In the days before the rule of two, sith were numerous. One of the most important tasks a sith lord was faced with was selecting an apprentice. An apprentice was an extension of the sith's power, an enforcer, and would eventually be the sith's replacement. It was not a decision to be made lightly. To that end, a handful of lords established a contest on the remote world of Vorrus to determine who was most worthy.

In effect, a handful of potential apprentices were taken to a remote academy. During the day, they would continue their studies, though the occasional "special event" might put them in a combat situation or take them into the field. During the evening, the academy became something of a fight club. Lords would arrange fights between students to test what they had learned. The only rule was that the opponent was not to be killed. The winner would gain prestige, and nobody was terribly concerned with what happened to the loser. It quickly became an unwritten rule that the loser was effectively property of the winner until classes resumed in the morning. The administration would do nothing to stop the loser from being humiliated, dragged to the winner's room, or anything else the winner could think of, as long as everyone was back in class the following morning.

For now, this is simply an interest check. I'm not looking for character sheets or anything until I know there are enough people to make this work. I'm thinking most players would be students, but if we had enough people interested, it could be fun to have someone be a lord evaluating potentials, a guard who has some leeway to have some fun with weaker students.

While it's probably premature to look for sheets or anything, if you sign off, please signify if you would be looking to play a student who dominates, is dominated, or both. After all, this doesn't work if everyone is looking to win all the time (or vice versa).

I was thinking freeform. Its always hard to find a star wars system that a group of people are all familiar with.
