The Obsessed

The Obsessed consists of all the half-baked ideas that have been playing around in my head for awhile. These need additional building with a partner before they are fully ready to delve into.

Medieval/Fantasy
- A girl from a remote area of the mountains is out with a hunting/fishing/gathering party and is captured by a man from the city. He captures, trains, and sells men and women to the wealthy of the city. (I'd be looking for some sort of eventual romance, lots of pretty rough training - I'd be interested in playing either the male or female in this story.)

Modern Day Vampires - A woman falls for a mysterious vampire, but it isn't all its cracked up to be. I'm looking for some humor, a play into some of the inconvenient sides of being a vampire in modern society. (I'd be up for either the male or female in this story.)

Horror - A woman is plagued by a demon who forces her to experience the loss of her loved ones every day. She struggles, losing her mind, to try to fight him. (I'd like to play the demon in this story).

Pure Smut - A young, female student has been working hard to get her male professor's attention. When she finally gets it, he pushes her as far as she can go. (BDSM, Orgasm Denial, Forced Orgasm) (I'd want to play the female in this story.)

Cagedon and Ellie - These are recurring characters of mine. I have used them as humans and as were-creatures. Cagedon is dominant/stubborn/has a moral code pretty specific to himself. Ellie is for pure, unadulterated humor and fun. Here is a tiny clip of the pair:

“Stop squirming! I swear, you’re acting like a badly-behaved cub,” Ellie twisted on one dangerously high heel, grabbing Cagedon’s shirt collar and laying it back down flat. He made himself stand still, while she brushed invisible dirt off the jacket and stretched up to push a loose curl back out of his face.
“Ellie, it’s the grocery store. No one cares how I look at the grocery store,” he spoke with a smile, but inwardly he was as close as he’d ever come to shaking the old woman. I cannot believe she made me wear this to the grocery store. THE $%&*@#& GROCERY STORE! I should have never agreed to this. He nodded his head as Ellie rambled on something about keeping up appearances and new jackets. This collar is choking the breath right out of me. Jesus H. Christ it’s too hot for a damn jacket! He briefly wondered what he was consenting to, but shook that frightening thought away.
Taking Ellie’s arm in the crook of his own, he started their walk again. Cigarette smoke blew in pillars of ashy grey and white around his face from Ellie’s puckered red lips. Looking down at her “outfit”, he knew he loved the old woman, for no other reason than the fact that he wasn’t completely embarrassed to be seen walking around with her. Even if she is wearing neon green leopard print…what are those anyway…stocking pants? They look like they’re practically painted on her legs.

The Architect

The Architect consists of storylines that are already well built and planned. They are only waiting for the characters to fill their world.

And So It Was

Once upon a time, long, long ago, the world was full of wonderful things. The sun lay like sweet lemon curd on the ground and the roads were flocked on every side by thick, dense woods and the fresh, bright green of winter wheat. The people who lived there had plenty. They sat down to family dinners, where everyone talked at once, and the food was heaped in bowls and onto plates and fell on the floor where the dog lapped up each abandoned morsel. The children had toys and games and the homes were full of shiny things. The world was so full and rich and wonderful.

But the people became greedy. They wanted more and more wonderful things. They wanted foods that would not spoil, and fields that would yield bigger crops. They wanted more gadgets to tinker with, and games to play, and big planes to fly in so they could pretend they were birds. They wanted to build bigger houses and buildings and towers that reached up and caught the hot globs of lemon curd sunshine. They wanted more and more to fill their world.

And the world became too full.

It seemed such a little thing, the death of the bees. Gone were the tiny, fuzzy bodies, the angry stingers, the steady drone and buzz. Gone were the apple orchards and the clover fields. Bare were the summer fruit fields and the almond trees. Gone were the sticky white heads of cotton and the smell of honeysuckle each spring.

Gone was the food and so then, gone were the wonderful things. The people became hungry. They cared less about their toys and games, less about the shining things in their homes. The people became violent and turned on one another. They became thieves and beggars. They sold their shiny things.

And so The Nations came together. They met in dark rooms in the big towers and buildings. They made plans for the world that had become too full. They took out a sickness and dumped it all over the people. They hid in their tower and watched the sickness crawl, thick as tar down the streets. For every house it skipped, it slithered under the door-jam of three others. It seeped under the beds and wrapped long, slick fingers around the throats of the children and the mothers and the fathers. And they dug large holes for the people.

And the world was not too full anymore, and The Nations made rules.

The people remembered how bad it had been when the world was too full, when the bees died away, when the food was gone, when the sick crawled through their home and over their shining things. The people remembered and so the world was not rich, and it was not wonderful, and it was not full.

Thus, storytelling - from wherever it comes - forms a layer in the foundation of the world; and glinting in it we see the trace elements of every tribe on earth.
