A zombie uprising roleplay (m or f)

This is something I last played out quite a while ago, and went pretty far, until it fizzled out, but, I'ts been a while, and I'm offering it again.

It would have started in the mountains outside Los Angeles, rumors of undead, people vanishing, growing in size,but the stories are contained for the most part, with teams trying to contain and eliminate the outbreak. It could have been a viral outbreak,a chemical spill, no one knew, but they grew in number, overrunning towns, until the government couldnt contain it any longer.

My character would be a first Lieutenant of a marine combat unit, sent with her platoon to man a particular street in Los Angeles, or perhaps San Francisco, or San Diego, any would do. Platoons would man specific streets to slow down the infected, and gain time for people to escape the undead.  I'm thinking that my platoon would man the street, sealing one end off, evacuating civilians, with some arming themselves to assist.

It wouldnt be enough, they would overrun my squads, and every other squad in other specific streets. Your character and mine would make a getaway. You could play current military, ex military, a civilian with skills, a PMC, up to you.
