Hey folks, the muse is poking at me for new stories so here I am. Before we get started, there's just a few things I'd prefer to let you know up front.

I view RP as a collaborative experience and greatly enjoy getting to mesh with other minds. I tend to favor those who will actively brainstorm with me rather than looking for me to craft an entire plotline and character for them to play for me, or having a fully fleshed out spot they expect me to stuff a character into. I adore well fleshed out characters and settings so I am always up for chit chatting, fluffing, or just tossing ideas back and forth even if they never make it to the page.

That said,iIf you have a posting requirement/need replies in a certain amount of time, I'm probably not the partner for you. Conversely, if you post super slow or infrequently, I don't care, I'm patient. If you like to rush through sex scenes, don't actually like to write romance, drama, or silly stuff, I'm also not the partner for you. I don't mind short posts, especially if we have a quicker back and forth thing going, but not less than a solid two paragraphs, please. Regardless of length, I very much appreciate character development. I am not one of those who believes that plot and smut must be mutually exclusive and most of my stories are meant to include smut/eroticism wherever it fits, however sparing or indulgent that might be.

I write almost exclusively in third person. I prefer that my partners do the same.

I will only write on the Elliquiy forums or Discord.

I usually prefer to play female characters of varying sexualities. I am capable of playing males of varying sexualities as well but whether I will do so depends upon the story and how I am feeling at the time.

Lastly, the ideas presented here are just that... ideas. I try and leave room for things to be added in the brainstorming process so you will not find everything all neatly laid out like a road map to follow. I am open to hearing alternatives and tweaks or oddball inspiration or whatever. That said, I reserve the right to say no thank you to a pitched idea and appreciate when others can conduct themselves with civility. I don't do drama, guilt trips, or bullying.

I have a big big BIG thing for fights for dominance. My characters will generally not just submit because their partner wants or even demands it. Their submission or your character's submission should be earned or, in some instances, just outright taken. I love the clash, the tension, the heated scrabble, the test of wills, the almost forbidden nature of a strong character finding pleasure for the first time in submitting, that moment when they realize that sexual submission does not lessen your strength in any way. It is unbelievably hot to me no matter which side ultimately wins, and a lot of times my characters will gravitate toward pairings that lead to this sort of dynamic.

Can make it so they run in the same circles so its harder to avoid one another and thus harder to keep a secret, or maybe they come from entirely different worlds forcing them to go out of their comfort zone. How to Train Your Familiar

Thank the goddess there were those all to willing to help make sure the princess could actually take care of herself or who knows what trouble she might have been in. Then again, she might not have sneaked her way somewhere she had no business being to be way too nosy and find out why she kept hearing strange noises coming from that building, and why there had been reports of flashing lights and strange noises...

Of course in the process of sneaking in she ends up getting herself into trouble anyway and her attempt to flee the shady looking dudes that come after her see her wind up locked in a pen with a creature she thought had long been extinct. A creature fully representative of her goddess! It must be a sign. Right? Especially since, well, oops... a little blood, some wild magic, and would you look at that... somehow they end up bound together. Heh.

Setting: Can be modern day setting or a more fantasy setting (especially if you choose dragon). Gods, magic, and supernatural creatures exist.

Notes: For this I would ask that your character would have at least two forms, beast and human, but anthro forms (a mix of beast and human) are welcome. This will no doubt include some measure of dominance and submission but does not need to be anything formal and can skew either way depending on your preference. Further plot development is open or the RP can focus on the pairing itself.

Fortune Favors the Bold



Story: A young adventurer of mysterious origins is out to make a name for herself. Along the way she finds a companion and the two become thick as thieves, together getting up to all sorts of crazy schemes. However, their fun is cut short when they mistakenly come into possession of a strange, rare artifact from another plane. They don't know what it does or how it got into their realm but when they find themselves being followed and then ambushed, they figure out that what they hold might be too important to simply hand over.

For the sake of transparency: MC, Bhleu (pictured), will be a swashbuckling roguish type. She left home because she was an outcast--being a mixed blood elf, the result of a terrible attack on her homeland by snake like monstrosities that definitely left their mark upon her. Her eyes are a bit unusual in color, the right eye being dark blue while the left eye is a pitch black void that reacts more like a snake's eye than anything else, as such she often wears an eye patch that also covers the deep blue iridescent scales that bracket her left eye and trail off to her temple. She has more of the same scales going down her spine and in other places on her body in small patches, they are highly sensitive. She also has rather sharp curving fangs (extendable) and a forked tongue that causes her to lisp if she is not careful. Her entire left arm is covered with archaic and esoteric magic symbols tattooed and scarred into her flesh.

Setting: Open fantasy world, influenced by D&D.

Seeking: Looking for someone to play my character's companion/best friend and love interest. I put this in the one shots because I have very few actual expectations outside of craving some adventure and humor. I've been exposed to D&D and it has sparked my muse a bit. I'm open to tweaks in plot--more slice of life or mundane hi-jinks would be fine--or if you have a plot where Bhleu would fit, please do hit me up. I'm open to making this a full on solo.

I would like to keep the romance angle in tact and smut is fine where it fits. The race/appearance/background of the companion is largely open, though I would prefer not to play opposite anything that drips, leaks, oozes, or overly tiny/small species. Genitalia should be at least somewhere in the realm of realistic.

Looking to start up a couple new stories. Below are a few ideas that are meant to be shorter in one way or another. Most are intended to include smut so if that is not your cup of tea, this post isn't for you. Name: Apex

Scenario: Nemesis. She's a hunter's nightmare. A monster so vicious, so crazy, yet so formidable that in just a short time she's become something of a local legend. But she wasn't always that way. In fact, once upon a time she was a hunter herself. One with a mission to put down the creature that had killed her family. Unfortunately, she finds him. Just as he wanted...

Basically, my character is a hunter with a singular obsession: your character. What she doesn't realize is that the obsesssion is mutual. He killed her family and has been stringing her along for quite a few years but finally he feels it is time to take what he wants, she's ready. So the two clash and ultimately my character loses the fight, putting her at the mercy of a monster who has no interest in killing her. He just wants to make her like him, to keep her forever.

Setting: A setting where hunters are built faster and stronger than average humans in order to face the things that go bump in the night.

Requirements:I am Looking for someone to play the male role. The story is intended to be dark but I'm looking for something more creative than straight up torture porn. Does he love her? Want to torment her? Gimmie twisted feels!

Down the Rabbit Hole

Name: Down the Rabbit Hole

Scenario: They've been together for a little while now. They are still learning each other and pushing deeper but the foundations are there. Trust is there. Which is why your character decided she could finally open up about some of the things she likes in the bedroom and some of the things she really wants to try. My character, after some research and soul searching, decides that they are interested to try and fulfill their lover's desires, so they make a date to try.

After a wild night out with his friends, my character finds themself ensconced in a slightly mysterious and provocative world. While there they are more spectator than active participant but there is no doubt that they like what they see. Especially once they lay eyes on your character. Perhaps she's in a scene when he sets eyes on her and there is a moment or two of connection as he watches. Either way, at the end of the night they are left wanting more and decide to venture back again and again looking for the mysterious woman who managed to wake something in him.

Setting: Could be a play party, sex club, one of their homes, or anywhere that makes sense really.

Requirements: Usually stories have an experienced dom with a newer sub but I've been interested in flipping things around for some time now. Looking for someone to play a submissive female character assertive enough to make her needs known. My character will be dominant (or at least will realize they are) but not at all experienced beyond vanilla as I want to see how this sort of dynamic can develop into something fulfilling.

Mail Order

Scenario: He's appeared in her dreams nearly off and on over the past few months. At first he just watched. Waited. Then he seduced, called, and lured. Sometimes they talked and sometimes there were no words between them. But last night... last night she finally ventured close enough for him touch and it was almost overwhelming. She didn't give him what he wanted, what he craved, but she knows he'll be back. He's left her marked as his and his alone and she's not sure if its anticipation, fear, or anger she feels...

So my character is a Fae Prince (Unseelie) who has been bound and imprisoned by a usurper that wants to take over the throne. He cannot break free of his prison at present but was able to find a way to get some of his magic free. Magic that is further fed by lust and sexual energy. Essentially, your character is all that is sustaining him right now. If he is to have any chance to break free he needs her to give in or else he may truly begin to fade.

Setting: Modern & Magical Realms.

Requirements: Would like someone wanting to play the female character. May be human or other so long as they are humanoid. I'd prefer if she had a little attitude/bite/sass/backbone and didn't just fold the minute he breathes in her direction. They talk and interact so he is slowly becoming not a stranger but the idea is that they get pulled into something more than a mere sexual transaction. He is bound by certain rules as well, namely the fact that he cannot just take but must be offered whatever it is he wants freely. Wasn't sure how this would stand up as a full one on one so I put it here but I am willing to expand upon the idea if it works out well.

I Hate You So Much

Name: I Hate You So Much

Scenario: These two can't stand each other. Teachers/bosses love to make them work together for some reason but most of their peers know better. It's a never ending fight.

But they don't realize the that all that pent up frustration has to go somewhere before they explode. Something they find out one day when they both stay behind to finish a project and tensions finally boil over.

Setting: School or Office setting. Can move locations but usually inconvenient spots.

Requirements:Looking for a player to play the male or female role. Not gonna lie, its primarily smut but I'm willing to mix in some feels to give a little more substance!

A Matter of Control

Name: A Matter of Control

Scenario: Your character has been working here for a while. They're a great worker, a hard worker, and a team player. They smart and ambitious without feeling the need to throw anyone else under the bus to get ahead. So it should've have been their golden ticket to a great promotion when they finally get a chance to pitch an idea to the boss. Everyone just knew they would be on to bigger and better things.

Unfortunately, they forgot that their boss is a harsh and exacting woman, often to extremes.

Your character's proposal gets turned down based on a series of what ifs that they regard as ludicrous. As a result they don't get the promotion they were after. However, they do get reassigned directly to a team working with the boss where they get a chance to work closely with her. As a result, they get to know the real woman beneath the hard ass exterior and one night, after perhaps one too many drinks at a company dinner coupled with exhaustion, your character's boss reveals that she's tired of always being in control. That for once she wishes she could hand over responsibility to someone else and have a chance to let go...

Setting: Modern

Requirements:I am looking for someone willing to play the role of the employee. The character can be any gender but should be largely dominant in the bedroom. I'm thinking there would be the initial encounter that crosses all the lines but then I would like to also play out some of the aftermath. Do they continue to cross the line and blur the lines between boss and employee, is it outside of work only or do they tempt one another at the office. Is it purely sexual or do they develop feelings? I'm open to brainstorming or just jumping in with minor plotting and seeing what happens.

Every Little Thing You Say

Name: Every Little Thing You Say

Content: F/F or F/Futa, Auralism

Scenario: My character listens to her favorite podcast twice a week. She doesn't tell anybody, not even her girlfriend, but it helps her sleep hearing the voice in the dark conjuring these amazing fantasies. She loves her girlfriend and they are doing just fine in their relationship so far but she's exactly the opposite if what she imagines the podcaster to be like with that sinfully seductive voice and she doesn't want her girlfriend worrying that it means something more than it does. Little did my character know, she had no need to worry about such things, as that the voice that touches her so intimately belongs to none other than her girlfriend.

Setting: Modern

Requirements:I am down to play either a F or Futa character and I don't really have a lot of expectations lined up for this out of the box. It can be serious or silly, definitely should have at least some eroticism but can go a lot of ways.

Requirements:This one is pretty straight forward. I would prefer to play the female omega but could be convinced to play the alpha. Can mix in a touch of feelings for something richer or keep it simple.

Scenario: They don't know each other's name. They don't know each other's occupation, age, background... nothing. Neither one can say for sure how it started, they only know that neither one of them can get enough. And its always the same. No matter where or with whom they start the night, they always end up at the same place on the same night some time after midnight, pressed up against each other in the dark with the music pulsing through them and hands everywhere. Though neither remains long enough to see the lights come up at the end of the night.

Setting: Dark nightclub, can be a sex or BDSM club

Requirements: Am looking for someone to play a male, female, or other character eager to be swept up in the moment. They meet probably once every other week or something and have exchanged very few words over the months.

Scavenger Hunt

Scenario: A couple decide to participate in the club scavenger hunt which involves finding various gear and implements or engaging in various acts on the club's extensive private grounds. Everyone already knows the game isn't so much about winning as it is playing.

Setting: Modern / On private grounds

Requirements: Looking for a partner to play the other half of an established pair. They could be Dom and sub or two switches. The club would have set things up to be safe, so nothing too outlandish or extreme should occur. We can brainstorm the items on the list based on preferences.

Setting: A large luxury cabin in the woods during a lengthy and violent storm.

So... I'd like to try something a little different for someone willing to give it a shot. I would like to write a scene based on one of these pictures:



The story would begin at the moment depicted in medias res and move forward organically. I am willing to write for either role. I'd like to just write without spending a lot of time on plotting. Perhaps a short convo about limits but otherwise I just want to literally jump in ans see what comes out of it. Though note I'm in the mood for an erotic story please.

It's painful but he endures until one night he is presented with an opportunity... It's been a hard hot summer in the city and the strain on the power grid has led to rolling blackouts that leave swatches of the city in heavy darkness through the night. Skylar has opted to turn in early. He knows because he saw her get into bed wearing hardly anything, but because of the heat and lack of AC she was forced to leave the window open...

Setting: Modern / Urban

Requirements: I will be playing the female role. I am looking for someone to play the male (or other) role, preferably dominant. Could take a supernatural angle if that appeals though my character will be human.

Most of the scene will likely take place in the dark, placing the emphasis on other senses. Yes, this plays upon a rape fantasy and while it is about power it should not necessarily be overly focused on hardcore violence. I'm not looking for much in the way of blood or gore. Fear and darkness to add to the scene, yes. Roughness and manhandling, yes please! Maiming or snuff, no. Your character can be as complex or simple as you like. You may craft him prior to beginning play, or as the scene goes along. He may know a lot about my character as hinted at above or if you'd prefer he could know relatively little and have simply crafted a fantasy. I'm looking for something more organic and spontaneous rather than heavily plotted but I like the idea that my character comes away from this experience wanting to know more of her 'attacker' due to some sort of bond formed in the dark--if you like we can even go with a kidnapping to transport her elsewhere and give them more than a single night.

Scenario: Dawn had been an ordinary woman. An intelligent but shy woman with a sweet disposition who'd had trouble asserting herself or expressing her needs and wants clearly to others, even her boyfriend of 5 years.

And then she'd died.

Sorta.

Dawn was attacked one night after work and disappeared without a trace for 2 weeks only to reappear at her apartment as if not a thing was wrong. Everyone had thought she'd just had enough and had needed some time away. Most people had ignored or overlooked the woman anyhow so her disappearance hadn't disrupted much. For those it did disturb, those few who were used to worrying over her or who liked to use her in whatever way they could or boss her around, they were glad to have her back. Because with her back, everything could go back to normal.

Except Dawn was no longer normal.

No longer content to play doormat, Dawn has a plan to make things very clear to a few people... starting with her boyfriend.

Requirements: I will be playing the transformed female role. Dawn will be something more than human (e.g. succubus, demon, vampire, etc.). I am looking for someone to play the male role--someone who maybe had outdated views on gender roles or took Dawn for granted. He wasn't outright a terrible guy but their relationship definitely wasn't always happy.

However, at first glance all seems pretty normal and things seem to go well enough. But then little things keep happening, little slips that allow your character to see past the public persona to the devious vixen... and well, who knows what might happen once her secret is out.

Setting: Modern / AU

Requirements: This is meant to be silly --and likely smutty-- fun. I will retain some measures of realism but really I'm just looking for quicker/shorter, no pressure types of posts (though still well written and not one liners please). Leaning toward wanting my flirty foxy up against someone kinda stuffy and proper or just nerdy and awkward.

Story: Malyna Xerova - Princess and 2nd in line to the crown. When she turned 18 she left her home for parts unknown and no one ever heard from her again. Fast forward 15 years. The royal family has been killed and Malyna is the only Xerova with a legitimate claim to the throne that can challenge the usurpers. Everyone thinks she's either dead or missing but one person happens to know where she is... or at least a way to find her and bring her back to claim what is rightfully hers. And maybe help their country in the process. The problem is, the Princess is not the same naive girl who left.

Mal has grown up and is either an agent of some shadow organization or has become a major player in the dark world of drugs, weapons, etc. Basically, she's not someone anyone would look at and think royalty. But she is royal, and though she left home to do her own thing and swore she'd never go back, she never truly wished ill on her family. Which means someone's got to pay for fucking with them.

Setting: An alternate universe, with a fictional monarchy. Various scenes can move various places. The tech level is modern, maybe some slight technical advancements if you'd like.

Seeking: Someone to play a female character aged 25-35. There are plenty of options as far as the type of character--her current partner, an old friend/the one who helped her leave her country, someone on the opposite side of the law from her with an interest in her country or those who took over, etc.There are really a lot of ways to spin this depending on what you've got a desire to play. Secondary characters and NPCs are totally possible.

Trafficking Magick

Story: Samara Triplett is a sergeant/hot shot detective with the local city police department. However, after a sting gone wrong she finds herself shoved off to the Magickal Crimes Unit--a place where officers careers go to die a horrible death. Underfunded, undermanned, and pretty much the redheaded step child of the police department, the MCU doesn't have many expectations beyond keeping themselves off the radar. However, when a rash of murders begins to plague the city and all seem to have ties to a new artifical magick, Sammi--who has been outed as a natural magick user--is sent to unravel the mystery before it takes another victim. Her investigation leads her straight into the world of the local boss...

Setting: An alternate universe where magick is real, addictive, and a scarce enough commodity to be a business all its own. The story will be able to move about but is centered in a fictional urban city with a dense population. A mix of tech and magick. Other races/creatures do exist but they are the minority compared to humans.

Seeking: Someone to play a man or woman on the wrong side of the law, a mob boss/lieutenant, gang leader... some sort of criminal dealing in illegal magick. Preferably 30-45. I need a partner who will be into the world building aspect as much as the unlikely romance. Secondary characters and NPCs are totally possible.

Home on the Range



Story: Janelle Simon, an orphaned former inner city youth in and out of foster care and group homes. She got in her fair share of trouble in her youth but somewhere along the lines she straightened everything out. Managed to become a cop, a damned good cop. The sergeant is well liked in her community and but her coworkers and superiors. She's not perfect but she's got a stellar arrest and conviction rate and is a woman who lives for the job. Maybe a little too much. After a particularly brutal series of murders, Janelle finds herself the target of a serial killer's obsession, putting herself and everyone she cares about in danger. It seems fantastic luck then when an attorney tracks her down and informs her that she did have family. A grandmother who only recently passed away and has left a working ranch in Montana to her. Upper brass orders Janelle off the case and into protection but she opts to go and visit the ranch instead, figuring it to be safe since no one can connect it to her. Though while she's been known to conquer everything she's tried to tackle before, life on a ranch might be a little outside her skill set.

Setting: A working ranch in middle of nowhere Montana. Small town nearby, the ranch attracts visitors during the summer but is quiet now that its the off season. The house is well kept and cared for, not spanking new but not rundown, however there are plenty of things to do.

Seeking: Someone to play a 30-something ranch hand with enough patience to teach a city girl a new trick or two.

Below you will find the ad I put up for a group game some time back. The group game did not end up going well because I prefer to get to play in the game rather than spend my time guiding, corralling, and doing admin things. However, I do love the setting and my muse seems to really want to revisit this. Soooo, ideally I'd like to find a partner who'd enjoy making use of the setting. We can pick a pairing and tell a long story or hop between characters and tell shorter stories that fill in the town... I'm open to anything (romance, mystery, humor, thriller, horror, smut, and any combination thereof) that will feed my bossy ass muse.

Menagerie

Moonlight Menagerie

The world knows about us. About the supernatural.

The vampires, those narcissistic bastards, they outed themselves in an attempt to get ahead of what they viewed as the inevitable reveal. Predictably, the result was about as dramatic as an atomic bomb. They strove to sculpt their image, to try and tame the human response to the fact that the monsters were real, but instead of a controlled reaction what they got was utter chaos. Fear and persecution was a worldwide trend. Humans might be a bit dense but once their eyes are opened they have a way of seeing far more than they should. Perhaps if the extent of the supernatural community had only been vampires everything might have been okay, or at least it might have rebounded a little easier. However, how do you get a human to rationalize that the big ass scary canine looking thing they saw was really just a dog and they just need more sleep, when they know the monsters are real?

So yeah, the vampires came out, pandering their beauty to the masses, and everyone else was outed too. The fae--though they are much better at hiding than any of us--the witches, casters, sorcerers and various magick users; the weres and shifters, and everything in between. Creatures of myth and magick seemed to be discovered by the day and the next decade or so saw our kind persecuted and hunted like vermin with no laws to protect us. It would take an utter atrocity, a near genocide, before any real change began.

These days, well, it depends where you live but these days our kind are still hunted--though now there are those who fight for our rights, push back from those who would like to see us as they do themselves. Taking up a hunt without going through the proper channels can get you jail time but only because so many wrongly suspected humans, innocents, were being staked, burned, shot and otherwise savaged in the paranoia. Technically we are allowed to defend ourselves as anyone would have the right to do, but if you do so in a way that outs you as a monster... well, you see the problem, right?

Hence places like Menagerie. Safe havens. Homes. Places where we can be ourselves and live our lives without constant fear of a bullet in the back. Menagerie was founded long before the vampires outed the community but due to the odd energies there it seemed to remain its own little secret, safe from outright persecution.

"Menagerie, Louisiana? Oh, yeah, I been through there. It's just the nicest little place. A charmingly sleepy little town with a pleasant population of just under 8,000 and... and... well its just the nicest little place! Its not too far from several centers of activity--I mean New Orleans isn't but a bit of a drive away and, yeah, its just the nicest!"

Most people don't even stop in Menagerie to tell you the truth and those that do usually soon get a hankerin to leave quick, fast, and in a hurry, finding that all they can seem to remember of the place once they've left is that its a nice little place but that there's absolutely nothing of note there. Its small, ordinary, and not at all interesting enough to be noteworthy in any way possible.

Of course, that's to most people. The rest of us, those that are different, more, other... Well, get too close and you'll find yourself drawn in to the energies that gather here. Why is still something of a mystery, mostly because those who go searching don't seem to come back, but there's definitely something about the quiet little town of Menagerie and its inhabitants...

The Supernatural

In the universe the supernatural community is widely diverse and covers more than I have the time and inclination to do here. I am only going to hit the highlights, paying particular attention to the weres/shifters that out story centers around.

Weres/Shifters/Skinwalkers
What they are called depends much on their culture and the origin of their power but the general consensus is that weres are affected by the lunar cycle and generally have only one alternate form (ie. wolf or cat), shifters are not affected by the moon at all and may be able to change forms (ie. can shift into a cat, then a dog, then possibly even another person, etc), and skinwalkers are a different sort of magick entirely that require actual pelts from the animal they wish to change into. There are more intricacies that may arise of course but this is only a guide. The largest difference between the three however is that weres actually carry lycanthropy and can infect another.

Werewolves
Generally bitten, born are extremely rare as they are moon tied and usually require an exceptionally strong alpha or magical intervention to carry a child to term. Pregnancy is only 6 months.
Extremely infectious, a mere scratch infects 75% of the time, a bite 90%. Get messed up more than that and its a done deal.
Heightened speed, senses, strength, agility, endurance, durability regardless of form, though they are generally even more potent in were-form.
May have three forms. It depends on the power level of the wolf in question and power has less to do with age and more to do with some intangible quality in the person. Full wolf is roughly the size of a small pony and every were has this form. Most will also have a third hybrid form that is close to the classic wolfman. Things like partial shifting are also power dependent and tend to be rare, with only the most powerful and *controlled* being able to manage this.

Werecats
Generally born and are far lesser in number than most other types. Bitten survivors are exceptionally rare. It is possible to get savaged by a werecat and survive without infection.
Moon called rather than moon tied, that is to say cats feel the compulsion to shift at the full moon but do not absolutely have to. Resisting is beyond uncomfortable and most tend to succumb unless they have a good enough reason not to (ie. pregnancy)

The Clan of Sekhmet

The Clan of Sekhmet is an old clan whose origins lie in that of strong, proud clan of werelions, however, when they were nearly exterminated and relocated to Louisiana and the site where Menagerie now rests, they became a pan-feline group dedicated to the protection of the land and the mystical energies that pooled beneath it. Theirs is a clan of honor and tradition though they are mostly known by name and myth around the supernatural community. They are tight-knit despite being a mixed clan of several cat species and even moon touched individuals and prefer to keep to themselves. Despite typically being led by a lioness or mated pair of lions, the clan is currently under the rule of a female Khan named Kennedy. They remain small but strong, a true family, but admittedly not much has truly tested them in the last few decades.

The Wild Hunt

While they do not carry any official name, there is a notorious group of wolves who are commonly referred to as the "The Wild Hunt". Strays, renegades, exiles, and ferals--those who cannot blend enough to stay among the humans, and those who think they should not be allowed to--these are the souls usually found loosely bound by the needs of the wolf. They follow an Alpha, though who that is has been known to change rather suddenly and quite violently. Losing 4 Alpha's in the last 6 months is crazy, however, even for them. It seems that someone is hunting them, picking them off one by one and forcing them to move. For what purpose is unknown, as is just who or what is doing it. Looks like coming across Menagerie is a bit of a blessing, it will make it much easier to make a stand at least. Well, once those pesky cats are out of the way anyhow.

Important Terms

Alpha - not just a title, an alpha is the leader of a specific group with psychic bonds or other magic in place to reinforce that. Their word is law and a true alpha has the presence, will, and even might to make that true.

Moon Tied - must shift the night before, the night of, and the night after the full moon.

Moon Called - feel the urge to shift the night before, the night of, and the night after the full moon but do not have to.

Moon Touched - the rare child born to a were (either one parent or both) that has no ability to change forms. These individuals usually retain qualities like that of their animalistic kin like being very agile, fast, or a bit wilder, and have senses above that of a normal human. They may even feel as though they have a beast inside them that simply cannot get out. However, while they may experience minor changes like eye color, teeth, or claws, they will never fully change and cannot be infected by lycanthropy regardless of type because they are already a carrier of the disease.

Give/Take/Call your beast - A true alpha (not merely the carrier of the title but an individual with the power level of an alpha) can call another's beast to the surface either causing them to change (calling the beast) or they can essentially pull away the need to shift in a way that causes them to change in place of the individual. This can be gentle or violent depending on the power level, control, and manner of the alpha.

Dominant - A were whose fight or flight response tends to choose fight first.

Submissive - A were whose fight or flight response tends to choose to flee or seek protection first.

Mate - this is not just a boyfriend or girlfriend or even spouse. Were's can have significant others who are not their mates and love them and be faithful to them, it is not at all uncommon. However, when one finds their mate it can create a deep magical and spiritual bond that provides some advantages, such as being far more aware of one another, being able to share strength, etc. It varies by the pair. Mates are not always hetero matches and do not have to mean a sexual or romantic connection, though most often they do. One sided mating is a rare phenomenon but it has been seen. It is generally hell if some amount of feeling is not reciprocated.

I am of course, able to make new characters if necessary but as this was at one time a group game, I do have a few characters (some were originally NPCs to flesh things out but they have voices all their own) lurking already.
