VtM: Bloodlines [EX] {Storyteller seeking Player for 1x1 System!]

I am looking to run a 1x1 system game using the 20th anniversary edition rules of Vampire the Masquerade, except this will be based in the old Bloodlines videogame world setting. :)

The game will have Extreme elements, and if you aren't comfortable with that, this would probably not be the right 1x1 for you. You'll find a lot more hard info in the world building thread though, so definitely read that first.

I'm ideally looking for 1 - 2 posts a week or so, but honestly my life is hectic and I don't do well with 'minimum' requirements so that's not a hard and fast want of mine. I do not especially care about things like posting length either; I care more about us writing a world that seems fun.

Very likely the opening scene would be your neonate vampire being unstaked and dealt with in Prince LaCroix's Elysium at the Nocturne Theatre. Some scenes might be similar to the videogame, and certainly some in-game quests are things we can pull from, but my goal is also to see what unique mark your character would leave in LA & how their presence might change the NPCs and setting! Ultimately, this is a tale where the player character is the center/star in the middle of many disparate factions.

I prefer prospective players to have at least some familiarity with the V20 system and at least a little familiarity with the videogame. (Normally I am open to people new to one or both, but I don't have as much free time to teach systems and lore right now, so some level of familiarity with both is now a must-have for this plot)

Did you want to side with the Sabbat and play something inhuman rather than trying to cling to your humanity? Want to ally with Andrei or become a smutty victim of his? We can try it!

Did you want to rise in the ranks of the Camarilla and be more than LaCroix's lapdog? That could happen if you stay with the Ivory Tower...

What if you could have saved Primogen Grout? What are the Malkavians around LA even like...?

Or if the Anarchs were less inclined to be your allies at first? Or maybe you want to lead the Anarchs and usurp Nines's place! Could mean a lot of fights, but it could happen!

Want to drag LA straight into the flames of Hell itself, and all factions be damned? Depending on what clan/bloodline you play, you might be able to do that...

Bump! I am seeking a player for this again, but there are a few very important changes from the last time around.

* Mild familiarity with the videogame is now a 'must.' You don't need to have beaten it or exhaustively played it, but it would help me if a prospective player had some basic familiarity.
* Good familiarity with the V20 system is now a 'must.' I sadly do not have time to teach the system at the moment, so prospective players need to already have some knowledge of it.
* Edited my worldbuilding to note two bloodlines I'm more willing to allow as playables: Baali and Salubri.
* I may potentially be willing to alter the game's premise and let you play the ghoul of a major Storyteller NPC instead. This would require discussion beforehand.
* My O/Os have slightly changed, so the link to them in this thread is updated for my new O/O thread.
