Some would say that the cosmos are infinite, but you know better. From the eternal realm of Elysia you have gazed down upon the other eleven realms and seen infinity in its totality. You are a Celestial, and among the twelve realms your people are among the most powerful. The humans of Gaia, the mortal realm, have built enter mythologies surrounding their brief interactions with your kind and have worshiped you as Gods. Your realm is the shining crown jewel of the cosmos, the realm most sought after, and the realm most responsible. Governed by the Elysium, an assembly of three Celestials, your people have defended Elysia from threats external and, albeit rarely, internal for countless eons; a defense which has on many occasions spanned to the other realms to keep the peace in the cosmos, for your people are not the only beings of power out there. For untold time you have lived in relative peace and luxury in Elysia. As a Celestial you have experienced life in a realm where thought itself can become reality, where magic exists in plenty, and creatures more fantastical than imagination itself thrive.

It was what you would consider an average day when the Sentinels of the Platinum Legion came to you, and surrounded you. Why the most elite Celestials, those chosen and trained to guard and serve the Elysium exclusively had come to you was a mystery. From their ranks a young man appeared and presented a document sealed by the Elysium. Once presented the herald cracked the seal and read from the document:

"By order of the Elysium, you, _______________, are commanded to surrender yourself without resistance to the custody of the Platinum Legion. You will be taken to the Morningstar Facility and held until your tribunal before the Elysium in three days time. An attempt to circumvent this directive will be considered an act of treason against Elysia and its people, and you will be subject to the discretionary tactics and judgement of the Platinum Legion. Your are also hereby required to relinquish your Armaments of Divinity, and cooperate fully with investigation into and seizure of your estate. Cooperation entails fully divulging all information requested of you, and volunteering information which you in good conscious believe to be relevant to these orders. Refusal to give or omission of requested or relevant information will be likewise considered an act of treason against Elysia and its people, and will carry the aforementioned actions of reprisal."

The herald closed the proclamation and stepped back while the Sentinels stepped forward. Even if you wanted to resist it would be pointless here, maybe you could take two or three of them, but a quick count revealed a dozen; it would be hopeless. And so you were chained, and within the mystic chains of the legion you were rendered little more than a mere mortal. Your natural celestial powers were drained from you and suppressed by the magic of the shackles. A mask that served as a muzzle was placed over your face so that not a word of magic could be uttered from your lips. You watched helplessly as those around you gasped and gawked, watching as you were taken captive by your own government. As promised you were escorted to the Morningstar Facility, the highest security detention facility in Elysia, reserved for the worst criminals and beasts in the cosmos. Thankfully you were taken to the upper most floor and detained in one of its stark white cells. Your chains and muzzle were removed, but then you were left alone. Eventually you were visited by a Sentinel who began asking you for information, and whom refused to answer any of your questions. Then you were left alone again.

Three days in solitary confinement, left with only your thoughts as to what was going on, passed excruciatingly slowly. But as promised on the third day your cell opened and once more you were shackled and muzzled. You were taken to the Elysium and presented in the great hall, but not alone. With you five other Celestials, each bound and contained in the same way, each forced to their knees as you were and offered to the Elysium. On their floating disks of pure white the three members of the assembly drifted forward. It was Enoch who came the closest. His disk floated but five feet from you, and slowly surfed the air in front of each of you before returning to the center:

"I speak for the Elysium in this matter. Under normal circumstance, as is protocol, you would be allowed to voice your case in this tribunal. However, in this case, we have thoroughly reviewed your case, and we have sparred no resource in investigating your crimes. We have no reason to believe the words that would come from your mouths, and so you will be permitted to speak none. We are ashamed of your actions, and deeply saddened by them. No matter how deep we delved into your lives we could find no reason for any of you to commit the atrocities that you have. Nevertheless, the evidence of your collusion and conspiracy is absolute and that we can not ignore. We have carefully weighed your past deeds, and found that among us there is dissent in how to proceed. Your treason demand extinguishment of your light. But there are those who cast much favor in your direction, and instead demand that rather than being extinguished you are to merely be confined. Yet we find imprisonment, even for eternity, to be too lenient a sentence for that which you have done. Therefore we have come to what we believe a fair compromise to be. By the absolute authority of the Elysium, we find you each guilty of treason. By our power you are banished from Elysia for all eternity. From your soul, your immortal light will be stripped, denying you travel across the realms, and you will live out the rest of your fleeting lives on Gaia. You have turned your back on Elysia and its people, and now we turn our backs on you."

The air behind the six of you crackled with energy and ripped open into a large, powerful portal. Ethereal energy swirled between the Elysium and lashed out to each of you, digging into your very souls and removing part of your light. As the portal pulled each of you in, your bonds disintegrated, but not before you were helplessly trapped within the drag force of the rift. Moments stretched infinity before time itself snapped back to normal, and you found yourself plummeting towards a surface, pushed by the unrelenting force of the portal. In the last moment you came to a stop, as you slammed into the earth with tremendous force, the wind knocked from your lungs. As you turned your eyes to the sky, you watched as others from your tribunal descended from the sky in fiery balls that impacted nearby...

Welcome!
Hello and welcome writers and friends alike!

The Banished is a world that is loosely based on various mythologies, settings, and other sources. It is set to take place (primarily?) in a modern day earth setting, while maintaining elements of the fantastical. We'll be playing a series of cast out deityesque beings, that are meant to be loose interpretations of mythological gods. That is to say, you could play Thor if you wanted, or your interpretation of Thor, but the characters should all be rooted in some mythological deity so that everyone is on roughly the same playing field. The mythos' that are open for play are limitless, however it'd be nice (but absolutely not required) to stick to Norse, Greek, or Egyptian. This sandbox game is meant to explore the lives of these individuals after their banishment, and what they're going to do from there. With no information on why they were cast out, and from their perspective having done nothing wrong (certainly nothing to warrant accusations of treason and this kind of punishment) what will they do next. Of course, while on Gaia they will find that things are not all what they seem. We'll be placing this game in the bondage board.

The cast should be prepared to explore the lives of their characters, and their interactions as the only Celestials around - the only people that can ever truly understand. They'll need to figure out what their lives look like now. Ideally we should explore the mystery of what happened to them. And of there will be plenty of other things for the cast to interact with, after all, the twelve realms are always moving, and maybe there is more going on out there than just their banishment...

This game will only feature a cast of six characters, and including me that means I will be recruiting only five players. That said I would love to see many submissions so that I can take those characters that seem the most interesting, so even if you see several applications already posted, don't be afraid to toss your hat into the ring... You might be just what we're looking for!

We will be utilizing face claims for this game, however artwork to supplement those claims will also be allowed. For dramatic action encounters (a.k.a. combat) we'll be using the rule of "reasonable adult writers that want to tell a cool story", and in all cases, I as the storyteller reserve the right for a final say in how events play out if they need to be arbitrated. Characters are meant to be extraordinary, but not infallible. Each character will be allowed three powers that should fit with their theme and inspiration. Remember we want cool and fun, not uninteractable and dull. Each character will also have a Armament of Divinity (for Thor, this might be Mjolnir) which will have two additional powers that the characters have while they have said armament... However no character will start the game with their armament. I strongly encourage players to divide their powers, and put one of their "most powerful" abilities on their item, so they aren't completely front loaded. Characters that want to be spellcasters will need to work with me so we can find a happy balance; I'll work with you, if you'll work with me. All Celestials are "superhuman" in terms of speed, strength, and endurance. However if you want to be more powerful than the average celestial in these regards it may be a power... And you may dedicate multiple power 'slots' to be even further attuned to a particular trait if you so desire.

If you're interested, please grab a character sheet, fill it out, and post it here for review! Once I'm ready to close recruitment I will announce the selections for the game.

Hello friends! Yay for it catching your interest. Excited to see what you might come up with. :) A Bast would be pretty neat, I do love her. I've been pondering a Loki myself, but still a bit unsure.

Hehe I think I'm leaning towards a Kali type myself, only because I have the perfect faceclaim xD

The Bast Archetype is almost perfect for this type of storytelling, at least with the way I'd want to write her (and gods I love Egyptian mythology) Oooh Loki...*delighted grin*

This may have tickled my muse...would a female Ares be acceptable?

Also, when they get to Earth/Gaia are they in predetermined "lives?" Is the starting point right after they get cast down and them getting used to mortality?

Aethyrium

A female Ares would be absolutely acceptable!

Yes, the story should start basically in the moments following all of them crashing down onto Gaia. After that, how they choose to go about their new lives will be up to them, and what they want to do. No predetermined lives, they quite literally just fall out of the sky, and have to make sense of what the hell just happened, and what they want to do next.

Kadigan

So I went a different way. I wanted to go all hyper and spazzy and went with a Hermes instead. I couldn't find a good genderbent Hermes picture, so...Jay Garrick to the rescue! I'll go hide now.

Hermes

The Banished Character Sheet

Character Name: Beatrix "Trix" Semreh
Inspiration: Hermes
Nature: High Flying Wheeler Dealer Goddess.
Demeanor: Your super awesomest best friend.

Faceclaim: Alexa Bliss.

Physical Description: Incredibly athletic, shorter, lean, made for running, sprinting, flying, sneaking into smaller places. Blonde hair that she keeps streaked with whatever color flits into her head at the moment

Personality: Hermes is, for all intents and purposes, a glory hound. She wants to live fast, die never, get into trouble but let you take the blame, and savor all the perks and enjoyments that go with it. She’s never met a caper she didn’t love, never met a race she wouldn’t enjoy and never ever misses posing for a sculpture. She doesn’t like to admit it, but there’s a part of her that actually enjoys being needed by some people for just the sake of being needed, not just the fun of having a lark, though she loves that just as much too. She comes off as selfish and can be a bit demanding and goofy and incredibly flighty, but her heart’s…mostly..in the right place.
.

History: Hermes was born to Big Daddy Zeus and a Wood Nymph, which should tell you right there that she was born to get into trouble from the get go. She displayed an aptitude for creativity right away, inventing a lyre from a turtle shell and some sinew. When she wasn’t annoying the other gods and goddeses with her horrible attempts to actually play the thing, she spent a lot of time on Earth, learning from all the various people Daddy said were horrible and beneath her. From the Nymphs she learned how to get into all those secret places others didn’t want you too. Centaurs taught her how to run faster then any living creature. She flew with harpies and swam with water dryads.

Hermes even tried her best to be more helpful to the humans then some of her fellow immortals, helping Perseus out (not just cause they were dating at the time) by loaning the sandals that she’d had made for her. She also took on some of the jobs no one else wanted, like ferrying the souls of the dead. They had the COOLEST stories, so often times they’d take a while getting there. It’s not like the dead complained, they weren’t particularly eager to get down there or anything. She acted as a messenger too, which gave her access to so many secrets.

Throughout history she stole, adventured, and generally saw every part of the world, underworld, and back again. For someone like her, immortalities become a bit of a drag, and she’s hoping for something really cool to happen soon.

Notable Achievement: Zeus once asked Hermes to rescue his mistress Io. Zeus himself had an affair with her and turned her into a cow, to hide her from his wife that was looking for her priestess, IO.  After being forced to give Hera the new cow Io, Hera gave her over to Argo, her multi eyed servant. Hermes found her way to Argo and distracted the multi eyed one with some super sweet lyre lyrics, and a healthy amount of cleavage. After that, it was easy as pie to separate Argo’s head from his body, return the priestess, and save the day. She may, or may not, have seduced IO after she was turned back into a human.

Powers
  • Open Seasame. Doors and locks have a way of just…opening for her. Especially when she asks politely

  • Super Speed. Hermes can approach speeds that mortals and immortals alike can only dream of, even without any outside assistance.

  • Hat Space Similar to the idea of "Hammer Space" she has the ability to access items she's "borrowed" from other people. Currently limited to mortal realm items, as her divine storehouse is in the Realm

Armament of Divinity: Talaria
Description.
  • Flight. The winged sandals allow her the power of flight
  • Invisiblity Some people say it was a cloak that gave her this ability, but that’s just silly. Sandals can do two things.

Cold Heritage

I was thinking Czernobog by way of American Gods. He's kind of a Slavic Thor in the show, but with the lightning and storm aspects replaced by darkness and curses. At least, Thos insofar as one of his main things is hitting people in the head with a hammer. Yea or nay to throwing something out there and see if works?
Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

I can't think of any reason why he wouldn't be applicable, so yah, you're more than welcome to draw something up, and we can see where it goes! :)

After much thought, I've decided to write up Shu~ Egyptian God of the Wind and Father to Nut. He'll be posted for your consideration by tomorrow. I do have a question though. In mythology, he was invisible and responsible for keeping Nut and Geb separate. Would it be alright to include invisibility as either an innate power or as part of his Armament?

Meet Shu AKA Siamun El Masry

For Your Consideration
The Banished Character Sheet

Character Name: Siamun El Masry (The Egyptian) HA!
Inspiration: Shu (Egyptian God of Air)
Nature: Nurturing yet Fierce
Demeanor: Introspective, Tempermental, Secretive, An Explorer.

Faceclaim: Mohamed ElBably

Physical Description: Tall and slender, he has the physical appearance of health and vitality and looks to be Arabic with startling gray-green eyes. He has a tribal tattoo of a Phoenix on his left pectoral muscle as he feels it represents both Air and Fire, the progenitors of his GodHood, much like the ostrich feather from long ago. A scar mars his left calf.

Personality: Shu is the wind, ever-shifting, from the warmest breeze to the coldest gale and everything in between. With that being said, he struggles to control his temper though it is not a battle he loses often. He is studious and loves to learn: to seek out hidden knowledge and hoard it against further need and travels the world searching out quiet, remote places that only the wind and sun can find, not because he despises humanity but because he feels like a failure and despairs of ever finding his way back to the life he should STILL have.

Shu dislikes injustice, despises prejudiced behavior and struggles with an innate sense of fairness that is somewhat misplaced. After all, the world he finds himself in NOW is not like before and he sometimes has trouble telling the difference. That marks him as a trifle unsteady, much like the wind.

History: He was one of the first Gods of Egypt as his Father, Atum, was the Primordial first. This meant that he had power, deep wells of power that allowed him to separate his children (Nut and Geb) when they chose to ignore their roles. Of course, Gods fall out of favor all the time and newer, younger ones take up the mantles that used to be held under one overreaching arch. His power faded so that he was not as known, not as loved, not as worshipped.

He became all but a memory.

Still, he held pride of place, being the wind and akin to Atlas who held the world, but his time was spent more on the daily vagaries of life beyond keeping the peace. He learned to travel far in but a blink, to see the land, to rest in the desert, to read the stars and converse with the feathered ones. In fact, he learned to be HUMAN long before the mortals knew what they WERE. He was not flashy, performed no great feats...but he learned and he changed.

Notable Achievement: Due to his very being, he was responsible for allowing life to exist on earth by keeping the sky and land separate. He was also the reason for infinite duality: right and wrong, good and evil, light and dark. Without him, NOTHING would be as it now is.

Powers

  • Control the Winds  Can call up any sort of wind from breezes to Hurricanes
  • Far Seeing  Can hone in on any known location or Person in the world
  • Super Strength  He had to hold the sky up and the Earth down, didn't he?

Armament of Divinity: Shu'a  (A small golden ostrich feather on a chain)

  • Bird Tongue  Can converse with any feathered friend though they are a gossipy bunch
  • Invisibility  Easily fades from view and remains so for as long as he wills it

Nnnooooo.  My group game hiatus was going so well and something like this has to be posted?!  *sulks*

Hypothetically (HYPOTHETICALLY!!!) how in love with you are staying with Egyptian/Greek/Norse?  I confess a couple ideas come to mind, but Tezcatlipoca charms me the most.

Hypothetically.

Truthfully, it seems to be the least popular part of the game... So I've just gone ahead and removed it entirely. The purpose was to keep it open, and that's what the people want. So bring me your gods, regardless of where they come.

@Barbara & Wolfling... Thoughts on your sheets shortly, soon as I sip some coffee and wake up a touch so I can read properly. :D

*squints at Ink* Hrm, suppose that means I'm expressing interest as well. Thinking possibly Fenrir, might go something more off the wall. I'll think about it today.

The Banished Character Sheet

Character Name: Fen Ylfingr
Inspiration: Fenrir (AKA: Fenrisúlfr, Hróðvitnir, Vánagandr)
Nature: Cynical | Angry | Hurt
Demeanor: Confident | Cunning | Skilled

Faceclaim: Diego Barrueco

Physical Description: Sharply confident, Fen is not one to bare his throat. Meeting his eyes is uncomfortable for many, as within swirls a maelstrom of rage and hurt. He stands tall with pale skin, marked occasionally by freckles or scars. Although muscular his form is closer to lithe than that of a body builder, but foolish are they that doubt the strength of the wolf that so easily broke the fetters Leyding and Dromi.

Personality: Despite his bitterness, Fen can often be contemplative. He has a deep love of human books, especially classics, and a fondness for cooking. He despises traitors and those that turn against him, and he often comes off as arrogant, sarcastic, and snarky with a chip on his shoulder. He can be cruel, and is prone to moments of self-loathing or doubt. He's also surprisingly sensitive at times, cheeky, and quick to fall into banter if someone can gain his trust. He's jealous, envious, and at times a bit of a bastard... but you won't find anyone more loyal. He's as eager to spend time with friends as he is to get into a fight, and at this point mostly wants to know what the fuck is going on. He is also recklessly courageous and bound by a strict code of honor, even if other people don't always understand it.

History: Fenrir is, or at least was, a great monstrous wolf. Large enough it is said that he would be able to swallow the very sun itself. He grew at an astonishing pace and ran amuck throughout the realms, especially that of Elysia. It is this that makes him responsible for one of the few moments of internal fighting within the Celestials. Others grew weary of him, tired of his antics, his attitude, and the fact he managed to piss off almost everyone he met. That he was seemingly destined to keep growing and eventually swallow the realms come Ragnarök merely added to it, sowing distrust.

Knowing of his sense of honor and pride in himself, the Celestials devised a plan. Show us your strength, mighty Fenrir--destroy these fetters. And so he did. The first he judged easily, and with one kick broke free. The second fetter was made twice as strong, and the Celestials promised him great fame should he manage to break it. Although it took more exertion, this fetter, too, was broken. The third fetter was a trick, made by the dwarves, and Fenrir was rightfully suspicious of it. To make sure that he would be released should he be unable to break it, he asked the Celestials to have one of them place their arm in his mouth. Tyr accepted. And when Fenrir was unable to break Gleipnir, the Celestials rejoiced. They refused to release him, and Fenrir tore off Tyr's arm.

Fenrir howled, and his fury shook Elysia. Not everyone was in agreement about what to do with the wolf, and many argued that this plan was insane. Yet before anyone could decide to come to his aid, Fenrir grew strong enough to break Gleipnir. None would ever bind him again.

Notable Achievement: When he was bound with Gleipnir and bit Tyr's hand off, he spent many a year mourning. Angry at himself, at other Celestials... Why was this to be his fate, he wondered? Ragnarök was not near to approaching, and prophecy or not he had no intention of eating the sun. A resolution sorely tested by the actions of those that feared him. Gleipnir was the strongest of the fetters, created through impossible means, commissioned by the Celestials. It is said that no one and no thing would be able to break it, to shatter its bondage--and yet such was Fenrir's rage, hate, and ultimately his strength, that he did. The bindings snapped, torn asunder and felt the realm over. Fenrir then turned Gleipnir into his Armament. As a reminder... and a threat.

Powers
  • Sun Eater: They want to believe him capable of swallowing the light of the realms? So be it. Fen is able to swallow all light within an area around him, casting eternal darkness until he decides otherwise. The darkness does not impede his own eyes, seeing through it much like a wolf would a dark forest.
  • Resurgence : As a presumed destroyer of realms and destined killer of Odin, Fenrir is ridiculously hard to kill. Although he is not, necessarily, more durable than other Celestials... he is able to bounce back from wounds that would slay any other. The larger the wound the longer it takes him to heal it, but heal he will.
  • Vargr Form: Although in the mortal realm and truthfully, often in Elysia, he hangs about in the guise of a mortal, he is still more than capable of turning into a giant wolf. This form has three stages; that of a normal sized wolf, that of a vicious wolf-man which stands on two legs, and that of a giant dire wolf the size of a car.

Armament of Divinity: Lash of Gleipnir
Gleipnir is the binding that holds the mighty wolf Fenrir, forged by the dwarves in their realm of Niðavellir. It is as thin as a silk ribbon, but stronger than any iron chain. This lash is a piece of it, torn and fashioned into a whip by Fenrir. A not-so-subtle mocking to those that commissioned it, to turn the instrument of his bondage into a weapon for his use--it is also a reminder to Fenrir himself to keep his hurts close, and that even the most noble seeming can turn against you.
  • Unfettered Strength: Fenrir was able to break even the most difficult of fethers the dwarves were able to create. Strength is one of the things he is very rightfully famous for.
  • Realm Shaker: When Fenrir was bound, his howl of betrayal shook the very realm of Elysia. This ability allows him to let loose a terrifying howl, paralyzing those in hearing range with sheer, unrelenting terror.

Susano

The Banished Character Sheet

Character Name: Niko Uchiha
Inspiration: Susanoo-no-Mikoto
Nature: Creator|Guardian|Warrior
Demeanor: He craves adventure, new challenges and a good party to celebrate.

Faceclaim: Kenta Sakurai

Physical Description: Tall, ripped and built for speed. A ruggedly handsome Japanese man who stands ready for any challenge.

Personality: The least favorite of his father's children. He can be abrasive and belligerent or if you aren't so judgy he can open up to you, save your kingdom, go out seeking some thrills, battle great foes and do some amazingly stupid things that succeed beyond anyone's wildest expectations. He likes people, loves beautiful women and seeks to have a wonderful time unless no one is around. He can have days of introspection and training when he's alone. He only does the wild stuff when people are around, there is no point in achieving amazing results when there no one to confirm them; no one likes a braggart after all.

What he hates is easy, that would be family. Everyone remembers the argument between he and his sister as him terrorizing her into hiding in a cave for a week. The truth, they argued, she was losing the debate and in a tantrum decided to withhold the sun from the world for a week as a means of getting him kicked out of Takamagahara.. When he was on Earth he saved a princes by descending into Hell and killing any demon and corrupted dragon in his path. Thanks to his siblings he was 'making amends'.

History: Susanoo the storm god, younger brother of the sun goddess Amaterasu. He was born as his father Izanagi washed his nose. Susanoo, having been granted charge of the sea plain, was driven out of heaven because of his outrageous behavior at his sister’s court.

Susanoo descended into the land of Izumo in western Japan and killed an eight-headed dragon that had been terrorizing the countryside. From the tail of the dragon he recovered the marvelous sword Kusanagi (q.v.) that he presented to his sister and that later came to form part of the Imperial Treasures of Japan. Susanoo married the girl he had rescued from the dragon, and together they produced many generations of gods. The most famous of their offspring was Ōkuninushi, the “Master of the Great Land” (Izumo). Left with being caretaker of the dead and the seas, he's gotten a bit bored of this over the last few centuries. It really felt like a punishment. He 'promoted' some of his children and gave them some of his duties to 'see if they can cut it'.

Notable Achievement: He wandered the seas, discovered new plants, defeated a great eight headed dragon Yamata no Orochi, and discovered a sword in its tail. He brought stories of his adventures, the plants, and the famous sword Kusanagi as gifts to his sister. (Ok, he took the sword back because she was still as ungrateful as ever).

Powers
  • I am the Sea: Susanoo is god of the sea and lord of all its inhabitants. He can purify water, function perfectly at any depth and create tsunamis at will. Hunting large unruly sea dragons is another one of his duties. I'm looking at your children Ryujin.
  • Warrior Ideal The original Yojimbo. In a pantheon of gods who are polite, ordered and based around rituals, Susano is brazen, passionate, boisterous and larger than life. It gets him in a lot of trouble and kicked out of a lot of places. If he wants to get back in it seems like everyone and their brother has some army for him to fight or Godzilla sized monster for him to slay. After countless mortal lifetimes of this Susano can and has thrown down with the best of them..and he's still standing tall, telling the tales over drinks. Its a combination of vast strength, super reflexes and being able to improvise under duress...oh, and he's got the moves too.
  • I am the Way Like many psychopomps, Susanoo can traverse between dimensions, teleporting to where he needs to be. The Void, the Lands of the Dead, Maui...its all good.

Armament of Divinity: Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi ("Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven") also called the Grass Cutting Sword
Description. but its name was later changed to the more popular Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi ("Grass-Cutting Sword"). In folklore, the sword represents the virtue of valor. It is called Leaf-Cutter because Muramasa demonstrated its sharpness by hanging it in a river so that leaves would be sliced neatly in two as they flowed past the sword.
  • Lord of the Storm:Susano can create any kind of weather effect from warm summer showers, to cool breezes to tornadoes. He is know as the God of the Storm though and when he's angry its reflected in the weather.
  • Tempest in a Kettle: Susano is a wildcard in a land where everyone knows their place and standing. He is a chaotic god that can incite rage, anger, tantrums...all kinds of things that make all those orderly thinking gods lose it and behave poorly. There is a saying, no plan survives contact with Susano...he may have said that a few times to get it going.
