In the Universe's darkest time, the fated warriors have been chosen by the Stars that watch over us.

For Eons, our universe has been protected the Guardians. Heroes from vast planets, chosen by the Stars to fight in their name.

However the once bright lights have been extinguished. An intergalactic empire, Gaia-Ark, has unleashed a weapon that not only destroyed five solar systems, but the current team of Guardians.

As the tyrants begin their rule, the people cry out to the stars for new heroes.

Fueled by the sorrow of their people, the Stars call out to the Twelve new heroes. To train and defeat Gaia-Ark before their sinister weapon can be used again!

While the idea isn't as fleshed out as many others, I think part of the fun will be building our own mythology as we go along.
Despite the Power Ranger/Sentai picture, this is more based off of old action shows with hot blooded heroes and over the top attacks and lots of shouting, Corny ass speeches about friendship and justice. Kinda like THIS. OR like Dragon Ball or One piece or something. Hey if you love Shounen Anime then you'll fit right in.

The RP will focus on the new heroes training in a large facility in Space. Training in their newly given abilities as well as learning the ropes of being Star Guardians. Now and then, the Commander (an NPC i'll handle) will send some or all of the heroes out on training missions on other planets or to fight off a Gaia-Ark commander.

Some Ground Rules

1. I am super lax on word/sentence/paragraph minimums. But just give atleast a decent paragraph and we'll be fine. But I can understand the now and then block.

2. Sex can happen. However I don't want the entire RP to be a smut fest.

3. I'm not all that familiar with systems, so this'll be free-form. Don't God Mode, take a few hits and let your character get beaten a couple times. BAsically don't make a fucking Mary/Gary Sue/Stu

4. I do expect at least 2-3 posts a week. If something happens that'll have you off for awhile lemme know and i'll put your character in stasis (or something) until you get back.

5. While this RP has a more light hearted tone, there will be darker moments. And because I know it'll come up, Non-Con can happen. But both Parties must be cool with it and send me a message detailing the context of the scene. IF I feel it doesn't contradict what's going on then i'll give the go-ahead.

6. Characters will have two Powers. A Natural Power and a Star Power. A Natural is an ability their born with, and Star will be a new power given to them by their Star. (For this we'll be using the Constellations. Here's a list to help you out http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0004505.html )

7. The Stars don't discriminate. LGBTQ characters and characters of any race/species/etc are allowed. And i'll let YOU create those species and planets. Just remember the God-Mode rule please.

8. In terms of characters appearances, I will accept both real and drawn face claims

9. You may play up to 2 character

And I am tired as fuck. When I get up i'll make a character profile Skeleton and if atleast four other peeps show interest, i'll make the OOC threads and such.

Super Star Cast

NPCs
Swarz: The commander of the Star Guardians. For millions of years he has trained countless generations of Guardians. He may be a bit overzealous though, often shouting his feelings and making bizarre on the fly motivational speeches.

Sparkle: A small robot and handmaid of sorts on the Star Base. Despite being capable of intensive tasks, it has the disposition of a child. However despite it trying to keep a cheery disposition, it's still mourning the loss of the previous guardians.

Valheim: The enigmatic leader of Gaia-Ark. A brutal warlord who commands an army of millions. However after unleashing a weapon that wiped out the previous Guardians, he has become even more reclusive, almost as if needing to recharge in order to use it again.

Kaika: The strategist and advisor to Valheim. Cruel and cunning, he's willing to use any sort of trickery and manipulation to get what he wants.

Solei: An augmented soldier and general for Gaia-Ark. With powerful gravity based powers and steel rending claws, he's a force to be reckoned with.

Some notes on Guardians
Uniforms: While the dress code is generally lax, each member is given a choice of three kinds of jackets symbolizing their membership. 1 2 3

Star Bracer: A gauntlet like device given to all Guardians that creates their weapon and gives access to their star power. It also serves as a communicator of sorts, as well as your key to gain access to various rooms on the base.

Name: Noel "Triste'" Devulan

Guardian of: Corvus

Title:  Blind Star!

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Personality: Despite her disability Noel tends to keep herself upbeat if not cheerful, quite the bubbly little character as she doesn't let her lack of sight stop her from enjoying herself. All she has ever wanted for for those around her to treat her the same as they would any other, as she uses her heightened senses to get a feel for her surroundings and get to know others. When the subject of her eyes does arise however Noel does her best to escape the obvious, deflecting or outright excusing herself, as to feel one's pity to her is the worst though otherwise she is lovely and more than willing to aide anyone in trouble.

Weapon: Noel's most prominent weapon is able able to change her own shadow to that of a whip of sorts, it is strong and able to withstand immense pressure making it ideal for holding or outright damaging.

Natural Power: Noel has always had a sense of perception that was much higher than any other she had come across, picking up cues and silent words without being told so as she is often regarded as a mind reader when the truth of the matter is she can more so sense strongly than others. A lot of it is due to her disability and loss of her sight, as from a young age she's had to rearrange pictures and sensations to form images for herself as it simply grew from there.

Star Power: With the power of Corvus Noel is able to have enhanced vision into anything that is deemed darkness, as well as being useful she can travel through the shadows themselves making her quite in demand for any stealthy missions or errands that need to be done without raising alarm. As long as she can visualize the area she wishes to go she can do so, but is unable to transport herself into places she's never been or can't paint a picture within her thoughts. Able to manipulate the darkness she can fashion her own shadow as a shield and can use the void to store items if needed.

Strengths: Enhanced senses, Flexibility, Endurance, Shadow Manipulation, Passionately protective of those close to her, Unwilling to back down

Weaknesses:Obvious Noel's sight can be somewhat of an issue, along with her slim and lithe figure she is easy to toss around or receive damage.She does tend to become quite emotional which can lead to her becoming flustered and judgement impaired.
