Hey guys, I have had an idea in mind for a while to do something like this but needed to play with the ideas to try get something different and fun. I will put more effort into the story to it if there is some interest but for now I will give a quick run down.

The basic idea is that in 10 years time, things between the Western states and North Korea escalate. A virus is developed by North Korea to kill everyone who has not had their anti virus. One thing they never counted on was that the virus would mutate, back firing and killing even those who were vaccinated as well. A small amount of people are lucky enough to have a natural immunity to the virus.

The world has changed however. Without all the skills needed to make things continue, power, phone lines and everything just fall to ruin, leaving everything run down. The survivors looted and destroyed almost everything as the virus got bad. It was now a fair few years after the virus wiped out most of the world. Deep in the forest of central America, 2 groups had survived. They had 2 separate camps yet worked together to survive. One camp is the farming community, growing food and cattle for food to survive. The other group is the military group. They raid the existing landscapes and towns, getting what they can to improve life. They also provide protection for the farming community in exchange for food.

Both camps are highly specialised in what they do and live in harmony. I imagine things going a couple ways, either the farmers start pushing to break away, fighting ensuing or just a game about the harmony between the 2 camps.

I was planning on handing out choices every couple of weeks, almost like plot cue cards, such as... The raiding party is heading out, they can either go to the school or head over to the forests. It will then be up to the players in that scene to write it out. There will be cues about what happens at each choice and the possible rewards once again up to the players to write out and improvise on the cues. So if the school was chosen, there is a group of bandits there that needs to be dealt with, once that is done, the party will find a generator and text books. Something to that effect. Obviously I will put a lot more thought into all this if there is enough interest.

I was thinking around 5-10 players per camp, preferably the smaller amount since this is my first GM project. There can be relationships between the camps and within the camps, maybe even an illegal love interest between the 2 camps, something that is actually forbidden. I will also come up with set roles/jobs for applications at each camp. Something like 2 guards, 2 raiders, the leader and store room supplier for the military and something similar for the farming camp.

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for this and let me know if there is any interest to be able to go forward and write things out in a better, more easy to understand format.

May rewrite it so my ideas are a little more easy to follow. Looks like I had a serious case of verbal blabbering lol.
