I would have to give that some thought, honestly.  A large part of the game comes from Mesmerra being honest (if indirect) with the students.  It would go against her game to have something that's an outright lie like this (to have a "plant" as one of the students).  Plus, I don't think that, being a literal deity, Mesmerra would be the type to go out of her way like this to save someone.

That being said, I don't want to shoot down the idea entirely.  As long as she'd be presented as someone that's not a student (maybe she's going around the town outside of the school, and teachers can point her out to students as an "extra credit" assignment if they ask), then I think we can get the idea to work.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that she is hidden from the other players or that Mesmerra is somehow being deceptive with her. I only meant to indicate that she isn't an actual student.

I'm open to any ideas, such as her being someone around town. Heck, she can be the school janitor for all I care. I'm also open as to how she entered Mesmerra's service. Maybe she offended Mesmerra in some way, or she is a gift, or she is working off some debt she owes Mesmerra. Whatever the case, the only thing I care about is that it is voluntary on Darcy's part.

Ah, gotcha.  Well... I will say that "willingness" is rather questionable when talking about mind control... did she really want to submit, or did someone hypnotize her into wanting to submit?  :P

But yeah, I'm totally open to people playing other characters that aren't students, whether as minor NPCs or potentially larger characters.  The main rule I'd have for any non-student characters is that they aren't allowed to use any mind control powers on the students (or any other plotting in general, really).  Though of course, that wouldn't apply if the character were already under another student's control.

As for how she'd come into it, I can leave that to you.  Just remember that the people in the town are under a spell that keeps them from noticing anything unusual about the town (the school's inside a pocket dimension and the town is basically made up of neighborhoods taken from the students' own worlds, making it rather unusual).  Though if she's someone special, she could easily be excluded from that spell.
