The son of a middle class Korean family and heir to a third generation family restaurant, Hyeon is a spirited boy with a number of interests.
Raised within the restaurant, cooking with both parents; it was no shock that he'd aspired to become a chef someday. His slightly above average grades and natural knack for creating higher tier dishes and talents for traditional Asian foods in general had impressed even his own parents from a young age to the point he'd taken unofficial position as sous chef and even fully prepare meals as chef himself when short handed.
