My message tab Says I have 1 message, but none of my PMs are new. I can’t seem to clear it.

Logging out and then in again has helped to clear that little bug for me in the past.

Sometimes SMF (the forum software) derps.  If Nic's fix doesn't work, post here again and I can send up a smoke signal to get it cleared.
