M.R.'s games but I've played with them a lot, so maybe one of you two would consider it?

I've run one or two things over the years, but I'm not particularly confident in my skills (especially since the games I have tried to run were either freeform or a playtest for a system I was working on).

  Yep, that's you Jen.  Glad to see you. 

  So, I've started tackling the game  mechanics for BESM 4th edition.  It looks like you roll 2d6+Modifier, either a against a difficultly or in a contested roll. 

  Actions (and character abilities) can work the rolls in their favor in two ways.  One way is to adjust the modifiers.  The other way is to get a minor or major advantage or disadvantage.  When you have a minor advantage, you roll 3d6 instead of 2d6 and take the best 2.  Minor disadvantage you roll 3d6 and take the worst 2

I'm trying to tie all of us into the plot I'm building, so that all of us are needed for the story to happen. 

I may be drawing heavily on Tammy's backstory for antagonists, but I'm making a story where we have to travel across several worlds in order to succeed, including through locked Gates. 

Malkavian (when you get back to see this) have you defined your six portals yet?  :) 

We'll need a McGuffin to defeat Brandoberis, and I think it was made by the people who created Pratorian.
