DND 5E Eberron Private Investigation RP

Greetings Elliquiy,

I have a muse to DM a DND 5e  Game sent in Eberron. The Campaign will take place in Sharn the city of towers and the PC's are a part of a ragtag team of "inquisitives," they know each other before the game begins and banded together to form an agency which has an office within the Gilded Ankheg Tavern.

If there is an interest I would be looking for 2-3 players.

I can keep it to 5, the only hurdle is just enforcing post order while in rounds. Story to smut ratio I would say is 70/30 in favor of story. If players want the smut I can also facilitate that.

Are we all going to be playing the Rogue subclass Inquisitive, or just characters who are more focused on rooting out lies, investigations, detecting deception, and so forth?

As far as familiarty goes I'm so-so.  I've read through most of the 3.5 Eberron books and 5e but it's been a few years since I read up on the lore from 3.5 for background info.  Never actually got to play in Eberron.  Some Eberron inspired homebrew worlds but not Eberron proper.  If that's a problem I can tip me hat to a more desirable player since there's so much interest.

That's a really good question.  It'd make a lot of sense.

Every class is fair game I want there to be diversity in the group class wise, every class can offer something special to the investigation.

I’m okay with Dragon Marked characters but you need to justify through back story why you’ve shirked your duties to your house to be an inquisitive, Abbarent Dragonmarks are so allowed.
