There we go, think I got Aeryn to a point I'm happy with, found the slayer class in one of the lists linked, and it seemed pretty fitting for the character while being a little more streamlined than using Class Warfare.

Ooo! Fantastic! I love Class Warfare, but the single playbooks do frequently feel more cohesive!

On the other hand, as advancement goes we can always fiddle and hack to make concepts for perfectly!

OK here's the first draft!

Adventurer Info
Name: Valderina (Val) Stramonte
Race/Class: Half-Elf/Ranger
Interested In: Men/Women/ Masculine Monsters/Feminine Monsters/Stripping
Brief Description: Val stands 5’4” and weighs 115 pounds. She is thin and lithe, with bright purple hair and eyes to match – a mark of her elven heritage. Her skin is tanned for reasons that will become obvious. She prefers bows to melee, though she does carry a short sword which she can use proficiently. She opts for practical green clothing, when clothing is an option.

The product of a brief tryst between a wood elf fighter and a human druid, Valderina was raised by her elven mother and the small band with which she lived. The group was a small, largely nomadic one with deep connections to the great outdoors, with the belief that it should be experienced in all its glory. This has resonated with Val over the years and no doubt

Val tends to be quiet and perhaps a little taciturn, though she will warm up to people who prove their worth. Her love of the outdoors means that she is somewhat uncomfortable in cities and dungeons. And clothes - a notable consequence of her preference for all things natural is her inclination for going au naturel - in any given situation. she will opt to wear as little as practical and/or acceptable. In fact, her abilities and skills seem to increase in inverse proportion with the amount of clothing she happens to be wearing, which makes for some intense decisions in battle.

Familiarity With DW/D&D: I’ve done a lot of old-school D&D in my time. I’m new to Dungeon World though
How Often Do You Elliquiy?: I’m on daily but will probably post somewhere between once and twice a week.

Cessali

It's apparent I don't have the brain space for this that I thought I did.  My eyes keep sliding over the class playbooks even on a third look-over and nothing's coming as far as inspiration goes, which bums me out because that kind of thing is a good indication that I should let this one go.  More's the pity!

Good hunting, folks, this looks like should be fun.  :D

Nastara

Love it, Idlewyld!

No worries at all, Cessali. We have spell slots for things whenever we do! My hope is that this will be able to roll into an ongoing game that people can easily step out of and in to, so perhaps in the future you'll join in!

well shoot, out of habit i wanted to make a sheet for Gigi, just to have one, but apparently mythweavers doesn't know what Dungeon World is. And the source for the class doesn't even have the kindness to put it on a DW playbook. harrumph harrumph.

Sepulchritude

Welp. I got the dang thing all assembled, but my schedule has been altered, and now I won't really have time to give this the attention it deserves. Thanks all the same, Nast. You've added a system to my collection, if nothing else. Maybe when the winds change again.

Nastara

No worried at all!! I'm glad you have a new game to like! We will get an awesome game running and hopefully keep stuff rolling!

Also Nastara, for the adventure prompts you put up, I dig Twisted Roots of the Eltree and Brand of the Pale Hand.

Nastara

My plan is to basically just catalogue adventure ideas in there whenever I come up with them! Just kind of have a rolling list of things that people would like our poor heroes to put their bodies on the line for!

I love all the prompts. They're wonderfully written and deliciously open ended.

Adventurer Info
Name: Percevia Val'atorii
Race/Class: Halfling Shaman
Interested In: Men (NC)/Women/Trans/Futa/Masculine Monsters (NC)/Feminine Monsters/
Brief Description: Percy comes from a clan of havlins (or "halflings" to use the common term) native to the western desert, a somewhat large family that documents the histories and aural traditions of the area. More specifically, it is they who tend to the funeral rites of the various cultures of the area and keep older traditions alive... in a matter of speaking, considering they often rely on communion with their ancestors to ensure their accuracy.

While not worldly, she has been enchanted with tales from beyond the veil of far off lands, different cultures full of big 'uns and a whole lot of new people to get to know. While a little naive she attempts to be as friendly to others as possible, sometimes being a little bit of a busy-body and relaying to the spirits of their forebears how their kin are getting on, and at times passing on their grievances as to how their lineage has turned out, how dare their grandfather have sold their great-grandfather's prized goat after all.

Short even by havlin standards, Van stands at around a few feet tall, with dusky skin and short, dark hair she keeps straight. She prefers to wear browns as is the garb of the tomb-wardens and knowledge keepers of her land, adorned with jewellry of copper and bronze and tags showing from the various families hers has entwined with over the centuries in order to remember the enormous pool of ancestors she has to draw from for lore on as many subjects as she may dream, or call upon for protection.
Familiarity With DW/D&D: D&D 3.4, 4e, 5e and Dungeon World - If a world has established lore I try and read up on it as much as is reasonable
How Often Do You Elliquiy?: As often as I can, though it's been pretty bad lately - hoping for it to clear up. Maybe 3 times a week?

May try and get a Samurai and/or Initiate entry up before the deadline - it's so hard to choose who I want to play o_o

I'm just loving all of these characters so much! Counting down to 21ish hours from now!

Adventurer Info
Name: Nanthaliene Iardithas
Race/Class: Elf Fighter
Interested In: Men/Women/Trans/(Light) Futa/Masculine Monsters/Feminine Monsters/dub-con/non-con/gangbangs/bondage, especially dubcon and bondage

Brief Description: Nan is an elf who never learned to reign it in. Usually one's grace, poise, elegance, erudition, breadth of experience and general superiority over the general population is something smugly but privately enjoyed by elves the world over, as it's considered crass to rub the poor monkeys' noses in it. Nan never saw the point of all that, if you're better you're better and that's all there is to it! Humility is for people without the taste for pulse-pounding action that she seeks with her daily bread, not making a fuss about how good you are at everything is for dirt farmers and corpses. Also she's an Iardithas, so if she hasn't slain at least one dragon by her first century she's behind the curve and her grandmother will start sending her letters to the effect that she should sort out her life.

If you can get past the infuriating superiority you'll find a brave and stalwart ally (even if she can never stop quipping and showing off), but the average reaction to one of her speeches is to want to gag her. Which happens on occasion. It hasn't really slowed her down, and over the course of her high-flying adventures she's gotten captured... kind of a lot. It's not a failing! She just enjoys escaping!

Nan embodies the lithe grace of the premier and ancient school of dueling, even in a brigantine or full plate. She has eager grey eyes and flowing brown hair, and a cape that billows dramatically whenever she can find a bit of wind. She wields a long saber with unerring precision. Her clothes are frequently in a state of disrepair - there are adventures to be had and sewing is dull, and if your gear is a bit scarred that means you've been going out and showing off how good you are! If you accidentally start exposing something or another... well it's to distract the enemy! Their fault for looking.

Familiarity With DW/D&D: Lots of D&D (about 17 years of it now), absolutely no DW, but I'm eager to try new things!
How Often Do You Elliquiy?: About every other day.

So thrilled with all of these characters! Thank you everyone for submitting them!

Tonight at about... Probably closer to 7pm than 6pm I'll be starting to parse through and make up the party, so character recruitment bits should be done by then! Its gonna be a struggle, because I love these PCs, but on the plus side, there's possibility of making a second running team or introducing PCs if we have dropouts!

I want to thank all of you before going through and getting serious about picking, all of these characters would make amazing stories and I'm so thrilled and lucky as a GM/game organizer. Thank you.

By accepting what is and making the best use of every situation, life can be fulfilled without a constant demand for more. --Wen Tzu

In writing, a flaw is not the interesting part of a character.  What is interesting is how a person overcomes a flaw.  I want to read how a person overcomes a flaw, not how the flaw overcomes the person.

Adventurer Info
Name: Vanderra Alitoth
Race/Class: Tiefling (Andra?) Initiate
Interested In: Men (NC)/Women/Trans/Futa/Masculine Monsters (NC)/Feminine Monsters/
Brief Description: Pink in colouration with her extremities fading into a light duck-egg blue, Van usually keeps her long, flaxen hair tied up with a ribbon, her body covered in bandages from various cuts and injuries she's sustained. She stands at around 7'2 with a lithe, athletic form.

She has somewhat of a timid personality, shy around new people which due to her size can be confused for being stand-offish. Once she gets used to being around another person she comes off much friendlier than her initial demeanour would have shown. Even if she is unfamiliar with someone who would be an ally or someone she initially considers to be a good person she will rush to their defence as soon as possible. Unable to handle imbibing alcohol, there's a chance for her to either simply pass out or assume the form of a Drunken Master.

Unlike others of her kind she doesn't rely on raw strength, but rather agility and technique, a result of her being abandoned as a runt while still young (possibly leading to her having a hard time around new people) and being raised as a foundling by a kindly monk.
Familiarity With DW/D&D: D&D 3.4, 4e, 5e and Dungeon World - If a world has established lore I try and read up on it as much as is reasonable

Aye. Thanks for the chance.

Got a prompt for ya.

Howling in the Woods

There is a small village in the woods that clings to the old ways and traditions. Full of Rangers, Druids, Woodsmen, Hunters and more the entire village seems to revolve around the dense forest it lies partially within. Every year children of a certain age head into the forest for a week to survive and bond themselves to the woods in a rite of passage from childhood to adulthood. That almost all those that come back have a companion from one of the many nearby wolfpacks is just coincidence. A fact of having so many wolves nearby. This time something has gone wrong.

A group of bandits have moved into the woods seeking to recover from injuries taken when they encountered adventurers seeking their bounties. Interfering with the village's trial they injured three of the youths and have taken two of the girls with them back to their camp somewhere within the woods.

As members of the village may not interfere no matter what they would like a group of adventurers to deal with the bandits and rescue the girls. Preferably before the next full moon in three days. That is when the youths have to present themselves to the village to prove the success of their passing  the rite.

That... should be coherent? Hopefully. Bandits and wolves and beasties within the woods. Oh my. :D

Speaking of oh my. Ershin that is a tall but cute one.

Ugh, I'm dying at the fact that there's enough freaking players for THREE PARTIES.

FYI, I'm about 1, 1.5 hours from when I want to reach out to folks!  I'll do my best to get info out promptly, helpfully, and showing what next steps are! <3

Nastara

Yeah, I'm definitely going to be aiming to make a group that I think will have good chemistry as characters, players, posting styles, etc as best as I can!

All of the applications are fantastic. There's nobody who I wouldn't love to have in a game. For yhat matter, I'd love to keep everybody's names for possible later pokes in case of drop off, story completion, or being able to run a second game!
