Tropical yoshi's roleplay request. (MxF)

Hello everyone! I'm tropical yoshi, and this is where I'll be posting my ideas for roleplay. My O/Os will be at the bottom, and you can feel free to PM me about any questions you may have.

Plot ideas.

Magic meets machine:
This is a plot idea for a world where there is both magic, and machine, but the two never cross. The land is divided completely in two by a massive chasm. There are flying machines and magical creatures that can fly, but anything that goes over the chasm is immediately sucked down by a massive unknown force. Any attempts to build over it wind up sucked right down with all other previous attempts. All who attempt to go around wind up lost at sea, or dashed against the rocks that divide the world even further. My character will be a clockwork mechanic, one of the people responsible for creating the wondrous machines that aid the kingdoms across the mechanical side, and yours will be a fantasy creature of your choosing who stumbled upon a method of travel between the two, but broke it in the process. It'll be up to our characters to bridge the gap between their separated worlds.

Fiction isn't always just fiction:
This story will be set in modern day. Fed up with the city life, and the tortures of every day life your character will take off into the woods at the edge of the city. Out there, It's all nature for miles and miles until you reach the next sign of civilization. However, once they've run themselves tired and began to regret their decisions, they'll discover a massive tree where all nature seems to condense into one place filled with powerful energy. There's a door fixed to it at the base of the trunk, and upon entering it's plane to be seen that inside the tree is a massive library. At the center of it all is a set of six lecterns with books positioned on them, and what appear to be doors, in the same color as the covers of the books in front of them. One of them is open, just a crack.

The land of familiarity:
This story will take place in a magical land were everyone at birth is given a familiar. Some are big, some are small, but they all start out as an egg. Soon after the child is born, the room fills with light the color respective of the child's familiar. Your character will have been born with the familiar and element of your choosing. To date, there are four basic elements and their off shoots. earth and metal, fire and lightning, water and ice, wind and sound. However, you've heard a rumor going around that when someone was born the room grew totally dark, and that when everything was settled, everyone was told the child wasn't born with a familiar. You've just turned twenty and been granted admission to the academy of the familiar arts. While wondering the school at night, looking for the bathroom (forgetting that there's one in your respective elements common room.) You stumble upon a boy with a black, winged lizard resting on his shoulder.

Genres:
I'm fine with most animes if I've seen them.
I'm ok with comic books, but I'm not a total fan for them, so don't expect them to be completely accurate.
I love fantasy, and Sci-fi.
I'm not big into post apoc, but i can do it.

And to top it off, I'm fine with doing role-plays that don't have magic or sci-fi stuff in them, but it's kinda like not putting salt on fries.
They have to be really good fries to keep eating them
