Hello!
I'm looking for a partner(s) to do some role play with!
It's been at least a year since I did anything serious/lengthy with a partner, and I'm looking to freshen up my skills!

What I hope for in a partner:
- Open communication! This is very important! If you aren't feeling something, or if I did something wrong/that you don't like, I can't fix the problem if I don't know about it. I also respect if you get bored and want to leave. Please, all I ask is that you give me a heads up!
- Activeness Please let me know how active you will be. Or if you need a break, just let me know. I promise I'm pretty easy to work with.
- Two Solid Paragraphs I would love a little substance. I find it very difficult to write in response to two or three lines.
- Original Ideas What I mean by this one, is you are able to come up with your own responses without worrying if I like them or not. It's your story as well as mine. I will play off you.

What I can give as a partner:
- Chat I love new friends and I love talking about things. I can be chatty, or I can just give you the posts. Up to you!
- Respect I value and respect my partners. I will give you my time, energy, and care. I will listen to your feedback, and I will adapt to what you need with a hope that you will do the same.
- Responses I'm fairly quick to respond to things. I have a bit of time on my hands, so I can be relatively quick. If for some reason I am unable to post for a few days or more, I will give you notice in advanced.

At this time of posting, I am an unapproved member and cannot do Adult Role plays. I respect that we avoid anything over PG13 for the time being. Thank you

Things I like to write about!
Book series (Caraval, Red Queen, Harry Potter, etc)
Magic/Fantasy
Werewolves
Fairy Tales (with or without twists)
Arranged marriages
Music
Mythology

Even if things aren't on my list, propose something, and I'll look at it and give it my consideration!

Thank you!

Hey there! I would absolutely be interest in doing some kind of fantasy themed role-play with you. I am constantly buzzing with ideas drawn from the media I consume. I absolutely love going into detail when it comes to character interactions and most of my role-playing takes place in the form of long dialogues and scripts. One of my favorite parts of building a new role-play is working with a partner to create the conditions for both characters to meet.

For something more specific I've been pondering over what aspects make a person seem to be heroic and I've been inspired to create a series of unlikely heroes. People who take part in heroic actions and outwardly are viewed as heroes even though they each have their own motives and hangups that are not for the greater good.

Examples of these unlikely heroes are...

Xecks. Undead sorcerer obsessed with divinity. He chooses to save people and perform heroic deeds because in his mind it will give him the followers needed to become divine.

Zeremon. The guy I chose my username from. He is a humanoid plant possessed by the desire to wander the world in search of a challenge. Technically classified within my world as a walking god he acts to empower those who are weak and still willing to fight for themselves. He rejects divinity seeing the gods as puppeteers abusing their power over mortals.

Valuk. Cursed to become a shape-changer. She is listless and lost, changing appearance and form to suit her needs. She harbors a boisterous personality juxtaposed by a crippling indentity crisis as when she was cursed she forgot what her original form was and she never feels that the person she sees in the mirror is her.

I adore creating characters and settings to match them. Hopefully this is detailed enough for consideration!

I find that to be very interesting and something I've never done before. Valuk seems a lot like one of my characters, Findabhair, who was essentially brainwashed after being abducted and forced to become a werewolf. She doesn't have a sour side though. She's just kind of broken, bless her.

Maybe a siren who has a penchant for offing terrible men, but she's really in search of one who did her wrong. I could definitely think of something in that realm !

Hell hath no fury and the journey to find oneself through their connections to others. That sounds like it could have a lot of potential for depth and hi jinks.  The next question that would come to mind is what kind of world to throw them in. Is it a high fantasy world filled with power entities vying for control, or would it take a more mundane approach with the supernatural, including themselves, being something rare and feared. Something like Wolves in sheep's clothing with the tug of fate to keep them on a mostly good path.

I like the idea of a wolf in sheep's clothing kind of world. It would be almost too easy if magic is out in the open. With less magic, it gives each person a feeling of solitude, more of a personal vendetta type, instead of outwardly trying to find help more easily.

I agree, the soft but rare magic that makes beings more mysterious. (Totally why I'm addicted to the Fae as a concept.)

How would you like it to start? We could setup them meeting each other in some kind of establishment or during their travels? Or would you like to start in the middle of their relationship and work our way back as we work our way forward?
