PixelatedPixie

This is a Pathfinder game.  It will be high in non-consensual smut.  It will begin at level 3.  I am mainly looking for female characters (players can be whatever).

Yes there is a wall of text below, but please read it before applying.  It is frustrating when people clearly haven’t.  If I missed anything or anything is ambiguous please let me know!

I have a horrible track record as GM, you really probably shouldn't join this game.  Just saying.  (no this isn't reverse psychology, yes I really have a horrible record).

The System
As stated above this is a Pathfinder 1st Edition game.  However I will be using a few homebrew rules.  I also intend for many encounters to be stacked against the characters.  Not instant lose stacked, but given how long it can take to do a fight in online play by post each fight should carry significant risk in my mind.

1.  Initiative will be handled as a group, either as an average for each side, or with slots for each side, I am undecided on which I will go with.

2.  All characters will be required to have a flaw or curse.  I am not expecting these to be balanced between players, so if that is a concern this isn’t the game for you, but I am hoping they will be interesting and fun.  A few examples of what I am thinking.  They aren’t intended to be balanced, or even all that well thought out.

Four Eyes: The character has glasses and is Blinded without them.  She loses her glasses when she is knocked over or attacked flat footed.
Well Endowed: The character has vast tracts of... land.  She takes 1d4 points of non-lethal damage each turn she runs.
Were-Woman: The character is a hulking brute of a man, until (some common condition that I can't think of).  She loses 4 points of STR when not transformed.

3.  I will be including the risk of pregnancy.  I will not be dealing with childbirth or including a child in the story in any way.  But should it come up, and should the game last long enough, we’ll have to sort the consequences in some fashion.
It will be done as a natural 1 on a d20 roll.
All magical classes will have a 0 level spell available to prevent pregnancy for a period of 1 hour, with associated potions available as well.
All magical classes will have a 0 level spell available to encourage pregnancy for a period of 1 hour, with associated potions available as well.
I am also open to an Infertile trait if someone is really opposed to the pregnancy concept, or a Fertile trait if they are interested in it.

4.  I will not be including character death, or serious injury, through combat.  Your character may get hit with a fireball, stabbed with a sword, stomped on by a giant.  She won’t have anything but superficial injuries.  Singed off hair, an easily stitched cut (if that), a few bruises, etc.

5.  I am debating a token system (inspired by Fantasy Flight's Star Wars) that would allow characters to choose to fail forward.  So you'd choose to fail at something, and in return get some reward or other.  I am still debating the details of this and may not include it.

The Plot
For most purposes you can assume the setting is Golarion, though I won’t be following the normal lore too closely.  It will serve as more of an inspiration than anything.  The initial location will be Taldor.

The characters, while gathered in a local tavern, were approached by the maid of a local Duchess.  Her rightful rule has been usurped by her Cousin, and she has been locked away in a notorious prison to suffer all manner of indignity.  The maid has offered vast rewards if the group rescue her.  It is doubtful the maid actually has the money of course, but it is worth it in the name of justice, of good, of fame!

The prison is a nasty place, filled with nasty prisoners and even nastier guards.  It is all but impossible to break out of it, maybe it will be easier to break in?

The plot is intended to be something of a heist style story.  The characters need to figure out how to break into the prison, and more importantly, how to get back out after they do.  The planning, preparation, and implementation will all need to be handled.

The above is obviously a bit light on the details as I may tailor it based on characters and suggestions.

The Smut
As stated this game will be high in smut, and most of it will be non-consensual.  So players should be comfortable with, and interested in, at least Nonconsensual-Exotic content.  I will rate the game Extreme, though anything in that category will be discussed before it is brought in.  That said, if something from Extreme interests you do let me know and I can try to work it in.  I would also like to push things fairly heavily into the bondage/torture* angle.
*By which I mean ‘light’ torture if that is a thing.  A switch that leaves welts, that sort of thing, not knives or broken bones or anything.  The most extreme might be piercings or (with player permission) a brand.

I’ve seen a few advertisements decrying plot for the sole sake of getting character’s clothes off, and to some degree that is what I intend here.  Or rather, I want the plot to continue as the character’s clothes come off.  So the game will be high in smut, it may not happen constantly but will happen very regularly, but the intent is for things to fail forward when it happens.  Yes, your character may get gangbanged by all the guards when she failed to sneak, but she’ll be able to get the key she needs out of it, or will act as a distraction for the others to sneak in, or something else.

I am looking for the smut to be a bit over the top, where the character comes to enjoy it or at least isn’t horribly traumatized by it.  Where armour is weirdly revealing.  Where all the villains and many NPCs seem to be perverted or twisted.  That sort of thing.

Player Expectations
I would like to keep the game going at a reasonable rate.  So I am looking for people who can and will post at least twice a week (a post in OOC to say you have nothing to post is honestly fine as well), and who will let me know when they have lost interest.  Obviously life happens, but please do try and let me know when you will be away (when possible).  I am going to try and be a bit more draconian with post rates, as I find that tends to be what kills a lot of games.

I will try to update every 3-4 days.  At a minimum, as life does get busy sometimes, I will update at least once every 7 days.
If a player hasn’t posted in that 3-4 day period I will generally assume their character has done nothing (or, in some situations, NPC them for a post).
If a player hasn’t posted in 14 days (without some notice obviously, if you let me know I will work around any absences) I will remove their character from the game.

Obviously all other standard rules apply.  Be respectful, no godmoding, no metagaming, etc.  If you have issues with myself or another player, please let me know in PM.

The Characters
I strongly prefer characters are not jaded sexually or otherwise.  I would say innocent, but that isn’t quite right.  I don’t want characters whose backstory has had them spend all their time around demons and devils and undead and so on (with some potential exceptions for class content obviously), and I don’t really want characters who have already spent years as sex slaves or otherwise been through it all already.

I prefer medium races.  I won’t flat out ban small races, but they really aren’t my favourite.

I am generally open to Paizo content.  Third-party is banned.  I reserve the right to reject anything I see fit however.

The characters will begin at level 3.  I will not be tracking XP directly, but rather will raise character levels at specific intervals.

20 point buy for ability scores.  Alternatively, you can roll 22 d6s, drop the lowest 4, and combine the other 18 as desired (well, as desired in groups of 3) into your ability scores.  However said roll must be done using the dicebot here, must be done only once, and must be sent to me (61108 in the send to field).

Characters can begin with up to 3000GP worth of equipment.

The characters must have a flaw/curse as outlined in the System section.  I don’t have a set list in mind, and encourage players to be creative!  That said I reserve the right to reject or request modification of any of them.

I will be using Background Skills: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/background-skills/

I will allow traits if desired.

Evil characters will not be accepted*.
*See the last section

I dislike having to go to other websites to view a character sheet, so will require that character sheets are done on this site so I can keep them all in one place.  I will also do a header before things start that should go in each of your posts.  I am trusting players (generally) to track their own consumables, HP, and so on.

I will provide a character sheet template after recruitment is done.  I am not looking for character sheets yet.

Applications
If you are interested please post a race, class, flaw/curse, and brief background/concept.  Please also chime in on the discussion raised in the below section.  I don't need a full sheet at this point, and won't be going first-come first-served.  I will probably be accepting 3-5 characters in total.

Bad Guys Also Wanted?
A thought I had, and it is by no means certain, is to have a GM-PC (or is that just an NPC?) for my own amusement as well as accept a couple (maybe three) evil (or at least villainous) characters to act as antagonists.  The thought is to have some sort of side-plot to keep them busy when they aren’t interacting with the main party.  But to potentially take things in the healslut direction I have seen posted around here a few times after the initial plot I have in mind is resolved.  More specifically, to have the male characters wind up in control of the party (or failing that as unwanted allies of the party) at some point.

So, if interested, please answer the below as part of your application (I certainly won’t be offended if you say no to the idea, so please do be honest).
Do you want to include a PC villain or two as potential antagonists of the party?
Would you want your character to be (temporarily or permanently) enslaved by said villains?
If no to enslavement, would you be open to having them as unwanted allies?
Is there any other thought you have in this regard?

If you are reading this and wanted to play one of the villains.
Are you okay with your character not being the focus of the story?
Are you okay with (or interested in) the enslavement angle?  The unwanted allies angle?
Anything else?

The End
Yay, wall of text done.  Thank you for reading.

Saw this post and had a fun idea for a character. I'd be interested in such a game.

Name: Talia of Ashwood
Race: Human
Class: Cleric of Calistria, Goddess of Lust, Revenge and Trickery

Concept (rough concept, will likely expand this to a more fleshed out story)
Talia grew up in Ashwood, a large forested area in Varisia. Her parents owned a trade post and a tavern located on a major trade route and once she grows up enough she helps parents, serving food and drinks in the tavern and helping brew ale.
Bandits raid the tavern, burn it to the ground and kill her family, leaving her for dead. But she survives and vows revenge, despite not being trained how to fight or do anything else besides running a tavern. Fortunately (or rather unfortunately?), a goddess hears her plea and appears to her. Calistria offers her divine power but only if she is REALLY committed to revenge to which Talia answers yes.

Talia's curse
Well... nobody said gods don't have a sense of humor: Calistria grants her powerful clerical powers, but only if she wears skimpy enough outfit - she is goddess of lust after all, so her disciples need to spread lust, no? (Talia is not a prude and not a virgin but she found out fast that constant attention her outfit brings is tiresome, to say the least). Possibly, Talia's spells would also have unwanted effect of causing lust, the more severe wound is healed, the more lust is caused.
And if Talia tries to stay in one place and settle down, the goddess will punish her with insatiable lust, to "encourage" Talia at continuing her search from those who killed her family. Not that Talia would abandon her search for said bandits, its just... she wishes Calistria would make it easier. And the goddess? Nobody knows for sure, but Talia is almost certain she is  amused by her efforts not to sink into the depths of debauchery, and no doubt has plans for Talia in the future.
Hell, even the preferred obedience ritual (prayers) for Calistria involves voluntary prostitution, which Talia vowed to never do.

Regarding the questions:
Do you want to include a PC villain or two as potential antagonists of the party? - sure, why not! This will make the plot more "movie-like" which could be fun, I think. Also, this will make the plot more relatable if the evil will "have a face"

Would you want your character to be (temporarily or permanently) enslaved by said villains? - I will say yes to enslavement, though I'd prefer opportunities for Talia to escape/turn the tables. Those opportunities preferably would be governed by dice (struggling against ropes would roll as strength/reflex against some DC, or something along these lines)

Is there any other thought you have in this regard? - Enslavement if players want it, of course, may provide additional interesting role-play opportunities. Alternatively, if some players don't want it happen to their characters, then perhaps those may want to stage a rescue for the enslaved characters?

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost...

Silim

Keeping an eye on this one, can't commit yet on it. Gonna say that if I join up I'd also be interested in the villain side extra PCs.

CountessYlva

Quite interested, is kitsune allowed, or would you prefer to keep to more human races?

PixelatedPixie

She sounds interesting redkitsune.

The Unchained classes are fine.

They should be fine.  I might prefer the fox form is more human-ish than fox-ish, but that would be my only concern.

Guess I will have to go a spellcaster Human
Would love to go a Shadow Sorceress. Will post more soon once I get confirmation on flaw

Choice is but an Illusion. Consequences are however real.

Silim

I was playing with the idea of either an Evocation/blast focused Sorceress or a Bladebound Kensai Magus, so if Arcanist goes with Sorcerer I'll whip up a Magus.

Name: Niramour “Nira” Bearer of the dual blessings of the sacred rabbit and swan
Race: Aasimar
Class:  Bard:1/Rogue:1/Brawler:1

Concept  Niramour  grew up  not knowing her father and her Mother worshiped both Arshea and Lymnieris. She grew up in Magnimar , where she learned  how to read and write and perform. As she  got older she learned  the arts of a theif but  not for the reasons one might think they learned these skills to protect themselves and others. In their line of work people  would crave  who entertain  by song, dance and flesh. So they learned to  use the thief arts to escape capture and rescue others. She however did not join the performance halls and the church proper till she was 18  years of age then  she  had to decide to devote herself to the Worship of  Arshea and Lymnieris.  After  her  completion of her training and initiation She took her place as one part Performer and  one part adherent and servant to  her Empyreal Lords.

Regarding the questions:
Do you want to include a PC villain or two as potential antagonists of the party? - Yes, I agree with Red kitsune that the antagonistic npc should have a face and make it all the more relatable.

Would you want your character to be (temporarily or permanently) enslaved by said villains? - I would say yes to the enslavement albeit temporary with chances to escape and turn the tables. I think the villain capturing and tormenting us should be more of a game to the villain(preferably female).  The Villain does  it for there own pleasure and excitement  more then  for the sake of some  evil cause or world domination. The villain's  antics are not life threatening as  the game  of it is what makes the villian do it and  the excitement behind  how the heroes  handle it and will the  tides be turned on the villain excite the individual all the more. Ultimately the rivalry and the excitement it brings  to the villain's life is  the focus. The Villain might even turn on other evil forces should  it threaten to take the villain's enjoyment away. I think would make  for a fun dynamic.

Is there any other thought you have in this regard? -   I would agree with the sentiment stated by red kitsune   that if players don't want to be enslaved , maybe be apart of a rescue effort or other opportunity for role playing

helvorn

I'd love to participate in this game!

It seems we have somewhat of a format for outlining a character.

I am proposing a character that is a hidden Tiefling who starts as a LG monk but carries within her a taint that may slowly transform her body into something non-human.  Her mind will remain her own but influenced by her body.  I think she will fit in nicely with a sexy adventuring party as she slowly discovers her possible fate.

Name: Lillian Notrice
Race: Tiefling
Class: Unchained Monk

Background:
Lillian is the offspring of a human woman and an incubus. Her mother was raped by a devil and died in childbirth delivering Lillian.  Lillian was taken in by a semi-religious order and raised in a monastery of Iomedae.  Her supernatural heritage was not physically evident and Lillian gained acceptance in the monastery although many had doubts about her odd quirks of personality.  Lillian was unable to dedicate herself to the priesthood for both the doubts of others and the lingering, unseen taint of her heritage kept her from directly serving the goddess.  Instead Lillian found her place among the monks and paladins of Irori who would sometimes train in their monastery.  Strangely in touch with her body and mind and deeply craving the stern discipline Lillian trod the path of the monk.

As she approached her majority Lillian found that her body and mind were changing.  Strange dreams of dark, lascivious creatures tormented her at night and when she woke sweating in the darkness Lillian discovered she could see perfectly in the dimness.  Urges overtook her to commit lewd acts and undermine those around her while Lillian realized that lying and deception had become natural to her.  Lillian could suddenly shrug off extremes of heat and cold as though protected by some warding.  These changes along with the dreams created conflict and turmoil in Lillian as she sought to remain along the path of purity and serves.  It was as these changes came over her and she approached her graduation that her life changed.  The chief priestess of the monastery conducted a private ceremony with Lillian the night before her graduation that revealed that there was truly some supernatural mixture in Lillian's blood.  The exact nature could not be determined but the priestess decided that Lillian would have to offer her service to the goddess as a wandering adventurer rather than in the temple or monastery for the omens were dark.

Thus Lillian completed her trials and was granted the status of a lay servant of Iomedae.  Immediately afterward the priestess took Lillian aside and in an intense ceremony granted her the ability to protect herself against evil corruption.  Thus armed with a small amount of gold, a few gifts of magic from the monastery Lillian has set out to find herself and aid those less fortunate.  Little does she know that the powerful incubus that fathered her has been watching and seeking unsuccessfully to influence her down a path that would ultimately lead her to the transformation to a full blooded succubus.

Lillian has chosen to avoid the complexities of weapons and armor and instead works with humble, common items as weapons as well as using her body itself.  Clad simply her beauty shines out when she pulls back her hood and reveals flowing hair and gleaming eyes. Friendly yet intense she has come to this place at random but is eager to help.

Curse:  Lillian is cursed with a bond with her powerful but hidden father.  Although her heritage is largely hidden (her long, strong fingernails and longer and strangely dextrous tongue are the only outward physical signs) she carries a burden with her.

The first is a Taint on her Spirit (Tainted Spirit drawback) caused by the energy drawn from her soul to power both her abilities and the link with her father.  After combat she can be exhausted and fatigued without an effort of will.

The second taint unknown to her is that the physical aspects of her demonic heritage stir powerfully below her surface appearance.  Powerful emotions, especially sexual ones as well as contact or even proximity to evil and evil magic will start to slowly bring her Tiefling heritage to the fore.  Her body is ultimately fated to slowly transform to the shape of a horned and hoofed part human with red glowing slitted eyes and feline fangs and a long tail.  The final step in her transformation will be to that of a voluptuous succubus as her mind and body morph into a creature of sensuality and desire so different from her discipline and aesthetic life to date.

Regarding the questions:
Do you want to include a PC villain or two as potential antagonists of the party? - I think that this would be a fun idea.  There would need to be some OOC and PM coordination to make it work but I don't have a problem with 'failing' a few rolls to be captured by said villain!

Would you want your character to be (temporarily or permanently) enslaved by said villains? - Definitely enslavement if it works in the course of the adventures.  It could be permanent or temporary again as long as it flows with the game.  I'm willing to help make it work.

Is there any other thought you have in this regard? - Enslavement and PC villains should make the game go more quickly and keep people busy off the main story line.  You might even give the villain PC's a bit more power so they can be more of a threat to capture and enslavement!

Muse

Good evening.  This is a very interesting plot you have.  I'm working on a full application now, though i'll be leaving soon for my birthday dinner.  Do you have any preference for character portraits?  I've gotten a lot of sexy cosplay models lately but some people don't like live models.

Name: Kasumi Irana
Race: Kitsune
Class: Psychic (Abomination discipline)
Flaw: Revealing Shadow. While she is a gifted shapeshifter, Kasumi's shadow is always that of a gaunt, monstrous form with limbs too long and clawed. It is nigh impossible for her to conceal her nature.
Background: She was never a normal girl. Too clever by half, even as a child. She had an odd way of thinking - distant, analytical, but with a difficulty grasping basic concepts at times. She was ostracized for her oddities, but once she grew into a woman she made a fair living as a jeweler. Then a group of thugs cornered her. She was sure she would die, or worse, and the wave of fear she felt broke something inside her. Terror gave way to fury and the ringleader dropped dead, bleeding from the eyes. Kasumi fled, a monster's shadow following her, and she has been fleeing since.

Cula

Name: Eira Longwinter
Race: Human
Class: Barbarian

Curse: Eira draws her powers of rage and bestial strength from a primal source. A consequence of doing so is that Eira is cursed by the cycle of the moon. Once per month, when the moon is full, she suffers a condition that could easily be compared to the estrous cycle of many female animals. The condition lasts for a couple of days and, for this duration, she feels the constant encroachment of arousal. While it is manageable, it is decidedly distracting and makes many tasks that require mental focus quite a bit more difficult.

Background: The youngest child of a mountain-dwelling family, Eira was raised in a world in which every day was a struggle against the elements and the wilderness. Even in the face of such harsh conditions, however, she received a loving upbringing from her family, who stuck together like ice on the sharp crags of their home, encouraging the growth of a strong heart.

Thanks to the primal rituals of her mother, all of Eira's family benefited from totemic magics that granted them strength and durability. These boons were constantly helpful in the lands they called home. She was given the tools, training, and protection to survive in the world when her time came. Instead, she thrived.

However, like many young women, Eira yearned for more. She wished to fly from the nest and see the world beyond her frozen homeland. With a fond farewell, she set out on a journey, entirely on her own, to find new lands and new people. While her upbringing left her very equipped to tackle physical dangers and the threats of the wilderness, it left her woefully sheltered when it came to interacting with others. The barbarian had a big, friendly heart, but was perhaps too gullible for her own good. Fortunately, any trouble she got into was usually solved quite quickly with a little application of her beloved sword.

Eira found great success as a sellsword, though she perhaps undercharged for her services. In truth, she was just happy to help and be appreciated, and she enjoyed seeing new things along the way. If she was given gold in the process, that was just icing on the proverbial cake. One day, she might return home to tell her family of all she had seen and learned (maybe alongside a mate, so that she might continue the family line), but that day is likely a long way off.

Questions: I think including PC villains could be a lot of fun. It'd give a personal face to the opposition and could make for some amusing interactions. I also don't mind the threat of enslavement, if it comes up, nor the idea of unwanted allies. They both open the potential to fun storytelling stuff. That's the gist of my thoughts on it, really. If it could lead to more fun or interesting elements to the story, then I think it could be a good idea to use.

Still brain storming.

I know Alyssa was raised by her mother Tessa.  Tessa was a noble girl in an arranged marriage who lost her status by loosing her virginity out of wedlock.  : ) Don't know if it was consensual or not.  When Alyssa was born, Tessa settled in a prosperous city to teach swordsmanship.  She's a loving mother, but also deadly responsible, stern, and serious.  Alyssa is playful and romantic, likes to sing and read and write.

I want to tie the curse into what happens if Alyssa looses her  maidenhood before marriage, but it should neither end there, nor have already happeend.  I'm playing with the idea that ti's tied to her being a summoner.  Maybe the presence of her eideolon alerted Tessa that the curse was in effect on her daughter.

The characters are interesting so far, I don't have any specific comments at the moment.  If I missed a question please let me know.

That said I am concerned about some of the curses/flaws in gameplay, and am not sure I explained that bit as well as I should have.  The ambiguity falls on me for not defining things better, but my intent was for ones that were fairly simple mechanically (so they could be handled by the player as much as possible), and would come up in gameplay on a regular or semi-regular basis.  They should provide a reason why the characters are the B-Team and not as effective as the normal hero(ines).  I certainly intend to include them in roleplay situations, but if it requires a bunch of rolling or scene interrupts on my part each turn for your character or, on the opposite end of the spectrum, if it can be ignored most of the time during gameplay, it may not be the best fit.

I didn't want to put a number on mine, but I was thinking something like a -5 or -10 on disguise checks - which is pretty major seeing as I'm planning to take the realistic likeness feat specifically to appear like other people. It effectively makes one of my feat choices completely useless for any mechanical purpose.

Oh, in that case, I'd opt for something like a Sense Motive penalty for mine, to represent being naive and gullible as a flaw. The actual Naive drawback that exists for the game feels incredibly niche and like it won't ever really come up, since it's only against improvised weapons and a single combat maneuver. I hope the Sense Motive penalty is a sufficient drawback! I'd still keep the current curse, but it is a bit harder to represent mechanically than a flat stat penalty or something like that.

PixelatedPixie

I should say complex in theme and flavour is fine, and certainly there can be more to any of them than just the core mechanic, but there should be something that hinders them mechanically on a regular basis that isn't too complicated for me to remember/handle.

A penalty to a skill such as sense motive or disguise is fine.

Can you address this one please?

Not trying to disregard your clarifications about the mechanics.  More a general question about your kinks and such.

You suggested that pregnancies might lead to pregnant girls adventuring but the story being won before they actually gave birth and settled down to raise their kids.  I was thinking in this case it might be accelerated.

When the little angel won't appear no matter how many plum blossoms you swirl:  https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=135346.msg16474321#msg16474321 (Major update 5/10/2023)

Arcanist

Name: Ariana Wolf
Race: Human
Class: Sorcerer (Shadow Bloodline)

Concept
Ariana was born to minor nobility. Legend has it was that the noble house was cursed due to the nocturnal promises the matriarch of the family made with a Lord of the Shadow Realm. It was not far from the truth, it was more of a pact made for power that developed into something more. This “inheritance” is past down randomly down the generations, the consequences of it leading to either madness or power.

Both of Ariana’s parents hoped that Ariana would not “inherit”. But it was not to be. Ariana had imaginary friends that she played with and was always more comfortable in the shadows. However, the older she got, her imaginary friends became more physical. She also disappeared for hours on end. But on the eve of her coming of age ceremony, she disappeared for a month.

Ariana was found in the grounds of the manor, naked and dazed. No one knew what happened and she seems not to remember. She however now had the ability to call on the very shadows that now constantly seem to surround her.

Ariana’s curse
The denizens of the Plane of Shadows love her. Well, perhaps love is too strong a word. They lust for her. They constantly surround her, caress her and at times more. Although not harmful to her, in fact many a times quite pleasurable, It has caused her no end of embarrassment. Perhaps it was something to do with her bloodline or promises previously made. Because of the constant presence of the shadows, people feel uncomfortable being near her (-2 to Diplomacy checks) and spells with the light descriptor has a chance to daze her (Spells with the light descriptor, when cast directly at her has the effects of the Flaring Spell meta magic feat)

Regarding the questions:
Do you want to include a PC villain or two as potential antagonists of the party? - Would be interesting.

Would you want your character to be (temporarily or permanently) enslaved by said villains? - I will say yes to enslavement as well. But I am with the others with regards to opportunities to escape.

Is there any other thought you have in this regard? -
Choice is but an Illusion. Consequences are however real.

This sounds like a lot of fun, I'll have to see if I come up with a good character concept for sure! :-)

I should say complex in theme and flavour is fine, and certainly there can be more to any of them than just the core mechanic, but there should be something that hinders them mechanically on a regular basis that isn't too complicated for me to remember/handle.

A penalty to a skill such as sense motive or disguise is fine.

My is a simple DC check against Fort after combat with each round adding to the DC.  If you fail the Fort test then you're fatigued for 10 minutes or so.

The first is a Taint on her Spirit (Tainted Spirit drawback) caused by the energy drawn from her soul to power both her abilities and the link with her father.  After combat she can be exhausted and fatigued without an effort of will.

The second curse I chose is a longer term thing that can reflect that her heritage coming to the fore under stress.  I don't see this one being played out other than in very specific and relatively rare situations where she undergoes some kind of captivity or stress (such as being captured and enslaved by a PC villain that discovers her heritage...)

Thank you for the clarifications on the curses everyone.  I wasn't trying to call anyone specific out, but just trying to better convey what I had in mind and was hoping for.  I will give things at least a couple more days before closing recruitment and deciding what group to go with.

Can you address this one please?

I don't have an issue with it from a kink standpoint, though I do admittedly have a hard time envisioning it from a roleplay standpoint.  If you can make it work it is fine though.
