This is the newest edition of L5R and I was just wanting to see if there was interest in a small game.  Thinking 3-4 players and start with the Topaz Championship and go from there.  I'm still getting a grasp on the rules and so this would be a very tutorial style game.

I have some familiarity to setting albeit it's over two decades ago when read about setting in one it's rule editions. But I got corebook rules via PDF and want join in as well if possible :)

So that would be five people which exceeds what I wanted.  So honestly I will close recruitment at this point and if you guys want I can just go ahead and make the gaming threads.  We can start with all five and if someone drops out, we will recruit as needed from there if people would like.

Well sounds good maybe start with  an ooc and  Thread that details the  campaign start besides just the  Topaz Championship. Will the pcs be representing different clans or one clan in particular? I only have the ronin book and the core. So I do not know what is in the Emerald Empire book that Fantasy Flight put out despite the brief description I read from the website.

Sounds fine to me, indeed OOC thread would be good start to determine how party is setup; same clan, different clans and connections if any etc.
