Setting: Dark Oz takes place in an alternate story line universe to the Wizard of Oz universe. While it follows the standard journey Dorothy takes through Oz, the main character will be named however, the writer of the heroine wants. The setting is darker and steampunk. Imagine American McGee’s Alice. Creatures will die graphic deaths and there will be erotic content. This story will be a harem erotica, but this story won’t solely be about sex. It is about the heroine making friends with benefits with three heroes and helping them reclaim what they’ve lost while also trying to find her way home. Together they travel to the Emerald City to see the All Powerful Oz, while dealing with grim encounters from grotesque and monstrous envoys of the Wicked Witch of the West. In summary expect:

This game is open to LGBTQ+ of course. The heroine may also have an appetite for some of the more feminine characters that appear in the game. The heroes could also be MxM. It is however the writers deem it. Now to go further into the story...



This is expected to be a short story RP. Which means we all basically know the end goal if you have ever seen the Wizard of Oz so everything we do will progress us toward that end goal. With the dark elements and the open door to creativity, this should allow writers the ability to optimally contribute to the story in interesting ways. We know the heroine somehow lands in Oz and upon landing in Oz, happens to kill the Wicked Witch of the East. Whoever chooses to play the heroine, I want to give that writer the ability to dictate what she did to land in Oz and how she killed the Wicked Witch of the East. In the story, a tornado came and whisked Dorothy away to Oz. The heroine does not have to arrive in Oz this way. Because this is a dark story, she could have attempted to OD on meds; did some crazy drugs; car plunges into a lake; caught in a flood, etc. Notice these themes are dark in nature to match the theme of the game. Her goal once she gets to Oz will be to want to go home but in order to do so, she will need to find the All Powerful Oz.

• Heroine: This character is taking on the role of Dorothy. However, Dorothy does not have to be her name. She stumbles into Oz, befriends three quirky heroes, and travels to the Emerald City to see the All Powerful Oz. Upon killing the Wicked Witch of the East with her entrance, she inherits her magical…[this can be whatever the heroine writers wants: stilettos, thong, bra, hand bag, earrings, etc.] This objects grants her the powers to topple most of Ozes nightmarish creatures and has a hidden power that could supposedly get her home once unlocked. There is however one catch. She must not ever take it/them off. She is the only one who can take it/them off. Role: Open

The characters below do not have to literally be made of straw, tin, or be a lion. Be creative. These could be code names because they are all handsome warriors who aid the heroine in reaching the Emerald City. You design them however you want, but they have quirks. The quirks are mentioned in their descriptions.

• Scarecrow: The Scarecrow would probably be a formidable warrior if only he had a brain. He isn’t literally lacking a brain, but he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. The Wicked Witch of the West stole his intelligence to fuel her great power. Role: Taken
• Tinman: “Tinman;” “Ironman;” however, you want to call him. He is lacking heart. He does not perceive emotions the way normal people do and can seem pretty cold. The Wicked Witch of the West stole his heart to fuel her great power. Role: Reserved
• The Lion: The Lion used to be brave once, but his courage was stolen by the Wicked Witch of the West. If not for his friends, he would probably fold against the enemy. Role: Open

I am literally seeing who would be interested in a game like this so I won’t post a character sheet just yet. I just want to see who is interested in what roles, even if the role is taken, and so please let me know if you are interested and in what role. There can be more than one person interested for when I post the CS, I will be choosing what in my opinion is the best concept for the game. This does not mean you are not a good writer. When I choose a CS, it just means I liked concept A versus B. So please do not take not being chosen for a role to heart. But yes, please let me know if you think you would be interested in writing a dark and erotic story together.

I am a very flexible GM so if we have almost enough people but not quite, I do not mind filling a role or allowing another writer to take on more than one role. There will be NPCs that I will introduce to the story and once we get an established cast, I will allow other writers to contribute NPCs as well.  So let me know!

Heroine

Dorothy Collins, a once innocent young woman who was trapped into a seedy life of crime. Getting hooked on drugs she would lose her job, drop out of school, and eventually disappear from her friends and family's lives entirely. And so she took to prostitution to feed her addiction. One night a John got too rough with her, a fight broke out, and as she scrambled for the knife in her purse to protect herself the man charged into her, sending her crashing through a nearby window. She hit the ground, not in her world, but in Oz, right at the feet of the depraved Witch of the East. Again she would find herself sexually assaulted, but before the witch could have her way Dorothy drove the knife between her ribs. However as the witch lay dead, a curse was placed on her, trapping her in a dress of bondage, with the key hanging tauntingly from her neck. And so she ventures out in search of the wizard, hoping to free herself and find a way back home. Unbeknownst to her the dress actually contains a store of all the witch's power, allowing her to face the dangers of Oz, but also making her a target for the Witch of the West.

Following the motif of the original movie, where every character reflected someone Dorothy knew back in her real life, the Wicked Witch is based off of the drug dealer who had gotten her hooked in the first place. She was also the one who convinced her to start selling her body to make money, and would even give her discounts in exchange for sexual favors, grooming her with the intent of becoming her pimp. The desire to extort her power over the girl and use her for her own ends carries over into her Oz incarnation. She doesn't plan to kill her to take the suit back, but instead wants to break and control her so she can use her as a weapon to take over Oz.

So we've had 2 interested in the main heroine role which actually makes me happy because usually the main character role is the hardest to fill. I am looking for more interest in the heroes at this point.

There is also nothing wrong with wanting to play other roles like the Wicked Witch of the West or even the Good Witch of the North. Whatever erotic spins you want to put on these extras is fine. However, they will be considered extra roles because they do not play a consistent enough role in the story. I can see the Glinda role joining the party to help actually. As you guys bring me ideas, you bring further ideas to expand our dark and erotic universe to make it even more interesting. Thus why I welcome your input. 

If I feel the scale is tipping more toward erotica and not enough dark or horror, then I will more than likely deny certain roles to ensure we do not lose the important elements. I would like to keep a balance of both.
