Please read my ONs/OFFs for more information regarding the kinds of characters I like, tropes I won't play, and everything else. PM me for questions and offers.

Property Of The Church
Inspired by the medieval/renaissance periods in themes and aesthetics, MC is a member of a high-standing clergy, and this plot takes place within a strict theocracy. The members of the clergy are quick to condemn but not so shy of sin themselves. MC would very likely frame many of his displays of wrath, greed and lust as exertions of sin, or a purge. I wanted MC to be very dominant for this plot, exploiting unbalanced and unhealthy power structures both within the leading relationship and the city itself. YC could be many things, but ultimately accused of crimes against God and therefore sentenced with trials and torture until repentance/subservience to the church. YC may even be a knight, who MC strives to convert into a dutiful paladin who donates the fruits of his campaigns to the church in place of less righteous lords.

Physical torture in some forms will be a common enough theme that you'd have to be comfortable writing. Primarily flagellation, but I also wouldn't mind twisting it into castle dungeon styled bdsm if it serves the plot well. Despite the more sexual nature of this plot I still lean more heavily towards slow burns and never porn for porn's sake. YC should still have all the cadence of a "top" or at least a switch, regardless of his position within (at least) the first portion of the story. I don't enjoy writing with submissive characters. I'd be overjoyed if YC was a knight as chivalry, wars and tournaments are things I enjoy in a setting, and it lends itself to the additional themes of YC being groomed by a higher power. MC doesn't need to be in control for the entire setting and I'm more than open to flipping the tables and adding stakes or a character arc for him.

For MC, I always enjoy playing older characters, and feel ~40 would be appropriate for a man of the cloth. Speaking of cloth, if I'm to write a cleric much in the style of a cardinal he will likely be bundled with the appropriate attire. For historical settings, I am not adverse to wool hosen and slippers. The more authentic, the better. The setting itself can simply be heavily inspired by a particular time and place, or even a number of those, without having to adhere to dates and names. I am less picky about YC when it comes to age and attire as long as it all makes sense within the rules of the setting. YC doesn't have to be guilty of the crimes he is accused of either, if forced to partake in sodomy trials. It all depends on how dark you want his journey to be.

The Hunt
I'm looking to play a vampire hunter, with YC being the vampire. Alternatively YC could be a beast (think Bloodborne). I get most of my inspiration from VTM when it comes to vampire rules and lore, but I wouldn't mind something more classic and hoaky. Holy water, crosses and stakes, that sort of thing. MC if a hunter with a particular hatred and/or bloodlust for the undead, coupled with holy conviction. YC is the undead. He can be from a wide variety of backgrounds with a wide variety of reasons for either engaging with or avoiding MC, I only ask that his personality is appropriate for something that's been dead a couple centuries. Struggles with empathy or sociopathic behavior welcome.

Setting is pretty important to me. For this I feel most at home in a dreary, rainy 1800s London-inspired backdrop. Alternatively I could go for colonial America with a Salem witch hunt theme. I typically write historical fiction so we'll be likely to use fictional settings inspired by real life counterparts, if it makes it easier for you and lightens the research load for the both of us. What matters to me most is that the setting in which this hunt takes place is expectantly oppressive, whether its ruled by the church or lit up in flames during the night by angry mobs.

Alternatively as mentioned, this could be a Bloodborne plot, with MC being the executioner and YC being a vileblood. Prefer if it takes place prior to the events of the game, especially given the circumstances of just how much the populations of these factions dwindled.
