Action-Adventure with Romance RP

Hey there, folks! Looking for somekind of Action-Adventure pairing with some Romance between the two 'main' characters played!I have had several of these kinds of things start, but they devolved to more sex than they were worth or just never gotten far enough to get to the romantic connection between characters. I am really craving some legit one-on-one romance going on, but not just standard slice-of-life situations. I want something more in-depth, actiony, at least, but maybe some adventure as well! It could be Fantasy, Modern or Sci-Fi, in fact I have a few ideas for each, if it's wanted to be discussed.

Honestly, though, normal human-to-human things aren't as interesting to me so i would be hoping for some more exotic characters. Could still have a human involved, but maybe the other is some kind of alien, monster or some such. If you want some furry or scaly folk, fine by me. However! If we seem to connect well in our discussions I have no problem doing human-human pairings, just a preference not to. The one thing even more difficult to get me into would be lesbian-relationship. I have had enough exposure to such that the sexual aspect just doesn't appeal to me anymore, though, again, if we, as players, work well I can make an exception, especially so if it's added as a plot-point, because the relationship-aspect and exploration/connection-aspects are more important than the sexual aspects for what I'd like.

Possible interests in non-human characters(Pictures are examples, not actually how characters would look): Dullahan, Kobold, Dragon(full), Illithid/Mindflayer, Centaur, Lizardfolk, or even a monster of some kind. (Unique, Grotesque abomination type monsters.)
