In the 20th century the Earth began facing menaces the likes of which it had never seen before. Supernatural terrors. Alien invaders. Madmen trying to conquer the world. Extraordinary threats require an extraordinary response. That is why in the 1970s the United Nations assembled a group of uniquely talented individuals to create the Allied Network for Global Enforcement of the Law. Secretly headquartered in the exotic resort known as Fantasy Island, this special unit takes on missions to defend the entire world for the greatest foes in history. This is their story, these are…

AGENTS OF

So this is an expansion on my idea for a 1970s DC game. Now all of 1970s live action pop culture is open. So in addition to people like Isis and Wonder Woman there could also be the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman, Bruce Lee characters, the Roger Moore James Bond, Black Belt Jones, Tom Baker Dr Who, Shaft, Barnabas Collins, the TV Spider-Man, Reb Brown as Captain America… if it was originally aired or released in the 70s then it’s fair game, even the most obscure B-movies. That also means I got one crazy decade to get baddies from. I’m going for some campy fun here, Exhibit A is the fact their secret headquarters is Fantasy Island. And since the 70s was also the time of the Golden Age of Porn and the Sexual Revolution, there will be plenty of chances for naughtiness too. Heck, characters from vintage smut might show up as supporting cast. It’s the greatest crossover of the Me Decade!

Tentatively voicing my interest.  I assume you would prefer Earth based characters rather than ones from Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and 'current' characters, rather than time travelers form the era of Logan's Run etc...

Trying to find an appropriately bad movie to base a character.

So far I'm looking at the Man From ORGY but I might go with something from TV....

Edit:  Probably going with The Man From Atlantis....
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.

Would the legendary kung-fu skills of Richard Dragon be acceptable in your funky 70's game, Foxy?

EDIT: removal of picture because apparently I can't find proper links for shit. -_-

Either one of those would be awesome. Definitely down with Patrick Duffy's yellow swimsuit. And futuristic characters would be OK, although the feel of the game might not fit some of them. But it really depends on how someone plays 'em. Like I've been thinking about having one character from the future as supporting cast/plot device.

Dem hot pants, though. ;)

Well, for this I'm hoping for more live action peeps. So if you're looking for kung fu there's Bruce Lee characters plus early Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris. movies. Not to mention Black Belt Jones or maybe Caine from Kung Fu (sure, it took place in the Old West but stuff happens).

How about Anya Amasova, agent Triple-X, from The Spy Who Loved Me?

Yep! Her positive mental attitude would be very beneficial.
