It is the 445th year of the Golden Host's Crusades. You are but one of innumerable legions lead by god-like divines and under the most holy priestess of Tyralus, they task you with the righteous, imperative truth of the Tyralin Empire. Led by the 21st divine, your number find unity in your cause to spread across the stars and to scour the infinite expanse of the universe and the universes beyond to find your lost kindred and uplift them. Everyone else that undoubtedly disagree with your ways and those of your kindred that refuse your kindness are to be exterminated.

Alas, a storm is brewing. Whether aware or not, you are but pawns to greater powers at play as the gaze of the priestess falls upon the 8459 - 21st, a planet shrouded in darkness and conquered by demons. Whether by Tyralin hubris or callous disregard, the legions are to commence a ground operation, led by the 21st divine herself rather than the more sensible planet wide extermination protocol. It is but one of many choices in this long, arduous campaign, but a choice that will inevitably bring about the turning point of everything you’ve ever known. Come, see your empire fall, watch heresy take root in this short-term story focused campaign … or watch as you fall to heresy yourself.









Fall to Heresy is a space opera built to explore the tragedies and tribulations of the player as they serve the divine warmaster and work to rout out traitors of the Tyralin Empire. Choose your faction, become their chosen agent, and prosecute the holy doctrine as others do the same and come into conflict with your ways. Betrayal, heresy, dissent – will you find those guilty of said sins or will you fall prey to such thoughts yourself?

Players looking for an enriching story with a focused narrative and heavy emphasis on roleplaying and world building/storytelling will find what they need here. The setting will be set in stone, but players will have the power to influence events, turning empires and legions against one another, or perhaps, turning one's people towards the brink of annihilation.

Clarifications




"Fall to Heresy" may be played with or without dice. Playing with dice will require character sheet that can be built either in a complex homebrew system or a simplified "general stat" design. While the complexity takes more time to get used to, if you're looking for combat, I'm willing to teach the system. Those looking for story based roleplays with light rolling is better off playing with the simplified "general stat" design.

"Fall to Heresy" will require you to play a psychic, religious, space elf, though how much of a psychic, how pious, how spacey, and even how elf like can change depending on the different faction you are a part of. Will you be Val Primus, first lords and the truest of Tyralins, or perhaps you're Obsidian Legion, automatons granted sentience by the priestess and uplifted as their own. Perhaps you're a drug addled Noctus Viscerum, a cannabalistic Brujah, a mechano-phile of a Fabricae Malificarum, or unfeeling like a rotting Pox Vindicar.

If you are inspired enough to create your own legion or wish to create your own divine to play, the possibility is your's to grasp. The setting is indeed set in stone, lore and universe building has been established, but where said world building takes you and what you wish to make of it is your's to discover and play.
