His best friend Sam was reluctant feeling guilty not being able to betray such a stand up guy, when she told him the truth he was horrified. Stacy is driven and focused but with Greg's betrayal this has changed from on work to seeking revenge initially but as it went on exploring her sexuality more than she could have while being loyal to her marriage.

He earned less than her and she knew he was self conscious about this but these evenings were almost a reversal and she could see how he enjoyed them becoming more elaborate as time went by, initially just her hair done to one side and a vaguely vintage sundress as a lark the night after they watched the original Stepford Wives movie in college. When she saw how much more energetic he was she developed it. If she made a mistake the sexual tension was broken as he spanked her bare rear while he spanked her before developing from there. If however all was well by the end of the meal he'd retire to the recliner with a newspaper in one hand and her pussy in the other as she perched in his lap. His personal philosophy is "Worrying about tomorrow's problems means you only enjoy it half as much." and this is as close to he comes to having an overall motivation as far as anyone can tell.

In reality, his job as a nurse practitioner led to a massive amount of stress in his life, from patients getting worse physically because they wouldn't follow his directions, to watching those few struggle with incurable conditions, to just the regular rigors of life in a high tension job. Rather than face this stress head on, he developed a type of coping mechanism that amounts to "I'll deal with it tomorrow," though that tomorrow never seems to come. Loves sweets, especially chocolate, and can be bribed with it relatively easily.

Background: Curtis is, or perhaps was, a nurse practitioner, specializing on gerontology, or, as he would put it, "Basically, I treat your shit when there's no doctors available." He chose to go into the field because he always wanted to help people, and he figured that it would take less schooling (and lower student loans) to become an NP than a doctor. The fact that there was a nursing shortage when he graduated helped his prospects in that regard. After working for several years at a semi-prestigious Urgent Care clinic, he'd saved up enough money to take some time off and work overseas with Doctors Without Borders. Unfortunately, at some point along the trip, he blacked out, and woke up in the tower. He's conflicted about it; on the one hand, there's no stress. On the other, there's not much need for someone like him here, it would seem, which makes him want to leave and get back to helping people who truly need it.

Not persay, I think he is cutting it at 11/12-10 and we are waiting for it to be even or mostly female before it's open to guys again. If I remember correctly, he said 20-10 wasn't going to happen as that is too much.
