We can probably work that in, right now I am going to cap Hosts and Researchers, plenty of room for techs, camera people, interns, or crew hands though.

Wolfling72

I wanna be an intern...*blinks*

Of course, my groups are ridiculously full but dammit, I love this idea so much.

Myrra

Here comes a huge supernatural enthusiast with zero actual experience in actually dealing with the supernatural. She's a little out there as a character, definitely not the one with the strongest survival instinct, but exactly the kind of personality you want in front of a camera. She's exactly the kind of girl who's a little too reckless for her own good and winds up getting everyone else into trouble for the sake of shooting a good episode. Will her cool head be enough to prevail in the end, or will she drive the rest of the crew towards their demise? Hope you'll enjoy!

Character Sheet:

The Basics

Full Name: Emma Lewis

Nickname: M (Em)

Age: 27

Hometown: Manchester

Education/Job History: BTEC - Diploma in photography

Supernatural Belief: Zealous believer

Crew Position: Host

Physical Appearance

Description: Tall (6'1), blonde and sensuous, Emma is practically born to be on camera. With a very expressive body language and a captivating pair of deep blue eyes, one could easily drown in her stare if those azure pools weren't covered in a layer of biting ice. Slim, Emma just barely qualifies for being described as athletic.

Distinguishing Features: A catholic cross necklace - A big colourful tattoo on her left arm representing an owl in the midst of roses - A tattoo of a clock inside a tea cup down her left hip - Less noticeable tattoos on a couple of her fingers (an anchor and a heart sign) - No particular meaning to any of the tattoos, maybe just personality indicators.

Delving Deeper

Personality:
Critical: Emma likes to challenge what she's told and what she believes at all times. The truth isn't good enough, it has to be able to withstand any test.
Analytical: She's the kind to see patterns, similarities or things that are at odds with each-other, making her quite good at cracking puzzles and providing logical solutions even to the most unusual problems. This also makes her surprisingly apt at understanding other people and figuring out their motivations and personality traits, to an extent.
Fanatical: Emma believes that there's a truth out there just waiting to be discovered, something life-changing for herself and everyone else in the world. Someone who can't conceive that idea will definitely earn her ire.
Egocentric: She also believes that she's the likeliest candidate to ever find that truth, and as such, doesn't put as much faith in others as she does in herself.
Sarcastic: Whoever said sarcasm was the lowest form of wit clearly wasn't being creative enough.
Friendly: In spite of the previous personality traits, Emma remains immensely personable. She does care for others in her own way, and will often look after them as long as they don't show themselves to be dismissive towards her. Then, she can be cold as ice.

History:
Emma was born and raised in a wealthy family in Manchester. Her parents were very pious Christians, to the extent of enrolling in an extremist cult while she was in her teen years. This put Emma at odds with her parents, and though she eventually complied for the sake of saving herself the trouble of being a rebellious teenager, she never fully embraced the beliefs of the cult, no matter how much she was exposed to it. Blessed with a high degree of critical thinking, she could plainly see that her parents were only being exploited for their wealth by a crooked spiritual guide who had no real interest in delivering them the "salvation" he promised.

Emma did however become very fascinated with all things supernatural after her first encounter with it on the internet. At first, it was just escapism, the possibility that maybe there were other beliefs out there than what was being forced onto her. For her the Bible was like a cracked case. No mysteries, just a code of conduct, a set of moral principles people deluded themselves into accepting without any substantial evidence. The supernatural, on the other hand, was an unexplored realm of possibilities, full of truths which had yet to be uncovered. The more she looked into it, the more thrilled she was at the idea that one day, she could make some kind of breakthrough and find things no one else ever saw before.

Having this kind of passion at an early age mostly killed her drive to study hard in school. All she needed was a good enough income to maintain her lifestyle, anything beyond that was pointless ambition that would distract her from the things she truly cared about. She opted to study photography, as it was a close second of a hobby behind browsing the internet. Emma wasn't very sociable at that time in spite of her good looks, finding her classmates and teachers all too boring and mundane, so she kept herself shut down, restraining herself to a few like-minded friends instead of chasing some kind of school clout. Among those friends, Emma revealed herself to be a natural leader. The ways of the cult had rubbed off on her, she was quite good at converting others to her beliefs and dragging them along for whatever activities she had in mind. Camping in the woods outside the city at night, exploring abandoned houses, performing seances and rituals, all was Emma's ideas, her influence growing among her friends.

But, all good things had to come to an end, and once a few more years had passed and Emma held her diploma, it was time to find a job. Emma already had an eye for the US at that time, and it would only be a few years before she found an opportunity to migrate there for a job. From there to joining the crew of her favourite show, Ghostfacers, was only a few additional steps.

A Little More

Likes: Many music genres, including (but not limited to) metal, alt rock, UK garage... / Black tea / Tattoos / Alternative lifestyles.

Dislikes: People lacking in curiosity, those with a strict set of beliefs who refuse to consider that there could be things beyond their perception / Disorderly people / Politics.

Habits | Mannerisms: Drools when sleeping / Tends to chew on bubblegum most of the time / Runs around a lot when she's excited with little care for others' personal space.

Strengths: Her cool head and composure when things start being weird. Additionally, she has a willingness to get her hands dirty and open the way whenever needed, and can be a strong mental support for her group.

Weaknesses:
Recklessness / Limitless curiosity : Her sense of danger is vastly overshadowed by those traits. She may feel fear, but never quite to the degree she should.

Charisma: Eloquent as she is, Emma may very well lead others down the wrong path.

Insensitive: Emma has a lot of trouble reading the air and doesn't easily understand other people's personality flaws and shortcomings. This can lead her to greatly overestimate the mental health of her friends or say needlessly callous things to them.

Fears: Gags / Being choked / Drowning.

Extras:

Theme Song:

Character Goals: Getting world-famous, moving on to become a star, an actress / Becoming the prophet of a new religion (read: cult) founded on a truth she'll find somewhere down the road, hopefully within the realm of supernatural.

Character Sheet:

The Basics

Full Name:Georgette Taylor Marie Nickles

Nickname: Georgie

Age: 24

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

Education/Job History: Georgie was homeschooled most of her teenage life, entering Colombia College at 16, and has recently returned to Chicago working as a freelance journalist and fact checker.

Supernatural Belief: Believer

Crew Position: Researcher

Physical Appearance

Description: Standing 5'6 Georgie is lithe, petite would also be a good word for it.  She tends to wear comfortable casual clothing, though apparently she knows how to scrub up pretty well when needs be.  She tends to always carry a messenger bag with her.

Distinguishing Features: intense hazel eyes, tattoos of various sorts

Delving Deeper

Personality: Georgie is highly intelligent, though she is not arrogant about it.  In fact; she tends to downplay her smarts.  The girl happens to be ever so slightly socially akward, and in turn some people think she is stand offish, when the truth is - she's afraid of making a fool out of herself, so she's self concious.  Georgie tends to be perceptive as she isn't the most talkative, as well as thorough when it comes to research.  The scholar can be at times single-minded and strong willed when she knows she is right.  However, let it not be said that she is not loyal to those she considers friends.  For all of her brains, she is also rather athletic, due to many extra curricular activities such as martial arts, ballet and other forms of dance, and gymnastics.  Georgie is a rather clever girl though, and seems to understand the need for subterfuge as well as the ability for creative quick thinking.

History:Georgie was born in the normal fashion way, crying and screaming into the world on a cold and blustery Chicago winter's morning to a nuturing mother and a loving father.  Her mother an academic at Loyola University, her father a homicide detective; to some it did not make much sense; the coupling of these two - but there was an abundance of love there, and an abundance of brains as well.  Georgie was raised normally, well as normally as a highly intelligent gifted girl could be.  It wasn't to say she was a know it all, but... Okay, maybe she was a know it all - which caused feathers to be ruffled in school when she knew the material.  It made things difficult for the girl; she was bullied; and instead of throwing a fit about how the school could not look after their daughter - they chose instead to take her out of the school system and homeschool her.  It saved a lot of headache and a lot of heartache.

Georgie spent most of her time in her mother's office at the university, studying and learning.  She was a great little guinea pig for the college students there; to see how the young mind can work in such ways.  That is when she wasn't going from her hobbies that she had started to cultivate.  Her parents didn't want to isolate her from her peers; they wanted her to have a full and rich life.  They knew she could do anything she wanted to in the world, and they were more than happy to give her the chance.  What they wouldn't have been happy with, though - was the fact that Georgie was also doing research on her own free time, not academic research; of course, but research into her family.  Not her mother and father whom she loved so dearly - but of her family she never saw.  Her paternal grandfather Michael and her Aunt Rose.  It had all started off innocently enough, her mother had received an email from Michael begging her to tell Christopher to get in touch, that they needed him, before it was too late.  That it was time for Christopher to remember his responsibilities.

They had never mentioned her grandfather before then, and being the ever curious mind - Georgie was far too intrigued.  So instead of replying on her mother's email, she emailed her grandfather directly, introducing herself to the man she had never met; and asked him directly why he had never come to see them.  This started an ongoing correspondence until one day Michael arrived at the house.  A large argument ensued; and in the end Michael gave Georgie the only thing he ever could -two thumb drives and a large..almost tome like book that had been written in and was far thicker than any class book she had ever had.  He told her that it would all seem far too fantastical to believe, but she had to believe.  To protect her from whatever could be lurking in the shadows.  It didn't make any sense at the time; but Georgie, the ever curious, delved into the book.  A book about monsters, a book about how to hunt monsters... How to kill them.  She almost chalked it up to her grandfather being insane and that was why her father and mother never had him around for a meal; but she noticed that the handwriting was different, some of the pages were faded with time, that there was more than one person writing.  Annotations and footnotes to different entries.

Could it possibly be real?

The answer came soon enough when there was a spate of homicides in the heart of the city; her father a lead detective on the case.  She overheard him talking to her mother one night, the newspaper was mum on most of the details; because the truth was far too horrendous to print.  Bodies drained of blood, chests ripped open, bodies of deceased... horrendous findings.  One of the higher ups believed it to be a cult; her father knew better - and due to her studies so did Georgie, and she knew that her father could not deal with what she believed to be the Nachzehrer alone; so she emailed her grandfather to inform him of what was about to happen.  Unfortunately, Michael was too late and his only son - Georgie's only father was slain.  The nest was cleared, however, but the devestation that was left in it's wake continues to haunt the women of the Nickles family still to this day.

Her mother believed it was time for a change of scenery, to go back into hiding once more.  She retired from acadameia, and Georgie was accepted at the age of 16 to Columbia University, majoring in English and Comparative Literature; though her main focus was on Medieval and Renaissance studies.  To her mother; she was none the wiser that her daughter was in fact honing her skills and tracking down the mythology and the facts that she could gain from it.  By the time Georgie graduated; she was well aware the supernatural was out there, she was a believer - but none came knocking on her door.  So things were... Normal.  Or as normal as they possibly could be.  The siren song of the Windy City drew Georgie back to her city of birth and the location of her father's demise.  She worked as a freelance journalist - namely for academia rags, and as a fact checker for newspapers such as the Tribune.  It kept her finger on the pulse of what was happening in the underbelly.

After all - no one suspects the research assistant of compiling data about things that go bump in the night.

She saw a video playing on a popular social media website one night, something about the Supernatural; something about filming it.  At first, she didn't think anything of it - but the more she considered it; the more it would make sense.  Or.. at least if anything she could get a bead on them and make sure they didn't do anything stupid.

Or at least uninformed.

Throwing caution into the wind, she took a headshot though she didn't want to be on camera, she made a resume illustrating the work that she had done and her areas of expertise, and sent it off - as well as an email to her grandfather informing him that there might be something, but there might not be something going on.  Just in case she needed to call someone who actually understood what in the hell they were getting into.

After that - she didn't expect to get anything back in reply... But.. as luck would have it...

Apparently they needed someone to do research.

Would y'look at that?

Georgie is interesting! I can already see a few ways her and Emma would play off of each-other's strengths and weaknesses! I like her!

Tho the crew is now looking pretty female-oriented. Are we going to get some more joiners from the other side of the spectrum?  :-)

I know of at least two male characters brewing, so no worries plus I will have to fill out a slot or two with NPCs at this rate, which is always fun.

The Basics

Full Name: Dominique Duval

Nickname: Dee-Dee

Age: 25

Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana

Education/Job History: B. A. in Philosophy
Supernatural Belief: Believer

Crew Position: Intern

Physical Appearance

Description: Teensy, say it with me. At barely 5'3" and a whopping 110 lbs., the biggest thing on Dee is her hair and her glasses.  She doesn't care about that though as her appearance doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Caramel hued with a few well-hidden tattoos, she blends in and she is thankful for that. Hell, even her clothing of choice is meant to conceal far more than it reveals.

Distinguishing Features: Hazel eyes which shift from green to gray depending upon her mood. A wild tangle of curls that she refuses to control and her black frame glasses.

Delving Deeper

Personality: Adventurous | Athletic | Blunt |  Empathetic | Focused | Insecure | Intuitive | Moody

Dee-Dee is a force of nature or at least that's what her grandmother says.  She is an energetic wee beastie with a sharp tongue when she feels someone is being disrespectful and the wherewithal to back up every threat she's ever uttered. However, she suffers from mood-swings brought on by the notion that what she has to offer is never good enough.  A great listener with a deep-seated desire to make others feel better, Dee reads people better than most and acts accordingly.

History: Dominique was born on August 1st to Miss Delphine Duval due to a little slap and tickle after far too much rum during a public ceremony for All Soul's Day. Delphine, young and oh so pretty, was not quite herself when a fair-skinned yank took a fancy to her and then took her to bed later that same evening. Hell, years later, Dee's mother still didn't know the pretty white man's name, not that it mattered. He had been ridden, just as she had been and as Delphine told Dominique much later~ "You were my gift, bel ti fanm, I was not mad at receiving you!" Obviously, that was more truth than truth.

A young woman child without a father figure and raised by strong brown women soon learned to fend for herself and she spent more than a bit of time, fighting. Boys. Girls. That never mattered, she never allowed it to. What mattered was that she learned to protect herself and was as quick with her fists as she was with her tongue when angered. Her mother and grandmother did attempt to corral her temper by involving her in tumbling and boxing classes and, for the most part, it worked. The duo also began to teach her the way of the Loa once she reached puberty. A religion, a belief, a lifestyle, these things cocooned her, kept her on the path of jistis and allowed her to feel comfortable in a world where the unknown was considered terrifying by most.

"Petite bon anges are with me."

By the time she'd been accepted into LSU, she was well versed in calling the Loa and opening the ceremonies as well as dismissal. Her mother and grandmother encouraged her to study metaphysics and philosophy, to learn more about mystical and magical thought, to enfold logic into the mysteries and it was with their blessings that she pursued her degree while working a job and a half to offset the cost of tuition.

After graduation, the young woman with a pretty piece of paper in hand, looked into jobs that would allow her to travel further afield in the hopes of putting her new knowledge and self-awareness to work. It was surely the Loa and her angels who drew her attention to the ad requesting Interns and the like for the new Ghostfacers. However, it was her own quick response to it that (probably) got her accepted. After all, she knows that spirits are real. Who better for a show attempting to prove that theory?

Her gris-gris probably helped, too.

Character Sheet:

The Basics

Full Name: Pandora Lucas

Nickname: Pan

Age: 22

Hometown: Boston, MA

Education/Job History: Pandora has just finished college, majoring in Psychology. She's taking part in Ghostfacers because she thinks it will look good on her CV.

Supernatural Belief: skeptical

Crew Position: intern

Physical Appearance

Description:

Pandora is 5'5", with medium-length dark hair with highlights (layered in gentle waves), dark eyes, pale skin, and an athletic build. She's attractive, and usually wears clothes that show off her figure (often skinny jeans and a snug T-shirt). However, she only wears heels when dressing up; her everyday footwear is Dr Martens or flats.

Distinguishing Features:

An ouroboros tattoo in green and black on the small of her back, styled as a horizontal infinity symbol.

Face claim: Eliza Dushku

Delving Deeper

Personality:

Pandora likes to project an air of being in control. She's vain, both about her looks and her abilities, and enjoys being the center of attention, so long as she feels in control. She hates to admit any weakness, and would rather solve a problem herself than ask someone else for help. Much like the mythical character she shares a name with, she's curious and will tend to open things without thinking of the consequences.

She's not a fool, though: pride won't stop her calling for help if she's in imminent danger. Getting herself into the dangerous situation, on the other hand... Similarly, her curiosity doesn't means she ignores warning labels, though she might suspect they were exaggerated.

Still, her pride makes Pandora claim she's fearless; not true, but she's usually good at hiding her fears, which makes any freak-out all the more embarrassing. It also means she's easy to dare into doing something foolish.

She enjoys tweaking the nose of authority, but isn't really rebellious.

History:

Pandora is the youngest child, and only daughter, of moderately-wealthy family living on the outskirts of Boston. It was a pleasant, safe, suburban lifestyle, short of nothing except luxury. Perhaps inevitably, with two older brothers, she was a bit of a tomboy growing up, one of those girls who got on with boys at the age where boys and girls usually treat each other as repulsive monsters :) She managed to break her arm at a children's playground coming off a slide badly.

Her tomboy streak lessened in her teens, but she retained her independent spirit and a desire to do things on her terms. She occasionally got into trouble in high school, usually for testing the limits of school rules or taking unnecessary risks. The school rulebook grew while she was there, as they filled in loopholes she'd found ("But it says I can wear shorts for tennis. There's nothing about how long they have to be"). Her behavior exasperated her teachers, particularly since she was otherwise a good student.

She majored in Psychology at Suffolk University. Her parents encouraged her to be self-supporting, so she did some modeling, along with working as a barista. Her time there taught her to balance work, study, and having a social life.

A Little More

Likes: pizza, strawberries, snakes, cats, alcohol (especially champagne if someone else is buying), partying, good coffee, exploring new places, showing off, walking the 'Freedom Trail' like a tourist

Dislikes: bad coffee, being woken early, her phone not working, not being in control of events, having to go to the gym (but she makes herself go anyway)

Habits | Mannerisms: likes sitting with one hip perched on a desk or table, rather than properly in a chair; tends to comb her hair with her fingers when she's thinking; quickly checks her appearance in any mirrored surface

Strengths: psychology, dancing, gymnastics, tae kwon do, willpower (her pride won't let her weaken)

Weaknesses: poor stamina, vain, proud, stubborn, easy to dare

Fears:

Not being physically in control of herself (for example, she can't face going down a water slide at an amusement park, or learning to skate)

Being seen naked, or in her underwear: while she enjoys wearing revealing clothes, even modeling them, being caught underdressed makes her feel vulnerable.

Pandora hates 'creepy-crawlies'; she also hates to admit she hates 'creepy-crawlies' :)

Extras:

Theme Song:[Optional]

Character Goals:

Successfully get a real job after appearing on Ghostfacers.

Make enough money to be independent.

An unconscious character goal is to overcome her fear of letting go of control.

El Maligno

Character Sheet:

The Basics

Full Name: Kaimbe Longshadow

Nickname: Kai

Age: 28

Hometown: Roswell, New Mexico

Education/Job History: Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology

Supernatural Belief: Skeptical but curious

Crew Position: Equipment tech (If needed can do camera work)

Physical Appearance

Description: Kaimbe is 5'11", a muscular young man with warm brown eyes,  slightly shaggy brown hair and a tan complexion. He often wears a sleeveless, leather vest, revealing the Native American bird he has tattooed on his left arm or his "lucky" leather jacket.

Distinguishing Features: A Native American Bird tattooed on his left arm. (First pic)

Delving Deeper

Personality: Kaimbe is a strong-willed and caring individual. He genuinely enjoys  helping others, he enjoys tackling difficult tasks while also acquiring new skills. He shows signs of being a capable leader. He is shown to have some insecurities, as he has occasionally questions his role as leader in the past; sometimes pondering whether or not it was a mistake in appointing him as a leader from events in his life both big and small. He is also shown to take his role as a leader very seriously, and constantly juggles keeping his professionalism and personal feelings a distance to protect his loved ones. Kaimbe is steadfastly loyal and true to those he cares about and is driven to protect them, going as far as to constantly hide his pain and emotions so he would not worry them. He does not want them to feel bad so he hides a lot inside.

History: Not much to tell about Kai in his younger years other than he was a very out going and adventurous child. It became very clear that he was an explorer at heart. He wanted to see the world and explore new places. Roswell was far too small to contain him no tree was too high, no fear of the dark, every chance he got Kai would explore just to see what was there. Many times he would find nothing at all but sometimes he'd see some interesting sights out in nature, things that needed to be sought after in order to see. Kai was born on an Apache Reservation, his mother died giving birth to him. His father did his best to raise him. Seeing his son as an extension of himself he tried to instill the values of hard work, caring for nature and serving his country the best he could be it books, brawn or charisma he should do his best to make the area around him better, safer. This would lead to him joining the military as a young man and serve overseas. His father also a veteran, served in the Gulf war. He heard the war stories of his father but couldn't really picture the true carnage of war, he saw only the camaraderie his father talked about. With the goal to see the world, help people and to protect his country Kai set out to do just that. Here he learned the harsh reality of war, despite his father's warnings and things others had told him he did not have a realistic view on what war really was. It was a harsh awakening and learned a valuable lesson, to never underestimate again.

While he was serving his father passed away and he tried to fight through his pain with alcohol and pills. Losing the last bit of family he had was a crippling blow and something he did not handle properly, his habit further pushed him into the depths of his despair as he refused to unload his emotional burden onto anyone else of his own volition. Eventually his habit almost got the best of him until his unit set up an intervention to talk sense into him and did their best to help all on their own to show that he had another type of family. His unit was the only reason he didn't end up killing himself and when he was done with his time served he promised to make something of himself. He promised to make his dad proud. Seeing the important of computers and technology he saw that it would be best for him if he decided to give college a try and
once there he hit the books with bull dogged determination, both studying hard and enjoying a small slice of college life, not too much as he did not want to fall prey to his old habits once more, until finally one day he ended up earning his degree in E.E. After bouncing around a few jobs he eventually took up a job with Ghostfacers more out of skeptical curiosity than anything else. After all if to him he was either getting paid to chase air which was an easy job or he'd see something few in this world got to. It was a win-win situation to him.

A Little More

Likes: music, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, competition, partying, time with friends, flirting, witty banter, exploring

Dislikes: cats, cruelty, being used, rude people, being called an asshole (it's his no no word)

Habits | Mannerisms: Furrows his brow when thinking, when impatient he paces (if standing) or bounces his leg (if sitting), triple checks his work/equipment

Strengths:

Handy Man: Kai has learned a wide variety of tricks for repairs, is able to think outside the box for creative solutions. Basically is a Jury-rig master. It is possible for him to create something unique with the common materials on hand. Might be good for a simple and quick patch job or even some long term solutions.

Sleight of Hand: Kai has learned to perfect the dexterity needed to perform tricks and aid in misdirection.

Skilled Combatant:  As a former soldier, Kai is naturally adept in armed/unarmed combat.

Hunter/Gatherer: Kai knows how to live off the land if he needs to.

Use your head: Kai has critical thinking and complex problem solving skills gathered all together from things he learned from his childhood to his time with the military to his days in college and now as he learns more about the Supernatural.

Weaknesses:

Emotional Loner: When Kai has problems he refuses to talk about them even to his best friends. He keeps everything bottled up inside. He feels that he can not burden anyone with his problems. It is something he needs to work on or it will drive him crazy, because when left alone his thoughts drift towards the darker side of things and he is very hard on himself. Sometimes he slips and people can see that there are things going on in his head that he really should talk to someone..anyone about.

Slight case of PTSD: War is an ugly thing and due to his training as well as terrible situations he was forced in whenever he is startled he reacts as if he is being attacked. If you grab him from behind he will throw an elbow, flip you over his shoulder or some other attack that he feels protects him from a random perceived danger.

Alcoholism/Pill Popper: At one time these were the cure-all to his injuries both mentally and physically. After lots of hard work and willpower Kai has fought to stay sober, but the call of these seductive sirens is very tempting...

Fears:

Failing his comrades

Being indecisive in an important situation

Being forgotten/left behind

Extras:

Theme Song:[Optional]

Character Goals:

Verifying if the supernatural is real or not

Seeing something no one has ever seen before

Doing something that matters/makes a difference
