Nico is the traditional curmudgeonly Goth Girl with a deadpan humor full of sarcasm and wit.  Unfortunately, due to various events of her life, she's been left with significant trust issues, and generally keeps people emotionally distant.  Still, in times of stress, she often seeks comfort in less emotionally healthy ways.  While not mean spirited her attitude and personality can sometimes catch people off-guard, making them defensive and keeping them at bay.

Biography

Even in her young age Nico was something of a social outcast, preferring solitude to the company of others at her schools.  Her affluent parents were aloof with raising their daughter, and spent most of their time dragging her along to various fundraising events, or other social gatherings.  Fashion, she learned early on, was an easy way to avoid social interaction with others when she didn't want it.  While she didn't pay a lot of attention to school, she did spend some time learning things that interested her.  She was only fourteen when Thanos had snapped half of the population out of existence.  That half included her and both of her parents, which had interrupted plans that had been long in the making.

After the five years had passed and they had been returned roughly to the same place that they had left it in her parents began working a plan into motion that was already postponed far longer than they had intended.  They had been secretly working for Dormamu, and with the world plunged into chaos with the return of half of the population of earth they decided now was a good time to attempt to enact their plan.  Dormamu had directed them to perform a ritual in Hong Kong, one of the remaining locations shielding the planet from his influence using Nico's mother's natural affinity for Blood Magic.  Nico went with them to Hong Kong on another of their "business trips" to become their unwitting blood sacrifice.

Hidden away in one of their secret covens beneath one of their homes, Tina Minoru, her mother, lured Nico with the promise of explaining some of their family's secret history.  Her father, Robert, hit her from behind, leaving her unconscious.  She awoke on a ceremonial altar, tied down while her father and mother performed some kind of ritual.  She could feel the dark magic in the air around her.  She struggled against the restraints and screamed at her parents, but they did not respond, not until her mother approached the altar with the Staff of One in hand.  Tina recited an incantation just before stabbing down towards Nico's heart with the staff.  Rather than the spike-like pole piercing her, Nico's body instead absorbed the staff, stealing the artifact away from her mother and ultimately subverting the blood ritual.  The force of the power caused her great pain and she fell into unconsciousness.

She awoke within the Hong Kong Sanctum, the very place her parents were trying to somehow destroy.  The Master of the Sanctum, Wong, eventually explained that Tina was a member of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, but that she had been corrupted by influence from Dormamu.  He did not explain what had ultimately happened to her parents, only that the other Masters had arrived shortly after the "sacrifice" took place and rescued Nico.  Wong allowed Nico to stay at the Sanctum, and soon she began to train to learn how to use her own inborn magical talents.  She learned quickly after a small scrape during a sparring session that when she sheds blood she can call forth the Staff of One from within her.  Wong, having witnessed the futility of keeping forbidden knowledge away from Dr. Strange, decided to carefully explain to Nico what the staff could do and what it was.  He warned her that it was dangerous magic to use and cautioned her against using it frivolously.  Of course, being a young, teenage girl that's exactly what she did.  Eventually Wong had no choice but to bar her from the Sanctum, casting her out into the world.  He still kept tabs on her and served as a mentor at times, popping up at random times in random places.



Superpowers & Equipment

General Appearance: Hrothgar bears a striking resemblance to his father. From the blond hair, to the massive build, the chiseled good looks and the baby blue eyes. And with Asgardian's being so long-lived, Hrothgar is often mistaken as Thor's brother for anyone who doesn't know who the two are. He tends to keep his hair short, as he saw a picture of his dad with his long, flowing locks and immediately vowed to never be caught dead looking like that. He's  also fond of a shaved head and a warrior's braid which he wears now. like his father, he usually lets his beard grow to a decent length before he starts to trim it. Hrothgar is covered from neck to ankle in tattoos, with almost all of them being Asgardian.

Personality and History

Hrothgar is a rather cheerful person. Not much can get him down and he's usually seen with a smile on his face. Especially if some form of alcohol is nearby; preferably in his hand or going down his throat. He's also a damn good friend, going to almost any lengths to help people close to him without ever asking for aid in return if he can help it. The same goes for the general public, as Hrothgar has been raised to be a hero, and will jump at the chance to help someone in need, even if it's something as simple as getting a kitten down from a tree. He can have a bit of a temper, but mainly manages to control it. Get him angry however, and it is a simply terrifying sight to behold. In combat, he tends to be rather unforgiving, and while he doesn't kill all of his opponents, the ones who live are in severe pain and he feels no remorse.

Biography

Some time after Thor and Jane Foster's "mutual" breakup, the God of Thunder was drowning his sorrows in the mead hall when a beautiful maiden and his mother's primary apprentice named Amora came in to do the same thing. The two bonded over drink and stories about Frigga, their lives, the state of Asgard before and after Malekith's attack, and more.

It wasn't long before the physical attraction between them grew into something more, and they began a relationship. It was a passionate affair, and enough for Thor to divide his time heavily between Asgard and Midgard. Eventually, Amora became pregnant with Thor's child. When he was born, he was named Hrothgar, although his birth was kept secret at the time from all except the royal family(excluding Loki) and a few close attendants due to all of the chaos surrounding the nine realms.

Hrothgar grew like a weed, and excelled at his training in both combat and magic. He grew used to seeing his father sporadically, as he would often go away to combat evil with the Avengers or to protect Asgard and be gone for long stretches of time before returning for a while only to leave again. Years later, when Hela brought her armies back from the dead, Hrothgar despite his youth, assisted Heimdall and his mother in helping protect the Asgardians and ferry them into hiding. He even took down some of the undead warriors.

Eventually, his father was forced to bring about Ragnarok to kill his aunt Hela. And while Asgard was destroyed, it was the only way. The remaining Asgardians escaped on the Grandmaster's ship, and headed to Earth to settle, only to be attacked on the way by Thanos for the Tesseract, which Loki had stolen. After killing half of them and taking the stone, Thanos spared Thor and let the remaining half of the Asgardian's leave, including Valkyrie, Amora, and Hrothgar. They made it to Earth and settled in Norway, forming New Asgard and waiting for Thor to return to them. He didn't get the chance until after Thanos.

Until after the Decimation. Many Asgardian's were the victim of the snap, including his mother. All the magic that danced at her fingertips couldn't save her from God who wielded Infinity. For five years, Hrothgar went without his mother, and her death, as well as the trillions of other lives the Avengers failed to save drove his father into a depression; one that it was impossible to pull him out of. Despite his youth, Hrothgar took to helping Valkyrie keep New Asgard running, as well as taking time off to replace his father as an Asgardian hero. He was young and rough around the edges, but determined and highly skilled.

After the Avengers traveled through time to retrieve the stones and Thanos followed them back with his armies, Hrothgar, dubbing himself "Godbrand" joined the fight, doing a decent amount of damage to the troops along with the other gathered heroes. Iron Man's sacrifice saved the universe, and after the fight was done, Hrothgar helped to rebuild not only New Asgard, but helped relief efforts around the world and other planets. He has even joined the Avengers, filling in the "God" spot left vacant by his father while he was out in space. And he's been doing a damn good job of it too.

Royal Asgardian Physiology - Hrothgar is not only a pureblooded, Asgardian. The blood he is descended from is that of the most powerful familes of Asgard. His is son of Thor, Grandson of Odin, Great-Grandson of Bor, Great-Great Grandson of Buri. His blood is that of Kings. This means that while like all Asgardian's, Hrothgar is far heavier, more dense, and with a much thicker bone structure than humans that attributes their incredible strength and durability; his royal lineage means he is far more powerful than even the strongest of other Asgardian's.

Super-Strength - Hrothgar possesses strength similar to the legendary might of his father and the rest of his line. He is capable of easily lifting great weights and massive objects, striking with extreme force capable of effecting beings like Hulk, and causing localized tremors by hitting the ground.

Nigh-Invulnerable - Hrothgar is as tough as they come, and can withstand explosives, energy weapons, and strikes from superstrong enemies without injury. He is even tough enough to survive in the vacuum of space and underneath the pressures of the deep ocean.

Enhanced Longevity - Asgardian's aren't truly immortal, but they live incredibly long lives. Odin lived to be more than 5,000, so it is assumed Hrothgar will live to at least that long if he doesn't fall in battle.

Superhuman Speed - Hrothgar's natural speed coupled with years of training allows him to move at velocities far surpassing that of most races found throughout the galaxy. In short bursts he can move faster than normal eyes can follow, and can run, jump, and generally move much faster than normal, although not on the level of speedsters.

Superhuman Reflexes - Godbrand can not only move at superhuman speed, but possesses the necessary reflexes to react to his surroundings at a high speed as well. For example he can dodge or block energy projectiles and react to high-speed assaults from superhuman and highly trained enemies.

Superhuman Agility - Hrothgar possess godly balance and coordination, and is able to move and contort his body to the best positions during combat.

Healing Factor - All Asgardian's possess a highly increased metabolism, allowing them to heal from wounds to a higher degree than humans, as well as at a much faster rate. Although he can't naturally replace organs or limbs, anything less than that will be healed extremely fast, getting Hrothgar back in fighting shape in no time at all.

Flight - Hrothgar is capable of flight fast enough to not only reach orbital velocities but to allow him to fly through space to other planets as well.

Primal Asgardian Magic - As each Asgardian heir commands a force of the universe, like Thor with lightning, Hrothgar due to his mothers magic coursing through his veins has inherited the command of magic itself. Unlike most magic users, whether humans like Doctor Strange or Asgardian like his grandmother Frigga, Hrothgar has an innate command of and deep connection with the very essence of magic and does not need years of study and research to understand the deeper secrets of it. He can manipulate already existing magical energy as well as create his own to fuel spells, charms, illusions, transformations, and so much more. While he is still growing into his powers, he is speculated to become as powerful in his own right as the rest of his line.

Baneblade - Following in his familial tradition, Thor had the dwarf Eitri once again re-light the forge of Nidavellir to craft Hrothgar a weapon worthy of a King of Asgard. He chose a massive black sword to honor the fallen Heimdall. Due to it's construction in the heart of a neutron star and made from Uru, the weapon is nearly indestructible, just like Mjolnir, Gungnir, and Stormbreaker. It can also be used to channel Hrothgar's magical powers and to help him control the Bitfrost better. He has enchanted it in the vein of Mjolnir, so those unworthy cannot wield it, and it will always return to him. He uses magic to dull the blade in flight so it doesn't turn into a flying buzzsaw unless he's against enemies he can use lethal force on.

Skills

All-Speak - Like most Asgardian's, Hrothgar is able to understand a large amount of languages from Earth languages to alien ones. He can speak them as well, but only the ones his vocal chords can make the right sounds for.

Spell Weaver - Despite his connection to magic, Godbrand has been trained in it's proper use his entire life by his mother Amora, the Enchantress. From the basics such as crafting runes, spell circles, and mystic enchantments; to teleportation, illusions, and more. His understanding of magic only strengthens his natural abilities and allows him more creative ways to use his power.

Master Combatant - Has has been trained in all manner of melee combat by his father from childhood. Unarmed, sword, shield, bow, mace, definitely the hammer. Godbrand has been trained in every way Thor was, in every way Thor knows how, to prepare his son for his calling. Hrothgar has also been in a number of battles to further hone his skill in combat.

Highly Intelligent - Due to Asgardian Magic being more compared to Quantum Physics and higher realms of scientific knowledge than what humans generally know as magic and sorcery, it takes a high intellect to be able to comprehend it. Hrothgar's deep understanding of his own peoples magic means he is capable of standing on even ground and even surpassing scientists and thinkers of lower levels of advancement like Earth and Sakaar.

Super-Strength - Hrothgar possesses strength similar to the legendary might of his father and the rest of his line. He is capable of easily lifting great weights and massive objects, striking with extreme force capable of effecting beings like Hulk, and causing localized tremors by hitting the ground.

Nigh-Invulnerable - Hrothgar is as tough as they come, and can withstand explosives, energy weapons, and strikes from superstrong enemies without injury. He is even tough enough to survive in the vacuum of space and underneath the pressures of the deep ocean.

Enhanced Longevity - Asgardian's aren't truly immortal, but they live incredibly long lives. Odin lived to be more than 5,000, so it is assumed Hrothgar will live to at least that long if he doesn't fall in battle.

Superhuman Speed - Hrothgar's natural speed coupled with years of training allows him to move at velocities far surpassing that of most races found throughout the galaxy. In short bursts he can move faster than normal eyes can follow, and can run, jump, and generally move much faster than normal, although not on the level of speedsters.

Superhuman Reflexes - Godbrand can not only move at superhuman speed, but possesses the necessary reflexes to react to his surroundings at a high speed as well. For example he can dodge or block energy projectiles and react to high-speed assaults from superhuman and highly trained enemies.

Superhuman Agility - Hrothgar possess godly balance and coordination, and is able to move and contort his body to the best positions during combat.

Healing Factor - All Asgardian's possess a highly increased metabolism, allowing them to heal from wounds to a higher degree than humans, as well as at a much faster rate. Although he can't naturally replace organs or limbs, anything less than that will be healed extremely fast, getting Hrothgar back in fighting shape in no time at all.

Flight - Hrothgar is capable of flight fast enough to not only reach orbital velocities but to allow him to fly through space to other planets as well.

Primal Asgardian Magic - As each Asgardian heir commands a force of the universe, like Thor with lightning, Hrothgar due to his mothers magic coursing through his veins has inherited the command of magic itself. Unlike most magic users, whether humans like Doctor Strange or Asgardian like his grandmother Frigga, Hrothgar has an innate command of and deep connection with the very essence of magic and does not need years of study and research to understand the deeper secrets of it. He can manipulate already existing magical energy as well as create his own to fuel spells, charms, illusions, transformations, and so much more. While he is still growing into his powers, he is speculated to become as powerful in his own right as the rest of his line.

Baneblade - Following in his familial tradition, Thor had the dwarf Eitri once again re-light the forge of Nidavellir to craft Hrothgar a weapon worthy of a King of Asgard. He chose a massive black sword to honor the fallen Heimdall. Due to it's construction in the heart of a neutron star and made from Uru, the weapon is nearly indestructible, just like Mjolnir, Gungnir, and Stormbreaker. It can also be used to channel Hrothgar's magical powers and to help him control the Bitfrost better. He has enchanted it in the vein of Mjolnir, so those unworthy cannot wield it, and it will always return to him. He uses magic to dull the blade in flight so it doesn't turn into a flying buzzsaw unless he's against enemies he can use lethal force on.

Skills

All-Speak - Like most Asgardian's, Hrothgar is able to understand a large amount of languages from Earth languages to alien ones. He can speak them as well, but only the ones his vocal chords can make the right sounds for.

Spell Weaver - Despite his connection to magic, Godbrand has been trained in it's proper use his entire life by his mother Amora, the Enchantress. From the basics such as crafting runes, spell circles, and mystic enchantments; to teleportation, illusions, and more. His understanding of magic only strengthens his natural abilities and allows him more creative ways to use his power.

Master Combatant - Has has been trained in all manner of melee combat by his father from childhood. Unarmed, sword, shield, bow, mace, definitely the hammer. Godbrand has been trained in every way Thor was, in every way Thor knows how, to prepare his son for his calling. Hrothgar has also been in a number of battles to further hone his skill in combat.

Highly Intelligent - Due to Asgardian Magic being more compared to Quantum Physics and higher realms of scientific knowledge than what humans generally know as magic and sorcery, it takes a high intellect to be able to comprehend it. Hrothgar's deep understanding of his own peoples magic means he is capable of standing on even ground and even surpassing scientists and thinkers of lower levels of advancement like Earth and Sakaar.

One thing and one thing only technically speaking with him adbicating the throne to Valkeryie he isn't the heir to the throne anymore.

Besides that It's got my stamp of approval. Though I think we'll say because of time Travel Shenanigans Godbrand is from a small alt reality. It will tie in to Kang being the new big bad (coming about because of the Avengers messing with the time frame) and will be another "ghost" of the whole monkeying with time thing.

So when Thor get to Earth he will not know that Godbrand is his kid nor have any recollection of his mother.

As things in the world began to move rapidly he felt the world merge, suddenly seeing the things his grandfather had only hinted at.  There was worry but even as the younger version of his grandfather battled on his condition only worsened despite how hard he tried to push through it.  With family and friends around him disappearing in the snap of the Mad Titan he wanted to help.  The problem was by now he could barely keep a jog on a treadmill despite his will to continue on.  The doctors had grave concerns for him even as the Avengers triumphed in the end.  His grandfather surfaced to reach out those in Wakanda for their help with Holt.  After extensive testing and a long few weeks that concluded that the rare disease was likely to take him slowly and painfully over the next few years, that wasn't something Steve Rodgers would not stand for as he looked for solutions and answers with Wakanda's help.  Finally they decided to try and find a cure, a way to repair his body and ride him of the disease with the key being Steve's special DNA, given to him by the Super Soldier Serum decades ago.  Through the weeks they developed the cure he needed and finally gave him the treatment.  It was made specifically for him to reverse the disease but the affects it had were greater than they had expected.  Holt came out stronger, faster, and more durable than he could have dreamed just like his grandfather had in New York. 

After extensive tests it was confirmed that Holt could finally begin his real training to bring the Rodgers back in the public eye, with Sam Wilson doning the shield there was time for him to develop himself.  Lucky for him there were all the stories his grandfather had passed down and the watchful eyes of the Avengers to help him along the way.  As if it was a duty he joined the US Army and cut his teeth there as the Avengers made sure he wasn't quite known serving under another name.  Just like he had in his youth he pushed for further and faster at every chance as he served in very dangerous places doing jobs only a quiet professional could.  It was after seven years he was instead recruited by SHIELD to be something greater than a soldier and he took the chance.  The Cult of Thanos and the changing world still needed heroes and he would gladly wield the shield like his grandfather before him.

Essentially your another time displaced kid. Since it seems that the "act" of Steve going to live with Peggy in the past doesn't seem to change the history Bucky and Sam know.

So he probably knows them as Uncle Sam and Uncle Bucky... they don't know him at all.

Her hair falls in a chocolate sheet to the middle of her back when left free but is often drawn back in a braid or ponytail to keep it out of the way when she's "working" and she looks out on the world from eyes that are normally a deep, drowning brown but that shift to a nearly glowing amber when she's using her abilities. Her sense of fashion is as mercurial as some of her moods and it's not unusual to find her in anything from comfortable jeans to skin tight skirts to yoga pants and anything in between!

Personality:

Life has taught Ryder to be distrustful of anyone new coming into her life. If they aren't vetted by someone she already trusts, they will be treated with suspicion until such time as she decides they've proven themselves trustworthy...a process some never manage to get through. With those she does trust, however, she relaxes, letting down her guard enough for them to see glimpses of the smart, kind, generous young woman she might have been if the Snap had never happened. Instead she's grown into a clever, fast talking, smart-ass who still manages to put other people before herself on a very select basis.

Biography:

Until the Snap, Ryder's life was actually relatively unremarkable. Her father had been an English teacher at the local high school and her mother had been an obstetric nurse. They had a cozy home, taken vacations during the summer when her father was off from school and she'd done boring things like taking dance classes and playing soccer. Then, when she was 15, the Snap happened and her life, as she knew it, came crashing to a halt.

Unlike her, her parents hadn't been taken but had been left behind to try and pick up the pieces of losing their daughter and a large portion of their extended families (along with half the rest of the world) as well as the chaos that followed. By the time she was returned, her former home was dark, her parents gone having moved across the country to try and run away from their pain. When she was finally able to track them down, it was to find two completely different people, people who had chose to become religious fanatics in their grief and who made it clear she was going to remain dead to them...or could be made dead in actuality if she was foolish enough to darken their doorstep again.

It was her first introduction to the Cult of Thanos.

It was in arguing with her parents, trying to convince them to take her back, that she discovered she wasn't quite the girl who had disappeared and returned. Without warning, her father's hand struck out, looking to strike her and leaving all three of them staring at each other in shock when it passed through her without her even feeling the momentum of it. Before they could argue more, or seek to hurt her in some more permanent fashion...she ran.

For ten years she's been making her way on the streets. The first months had been terrible as she'd tried to figure out her new "powers" while also trying to find someplace safe to sleep and at least semi-decent food to eat. Once she had a basic handle on her new abilities, the rest became easier and she found that the morals of a teenager could be shaped by necessity.

Becoming a thief was the obvious option and one that has served her well.

Matter manipulation: she has no idea how it works but she can make her body insubstantial enough that objects can pass through her, or she can pass through them allowing her to do things like walking through walls or evading violence by simply not letting hands/weapons touch her
Physical Healing: Whatever it is that lets her move through walls seems to reset her body each time she does it, healing physical damage like cuts/scrapes/broken bones in the process
Slowed Aging: She hasn't realized this yet, but the same things that heals her physically when she manipulates matter seems to always bring her body back to an aging set-point somewhere in her early 20's

Master Thief: Granted, it's probably cheating when you can simply reach into an ATM or walk into a bank vault but she's yet to find anything she can't steal and she's developed quite a mind for planning her heists for efficiency and to evade detection.

Evasion: Over the years she's learned unique ways to spot and evade those looking for her (especially the police or government types that just want to use her as some sort of pawn).

Tracking: If you're going to evade those following you, it helps to be able to spot and track them and she's got years of practice doing just that.

Eric can be rather annoying as he seems to try to find the bright side to everything.  He can on occasion be caught brooding when he is alone.  He has been a mutant for most of his life at least that is what he remembers, he still sees himself as an outsider but wants everyone to fit in and tries hard to make it so.

Biography:

Born as a very gifted child, to the parents of a Biochemist and a Police Commissioner.   Starting out as a skinny nerd, his intellect and speed multiplied at a dramatic fold to the point of him graduating from High School at the age of 16, taking his GED, he went to college or took a lot of prep courses, prior to entering college he pursued a masters degree in Biophysics and at the urging of his father with a concentration in Velocity Mechanics.  He later went into Psychology and ended up working as a sex therapist for a while.   These courses all seemed to be geared towards helping him understand is abilities after the Snap return.  He wasn’t expecting to come back with powers, now he had to figure out what to do with them.
