Naggarothi

About Me: Hello, my name is Naggarothi, and I’m glad someone is interested in my thread. I’m 19 and from the northwestern United States. I’m currently attending college in Oregon, where I plan on living once I graduate. I’m taking spring off for personal reasons, but in the winter I’ll resume my education, with the goal of entering the medical field, though I haven’t decided upon a profession. I feel inclined to warn you, I do tend to get slightly bogged down in the science of worldbuilding, so please let me know if that bothers you. I am a transgender woman, and a lesbian, though I would be willing to write opposite a male character, for the right story.

My Experience (Or Lack Thereof): I’ve been writing for nearly a decade at this point, in one form or another, and I think I’m a fairly decent writer. I’ve certainly improved a lot from my days writing atrocious self-insert fanfic. For me, writing is primarily a way to explore my gender, identity, and desires, something that my life hasn’t afforded me many opportunities to do. Unfortunately, I can’t offer any relevant metrics with regards to my writing abilities, as I have never actually roleplayed before. That said, I’m happy to learn and develop my skills if you’re willing to help, and I think you’ll find that I’m a quick learner.

What I'm Looking For in a Partner: I suppose I should just start by saying that I’m only interested in writing with those who use the lady or liege tags (or the higher ranked versions of those). I’ve just had some bad experiences with guys in the past. I’m looking for three things in a partner. First, someone to write with. Second, someone to teach me a little about this style of writing. Third, a friend. I’d like to get to know you better, and to talk about things outside of our stories. That said, I am pretty busy, so you shouldn't be surprised if I sometimes take a couple of days to get back to you. However, I will try to get back to you as quickly as possible. Finally, I’m looking to learn and would like to avoid picking up any bad habits. As such, I have to ask that you be reasonably experienced and write at least five paragraphs per post.

Posting Rate: I’d like to exchange posts in our story at least once a week, though I can’t make any promises. Sometimes life gets in the way, sometimes I get writers block, and sometimes my dypraxia makes typing rather slow. Other times I can write more than 2500 words in a day, so it should balance out, at least in theory. I’m hardly a stickler for grammar and spelling, but I would appreciate you at least using spellcheck and reading over your writing before you post. I can’t work with something I don’t understand, after all.  I’d prefer to write here, though I might be persuaded to move elsewhere under the right circumstances.

My Characters:I’m willing to play almost any kind of character, so long as she is female and dominant. While I might be a little bit flexible about the latter, the former is a hard rule. I might be willing to play a trans woman, but I’m not willing to write a futanari character, and a male character is an absolute no. For the moment I’m interested in playing confident and brash characters, but with a sensitive side hidden deep down, or the inverse, sensitive characters whose arrogant inner nature is slowly drawn out over the course of the story. Finally, I’d prefer to play relatively human characters. Elves, orcs, vampires, humanoid aliens, and especially dark elves.

What I'm Looking for in a character: With regards to your characters, I’m open to pretty much anything. That said, I won’t write non-con, so I would really appreciate it if your character willingly submitted, or even initiated their submission. I would also like it if they displayed some agency within the story. It just seems rather boring to write a story with a main character who is completely passive.

Settings: I love to write science fiction, supernatural, and especially fantasy stories. I tend to find things set in the real world rather boring. In addition, I have a fondness for worldbuilding, so I try to avoid drawing too heavily upon established works. For specific ideas I have, please look below.

What I'm Into: First, you should know that I'm looking for plot and romance over smut. When it's time for smut I'm into relatively general dominant stuff. Bondage, punishment, discipline, things of that nature. However, for the right story I'll try almost anything at least once.

Plots:
The Familiar
Orc
Dark Elf

Story: Your character is a familiar, a being with a well of immense magical energy, but without the ability to use any of that power. As a result she was destined to serve as a source of great power. Far too often people such as her would be taken and sold to whomever has both the resources and ability to forge a bond. Now, the College prevents such incidents whenever possible. Of course, the most efficient way to protect familiars is to have them in one place. And, while they’re there, it’s just prudent to give them some training. They are guarded by some of the greatest mages in the world who don’t have anything better to do, after all. Once a familiar has reached the peak of their power, usually in their late teens or early twenties (or equivalent for species which develop more slowly or more quickly), though it isn’t unheard of for familiars to be much older when their power matures. My character is an orc or dark elf from a distant, isolated village. Having access to a true mage allows them to go after more dangerous targets, so her village scrapped together every spare coin to send their most capable witch to get tested by the college. My character trained under local shamans or sorceresses, mastering the humble magics of her people, and so barely made it through the tests. As soon as the college found a compatible familiar (in terms of magic, that is), they sent for her, then prepared the ritual.
Setting: Low fantasy, possibly supernatural. The world is a dangerous place, especially if one leaves the relative safety of the major cities. Between the monsters, natural disasters, hostile environments, even sentient magics, much of the world is uninhabitable. Only the College provides any form of stability. Despite styling themselves as a humble institute of learning, they hold a near total monopoly on magic.
Themes: Romance, adventure, opposites attract, fantasy

The Vampire's Pet
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Story: In the far north, where the sun barely shines, there is a castle. Inside that castle there is a wealth of treasure, beyond anything even the dwarf holds can claim. That wealth is guarded by a terrible beast, but whomever can defeat such a creature will walk away with enough gold, gems, and magic items to live like kings for centuries. At least, that’s what the legends say. As in many things, the legends are wrong. Very, very wrong. There is treasure, to be sure, though not nearly as much as the legends say. The castle is more of a humble keep than the sprawling palaces of the south. And the monster…Well, someone must spread the legend. The keep is guarded by a true vampire, born into the curse, not turned. She is immortal, truly so, and profoundly bored and lonely. She barely needs to eat anymore, perhaps once a decade, but thirsts endlessly for companionship. As such, she spreads a legend that insures that adventurers slowly trickle in. Most, she feeds on, but on occasion one catches her fancy. These ones she turns with a single drop of her blood, then imprisons, keeping them until such time as their bodies reject her gift, killing them instantly, or another catches her gaze.  With such a small dose, they don’t turn all at once, but rather over the course of months or years, depending upon the strength of her victim. As a result, they gradually become her thralls, as all vampires do to those that turned them. To a creature that’s never known true affection, it must feel rather like love.
Setting:  Primarily within the castle, possibly some visits to nearby villages.
Seeking: I’m looking for someone willing to write the adventurer my character changes into a vampire. Aside from that feel free to do whatever you want with her.
Themes: Twisted romance, control, possessiveness, fantasy

The Demon's Toy

Story: For centuries, the world has been beset by demons, foul creatures from the nether planes. With only the rarest of exceptions, demons are cruel, vindictive, and sadistic. When allowed to run free, they inevitably sow corruption and devastation.  To fight them, and the lesser fiends that infest the world, an order of elite warriors was created and equipped with the finest weaponry the world had to offer. They fought well, driving back the demon hordes, but victory was impossible. Only a demon can slay another demon, and even the finest wards and charms could only hold a demon for a few decades, nothing to an immortal. Eventually, even their best efforts were insufficient. With the world on the verge of disaster, a young warrior made a contract with a lesser demon. In exchange for her partner killing the demons she slayed, her partner would be free to carry out every single one of their demonic desires upon her body and mind. With her sacrifice, the order was able to drive back the hordes. In the following decades, the order has declined a great deal. Each warrior makes a deal with a demon, gaining a weapon at the cost of whatever their partner demands. Your character was raised on the stories of demons and the mighty warriors who faced them and triumphed. For as long as she can remember, her dream has been to become a demonslayer, consequences be damned.  Every effort to join she made was rejected out of hand. Not strong enough. Not smart enough. Not sufficiently versed in the magical arts. Frustrated and filled with foolish exuberance she came to believe that if she could prove herself able to summon and bind a demon, they would have to accept her. Unfortunately, she realizes just how unprepared she was just a little bit too late.
Setting: Fantasy, possibly supernatural.
Themes: There are two ways I can see this going. The first, and the one I’m more interested in is a light, maybe even cute, story about a demon that couldn't be less suited for combat, and her partner, who wants nothing more than to fight. In this one, the corruption and darkness demons bring is of a…lighter variety. Alternatively, it could be a darker story about a demon who’s interests are of a darker variety, and who desires only to destroy the one foolish enough to call upon her.

"I never thought I'd see you again"

Story: The Dark One rose, channeling the power of demons to destroy all foolish enough to oppose him. With only the slightest exertion of his strength, he toppled kingdoms, shattered armies, even laid low the gods themselves. When his victory seemed inevitable, and an eternal darkness loomed over the world, six warriors rose to oppose him. Though the legends call them the greatest the world has ever seen, they were barely competent. However, they were the only hope. With secret knowledge granted to them by the Fates themselves, they were barely able to topple the Dark One. In the process, one was struck down, torn asunder by his foulest magics. Her allies attempted to save her with great healing magics, and even the aid of the gods themselves, but were no match for the curses coursing through her shattered body. She died, and was interred within the crypts of the gods themselves.  The remaining heroes were granted immortality, and have used that gift to master their abilities and to protect the world. The adoration of the entire world, the gratitude of the gods themselves, and even eternal youth meant little to one of them, your character, for she had lost the one she loved.  In her grief, she fought harder than the rest of her allies, throwing herself into her work with reckless grief, half hoping that one day she would fail, and fall victim to a foe. And then, one day, after centuries of serving as a guardian, she feels a soul. One that she never thought she’d feel again. Her beloved, reborn into the world. She abandons her mission, running to find the one she loves. She finds the young woman working at a book store, completely unaware of her prior life, and only distantly aware of the heroes of legend.
Setting: Modern fantasy
Themes: Adventure, romance, loss and love, possibly unrequited love.

And always feel free to ask about your ow plots, if you think I might be interested!
