Guns are every will, mages go zooooom and boob plate is 30 silver... that's right. It is a lesbian wild west and there no man to stop. (I can't believe there aren't enought characters in the title to write all of this)

The game will take place in a western-inspired steam/gear/arcanepunk world, most of the time you will be on dry planes but of course. This, of course, doesn't mean you it the only place you visit over the course of the game. and no boy allowed >:(

Centuries ago Amazons received a sudden waterfall of divine favours and took over the land. Man only exists on pages of history books. Since that technology moved forward rather significantly. Guns were invited and took over the world, a steam engine left secret gnome society and whole wide world uses it, mages overcharged their powers, new continents were discovered and all even magic items got an upgrade with fancy new self-recharging wands.

The party will a group of adventurers recruited by a merchant for protection. The game starts with arriving into a final town where you and the merchant were supposed to decide if you should renew your contract or split ways. However, the town bank is in the middle of getting robbed.

This will be a sandbox PF game first, and light hardened wild west lesbian orgy second. This is to say, there will be defined room for sexy time, and no time in inappropriate for it. However, you will find the wilderness to be dangerous, inactive will be rolled, the quests will be given, and PC death is not out of the question. Yes, if you find a way to rape somebody in the middle of combat, and don't get scared by RNG, you are free to do so.

To apply, post a draft for bio and sheet.

Pro Tip: Ranged weapon will play an important part in this game. Most of the enemies will be other humanoids armed with guns, so be prepared.
Pro Tip V2: Perception has limits and getting a drop on enemies is often as simple as noticing them before they notice you.

Rules variants
Firearms: Guns Everywhere.
Advanced Talents may be taken as talents but no more than 1+1/5 MSB

Background skills are in play

Block inactive is in play. (Inactive will be based on teams, PC with hight roll may get extra round before everything)
Mile Stone levelling is in play.

Sheet: I would like you to use MW, preferably experimental template. However other formats may work as well.
Homebrew rules
Religon
Just like in regular Eberron, god is no more, faith is enought to provide divine powers and most religion is based on curches.

Time Tweaks (Lunar Calendar)
A week is 10 days long, each month has 3 weeks. (early, mid, late), a year has 12 months. A full moon is at 5th of the middle for each month.

Crafting Tweaks:
For mundane crafting accelerated crafting stack with itself.
For magic items betting DC by each multiple of 5 adds extra 1,000 gp to progress. This does not reduce the cost of the item, it just increases the rate at which the item is crafted.

Some items will use materials that aren't commonly available, and rach times requires specific materials. Meaning you will have to shop for crafting materials for specific items.

Less bookkeeping
if you got 100 rounds of common: arrows, bolts, touches or bullets and gunpowder you keep gain effects of Ceaseless Ammo for this items, and Ceaseless Ammo is not legendary talent. Food and drink are coved unless there is a reason you wouldn't be able to get them.

Psionic Recharge
Just like vancian casters, manifesters will have different power levels to put on cooldowns, base on the maximum level of powers they cna learn. With the slot containing power points tp fule their corresponding power level (1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17). This means the 1st level Psion gets 1 slot containing 1 pp, at 3rd level, they gain a second one, with a 3pp in it and so on. Just like casters, the cooldown will be lowered as their highest level power increases.

Most powers and manifesters use general cooldown for a spontaneous caster, but some may have specific recharge times, just like spells.

Additionally, manifesters retain 1/4 of their regular power point pool. It's renewed with 8 hours rest, as normal.

No effect can drow pp from more than 1 slot from the same source, however, when using pool, multiclassing, or obtaining slots from other sources they can be used on a single power. Other sources of power point include:
Naturally Psionic / Wild Talent / Psionic Talent feat -> Grants a single 1pp slot with 1d4+1 rounds cooldown.
Sleeping goddess -> Grants slots based on number of manoeuvres, and Psychic Warrior table (1 -> 1pp slot, 6 -> 3 spp slot, 16 -> 5 pp slot)

Every enemy will be armed with guns...

So i should play a monk or get abilities make ranged attacks have a miss chance? Or a sword user who can negate ranged attacks? Oh god i'm making Kirito from Gun Gale.

GreenFlame

What you build is up to you. If you want to negate or reflect ranged attacks, go for it. However, I will say, there is still a chance of running into melee combatants. They just aren't this common.

LizzieV

A gunslinger with the guntank varient might work or even a fighter with the 'missile shield' feat if you want to deal with heavy armor and maybe melee. Using cover and ranged weaponry is probably going to be a good idea I'd think rather than just rushing in all the time. If there are a large number of enemies and you leap forward then you're drawing potentially several targets on you at once and things like deflect only do one attack per round.

Firearms can be used while prone so you can drop down with a rifle at range to give enemies a -4 to hit you and use cover for some large early level defense boosts as well.

If I may ask, are the Akashic Mysteries classes from Dreamscarred Press acceptable? I would specifically be interested in the Rajah, an akashic initiator that is built to fulfill a support role.

Ah, binding for pathfinder. I'm afraid I will have to say no. I'm not familiar with it at all. Perhaps one day I will get around to reading it as the idea seams fun.

Perfectly reasonable! The Akashic stuff lands a lot better than Incarnum ever did, and has some pretty unique (and fun) elements. Worth a browse at your leisure. I should have a character sheet and bio up later today though.

Laughing Ocelots

Lyssa Wynris
Class: Pact Wizard
Race: Vitala-Born Dhampir
Age: Appears 22

The life of many elves is a placid one, the mortal drive near non-existent due to their longevity and magical prowess, and with some small communities sprinkled about, there are even those who do not see the aging of younger races to realize how quickly time slips away. Lyssa was one such elf, who dutifully lived an insipid life learning uninspired magics, even going so far as to marry into a house that had no real need to work. Such languid times cannot last forever though, and a horrible accident half way through her 176th year had ended her life prematurely. Lyssa's wife, either out of a sense of love or duty, threw their fortune into hiring the best magic money can buy, scraping together enough to bring her back, but through druidic means. She could return, but not necessarily back to her previous, frail form.

Even though it left them destitute, Lyssa was brought back to the land of the living, but she had... changed. She was shorter and darker of complexion, her hair no longer made of gold, and she was fresh-faced and new, but the changes were deeper than that. Now, she had only decades remaining, and her first death had opened Lyssa's eyes to the excitement of mortality! Each day marched her swiftly towards her death, she could feel it, and it was invigorating in a way that nothing before had been. To know death was to know life! That things lived only mattered because they died, and by extension, that things existed only mattered because they would eventually be consigned to oblivion.

This philosophical revelation saw the reborn Lyssa leaving, faster than the people in her old life could have thought possible, aiming to seek others that understood her perspective in the bustling cities of shorter lived women. And there she found answers - other scholars that agreed with her, yes, but that there was an entire family of Outsiders that embodied her new learnings. After a year of study, Lyssa knew she had found her knew calling, and that was to learn more about the daemons, and to see that every life she touched burned as bright as she could ensure it to be.

What a creative backstory! The crush seems fine so far.

GreenFlame

Alright looks like that it for interested players right now, I'm willing to run it as a game for 2, but are you guys willing to play in a smaller party?

mjrbatou

I'd say I'm interested, but the games here seem to be slowing recently and I'm not sure about using firearms (keep thinking of d20 modern for firearms)

LizzieV

I am interested although I am not sure if I should alter my character for a small party or not since level 1 I have little in offensive options
O/O

Laughing Ocelots

Similar to LizzieV, I am still interested, but 1st level wizards are not known for their high damage output so being able to successfully finish fights would be somewhat concerning.

GreenFlame

d20 modern.Gives modern firearms. This game is more of a wild west setting. Additionally d20 modern guns are a lother more powerful, and in all likelihood will upset already wacky balance of this game.

Ironwolf85

Prudence, justice, temperance, courage, faith, hope, love...
debate any other aspect of my faith these are the heavenly virtues. this flawed mortal is going to try to adhere to them.

Culture: the ability to carve an intricate and beautiful bowl from the skull of a fallen enemy.
Civilization: the ability to put that psycho in prision for killing people.

GreenFlame

I will be adjusting fight depending for players, but to keep setting constraints. It would be nice to have at least someone able to attack at this rather long ranges.

Laughing Ocelots

With the Guns Everywhere rules, would Lyssa be able to use guns? It brings firearms down to Simple weapons, which wizards aren't technically proficient with, exactly, but if she were able to use them, she certainly would.

mjrbatou

the only 'wild west' character I can think of offhand is Jo, who uses 2 custom built desert eagles (I think those are the pistols).  Though Meg dresses more in a western theme (and has handled a sniper rifle).

GreenFlame

I will allow a free proficiency with early one handed firearms but investing into common weapons proficiency can go a long way.

mjrbatou

oh, right, spheres mix up character creation so all sorts of new/different terms are used.

the firearms list on d20pfsrd aren't that much more powerful than a longbow (and shorter range)...

I'd potentially try making a sniper, but wouldn't have the range until at least 3rd level (lack of proficiency...i think)

GreenFlame

It's better to compare them to crossbows, and they aren't much more powerful. If you want you are free to build an archer or crossbow man. Heck, a light crossbow is always an excellent item for low level wizard.

Laughing Ocelots

Still working on some of the finer points for Lyssa, but she should be able to contribute to combat? Starting out she can’t really afford a ranged weapon unfortunately, but not a big issue.

GreenFlame

Fire lance is just 2.5 gp, Air repeater costs 60 gp, a light crossbow goes for 35 gp, spears will run you 1~2 gp a pace, depending on if you want long or short ones, and lastly Sling is free.

Laughing Ocelots

As I look things over, would the older Souldrinker prestige class be acceptable? It's a little less religiously focused than the more recent version, and while I really want to go for the firearms proficiency, the newer one's feat reqs are a bit... squeezy. Just asking to feel out where Lyssa should start and if she can cover the initial ranged damage dealing role.
