I mean, if there's going to be so many female tabaxi, I'm now wondering if I find them to be attractive or not. On the one hand, from the pictures they are a lovely shape, but on the other hand, they seem to have fur.

Eh, that one on the far right that Kathyan has in her post doesn't really have a "cat face". Though I will concede that the fur being an off but the feline faces not having been a consideration being is odd I guess part of it is that with the fur aesthetic, the cat faces look natural, but with the human bodies, the fur looks off, if that makes sense?

Just to answer the leading question of hte morning; the Tabaxi are a sorta "full anthro" race. Think the Khaijit from Skyrim, rather than Thundercats or... ugh... nekomimi.

It's the other way around for me. I don't mind fur at all, but when a human-like figure has a very inhuman face, I find that a bit off-putting. So I admit I prefer the more humanized sorts of cat-people (fuzzy tails are cute), but... I guess can't say the second and third pictures Kathyan posted aren't appealing in their own way either.

(So don't let my thoughts dissuade anyone from playing whatever they want. I'm just rambling because joining in a conversation about the attractiveness of a fictional race of cats seemed like a good way to spend the morning.)

I'm still thinking on what to play... I'll probably end up spending a day looking through some pictures and trying to figure it out. I admit I was thinking more along the rogue or spellcaster lines too, but I do like healers, so I'll definitely be keeping that option in mind. Maybe a fighter type too, though I'm a bit hesitant since I'm playing one in another game.

It will probably depend on what I find that sparks my imagination...
