Kat moved to the island just a few months ago, having been in a relationship with someone who wanted to settle there and take their relationship to the next level.  However, their relationship didn't survive a 24/7 arrangement and he moved away, but she decided to stay.  As unfortunate as the ending of their love affair was, she was grateful to have found a place where she finally felt she belonged.  She didn't have to feel trapped in her role as an adult when she wasn't at home, and there were others around who she could freely discuss things with.

She got a job working as a barista at Fig + Sparrow, and rents a little one-bedroom apartment.  She loves being able to go swimming in the mornings, or hiking around the island on her days off.  But, despite how happy she is, she misses having someone to spank her when she's been naughty and help to remind her to do laundry or make her bed.
